I can't for the life of me get a GPS fix consistantly. I've tried FasterFix and GPS Status on the market and have added the default,supl tag to my APN type. I've also used a couple of HD2 Patches supplied by Angel Death. Even then I only got an intermittent low strength connection with 5 sats in the middle of my back garden which took 6 minutes to get.

Which doesnt help as I've had my GPS running now looking for detection for over an hour and a half on the windowsill.

So im used to cdma devices in the recent yr but ive been with tmobile prior!!
Why does the gps fail to determine gps location for google maps? When infact im on open highway with 4g and full signal bars ..
This puts a hault on using navigatio or google maps
Is it a gsm issue or signal issue or just undiscovered bug ?

same here, gps takes forever to lock, and sometime, it fails altogether!

Whenever I camp out on WiFi, the GPS doesn't lock. I have to reboot. Try a reboot. It should lock on instantly after..

Like someone said above, I need to reboot mine if it doesn't lock but after a reboot it works fine.
with the case on takes me around 5 sec to lock on
with out the case it takes me only 2 sec
anyone having a weak gps issue? i am. goog maps or navigate or telenav can't track me accurately. ot can find a location but it sucks finding me and navigating. ive been in every major city from san diego to ny to new orleans atlanta dallas etc... military and on vacation and no matter where i go the gps sucks. it does however have a crack on the top left corner over the front camera if it matters. i have the latest prl update and all

I think there is an issue if you leave your phone on for a certain number of days, the GPS stops working accurately. Try rebooting your phone

i don't get whats wrong with the gps mine locks on with 60 meters acruaccy as soon as i open maps and the gps was actually spot on

ive been in Jacksonville with 4G and it still sucks. in pensacola right now. it finds any address i type in but struggles to navigate me there. i really need it when i get back to diego bcus i have a sweet bluetooth setup in my helmet when i ride my bike and use it for the voice navigation

You might want to exchange it. I use mine in L.A. and Orange County and it is pinpoint accurate. I was actually surprised how well it was working. It was exactly right on when I had to take an offramp to another freeway or during surface street driving. I am using Telenav

I agree exchange it. Our gps on telenav here in Houston works perfectly, very quick and accurate, beating google maps every time.
download gps status and toolbox it will fix your issues. If not then return the phone is your best bet..

Download this, reset your GPS, if it still wont work I'd take the phone in for a replacement. My GPS wouldn't lock on last night, I had to use this to get it to work.
I had the issue above but once i reset the phone it seems to be very quick in pinpointing my location

that's what mine said constantly. i used the app then restarted the gps and eventually out started working.

Unless I'm missing something, there's a thread hiding in the Dev section that's supposed to fix GPS troubles. I don't know if it's a different issue from what you're having, but thought I'd put that out there.
I tried searching for it. Can't find it in dev.

hi guys..
the scenarios is like this:
- i went into the lift at my office tower
- the signal bar show no signal
- then when i go out of the lift, to open air area, the signal still showing no signal
my workaround for this:
- turn on flight mode and off so that i can force it to refresh the network..
anyone facing this issue?
Download fresh network from google play, it works as a network strengthener too , it works for me

That apps seemed to be doing the same stuff which is turning on and off the flight mode. Doesnt solve the issue..

Hi, I'm using android 4.2.2 Jelly bean 42 R9 and I have problem with my GPS signal. When I launch GPS navigation it says that signal is too weak to determinate actual location and even after 2 hours it didn't find my location. Could you repair it please? It's quite urgent

Try flashing this and see if it improves btw this is not my work but works for me
