[MOD][CM 7][6/10 Update] Iconswitch/centre clock+ honeycomb clock

Update 06/10/11
Besides the usual centre clock,transparency and iconswitch this time I have improvised and done the following:
a) Phone signal to the extreme left and is fixed.All icons appear in between
b) Honeycomb digital clock on lockscreen(multifont).Never use patterned lockscreen with this method. See bugs. You will not be able to unlock if you use patterned unlock.So there are two versions.
c) Custom animations(flip and flyin mix from Fab's apex ROM).
** You can change theme Chooser themes without rebooting if you use Cache Cleaner NG from market to clean caches after applying theme Chooser theme ( thanks to coozie for the info).
**In Grif's RC1(odexed) you have to delete SystemUI.odex after flashing to get transparency .

BUGS
Cannot unlock with patterned lockscreen if using honeycomb clock mod.SO NEVER USE PATTERNED LOCK IF USING THIS MOD/or use the mod without this clock.But if you don't use patterned unlock you can use it without problems.

INSTRUCTIONS
1.PLEASE READ
a)Transparency works with only those themes which support transparent status bar.
b)You should never chose signal text display. Also you should have the battery percentage indicator always on(for centre clock and icon switch to be good).
c) You have to reboot everytime you change theme chooser themes because theme chooser overwrites it and status bar blanks out. Or you can use Cache Cleaner NG to clean caches without rebooting(icon switch and centre clock mods).
2.How to apply-
(a)Apply themes supporting transparent status bar or any theme if you don't want transparency .
(b)Download the mods above . Go to cwm recovery.Select install zip from sdcard and apply.
3.Remember these Transparency situations with different launchers:
a)ADWLauncher: works after unchecking "System Preferences" > "Wallpaper hack";
b)LauncherPro and Go Launcher Ex: works only with live wallpapers or with normal wallpapers, but you have to hide notification bar on "Appearance Settings" in LauncherPro.
c)Stock GB launcher,Ice cream sandwich launcher,Xperia active launcher : works by default, no issues.

If patched theme works then no need...

applied it on the xperia arc theme on the KANG cm7 vesion...
the notification bar disappeared... not even the swipe down action is working nor option-notification working...
any way to revert back pls help.......

I had told to make a cwm backup for this very reason.
Somebody please upload SystemUI.apk and framework-res.apk from KANG cm7 version for me to make the mod and for aceian to restore the original.

As already mentioned this is for Galaxy Ace cm7 builds only.

Please, make it for Desire!!! I do not know why custom roms does not have transparent notification bar by default...

Possible for a share of an fully transparent statusbar? Thanks!

This is a patch to the framework and systemui to ALLOW transparent statusbars but if you want the transparent statusbar you need a theme that features it.

Is it just me?

Which launcher are you using..see info about launchers in the first post. Transparency may not be working due to launcher not supporting.Disable wallpaper hack if using adw.

Hello, I am trying to create a new theme, its base of CM9 beta 1, this theme compatible on CM9 beta 1, beta 2, beta 3 and beta 4 by arco68.

very nice theme, thank you i like very much the notification bar! can i ask you a question? how you compile/decompile Contacts.apk for editing xml? if i do it with apktool(tried also ics apktool and same problem) even if it compile and decompile without errors after flahing file it force close!

didn't work don't know why, but it decompile/compile without errors but after flashing only people app works(with also the changes that i made) but Contacts.apk force close. anyway thanks

i did that bro....still and i take screen shot just now then suddenly toolbar came up...but they battery and the number not center i"ll upload the SS later...

i dont know why not work for me..
just follow thd instruction but i can't change the theme..

Previous mod include full systemui.apk but in this mod just some files related to statusbar transparency.So, u don't lose any mod related to systemui.

Don't quote whole op post .This mod is for only Statusbar where is settings icon on statusbar?

and setting icon is in upcorner right but almost out of screen.

U have to flash the center clock mod to get clock in center .In rom its not in center .
Settings icon somewot out of screen due to dpi issue ,but when u click on the edge it works.

i don't know s4 messaging is so not working.
i almost flashed every mode you made.
i don't want to wipe data and reinstall all the apps again. could i flash your rom again without wiping data? maybe it deletes conflicting modes and i get center clock and s4 messaging working?

Rom can be reflashed without wiping data and factory reset .
S4 messaging app is for previous version of rom not the latest and this statusbar mods r universal for all grand duos roms .

i did reflash the rom and then wipe dalvik and... then flashed center clk and trans 25% so it force closed system ui.
then got back to recovery and flashed battery mod and then center clock. now everything is good. even setting icon. but recent apps icon is gone.

Yes unfortunately we only have one 4.3 ROM for our toro+ and it is completely stock.
Edit: could it be the 1% battery mod?

Yes I tried flashing both separately... The center clock mod gave me a system UI fc and the all in one took away my status bar and navbar

maybe there's a problem with animation framework, bacause xml changes are in anim framework and systemui
you should revert changes in framework-res.apk flashing the original one... download your rom and extract it and make a flashable zip

I think you should use stock launcher ( or if it is Nova or Apex, disable homescreen shades)

It's because that ROM is NOT STOCK. You would need to use a ROM that is 100% STOCK AOSP, No Mods.

This caused bootloop on verizon gnex running aokp 4.3 nightly.

It's because I modded it on a stock ROM, in which I had to create 2 new xml's, add/remove some line in values and edit smali. This mod replaces the SystemUI.apk & android.policy.jar, so if it's not on a Stock "Unmodded" ROM it will just FC (Force Close).

Hi Mate. I'm using stock rom as per suggested here but i failed to get kitkat navbar gradient. i only able to get status bar gradient only. is there anything wrong? my ROM is rooted by supersu chainfire.

Umm... It's weird that you have the status bar but not the nav bar. Could you post a picture? I'll go through the mod and take a look.

now i cant reproduce those as my gnex enter into bootloop. will share ya once my gnex back to normal.
