No, but it has a panorama function.
If you want the photosphere, you can try to install the Android 4.3 camera APK (just search for "photosphere camera 4.3 apk" on google).

I installed the 4.3 camera.apk and it works great, photospheres too.

Yes you do. This does not overwrite/replace the original samsung camera, it just adds a new gallery and a new camera.
I tested it on a rooted stock rom. Strangely enough now that I switched to the latest CM10 I can't even install it any longer.
and if you use CM10.1 then the one I posted above doesn't work. But don't be sad, there's another one that you can flash, and I can confirm that it works

so most of us have switched to 4.2 or 4.2.1 ! and i really used to love the camera video effects in the camera which have been removed since 4.2 ! so how do i get those back ? i found out camera ics app form the market but apparently they dont show any effects other than the background changing effect ! i need those big eyes,big mouth etc etc... whih m sure can be added with the libs required form the 4.1 system ! so if any1 could assist me in which libs it used .. i'l b really thankful !

its not the camera.apk its the missing libs ! when i was on 4.1.2 and i used the effects even on the ics camera app ! its just that in 4.2 the additional effects libs have been removed ( m guessing)

JB 4.2.# have same camera lib files than JB 4.1.2 (except photosphere lib files..), about ICS I don't know, should be exact same files on ICS..

It´s the Google Camera (Photosphere) taken out from my Nexus 5 factory Image.
Simply flash it in recovery, it will delete your old camera / gallery and install the N5 photosphere camera & gallery.
it´s tested and working on Android 4.4 ROMS.

This flashable zip I put together will remove the stock Samsung Camera and Samsung Gallery from the Samsung 4.3 touchwiz roms and replace them with the latest Android 4.4.2 Camera along with a more usable Gallery app from ICS. I like this setup much better than stock but of course your mileage may vary. Make a backup first in case you don't like the changes.

I have try it and it works. My old Samsung camera is still working too.
Photosphere works, panorama works, video recording works.
Everything works acept the HDR and Raw mode.
I can't find it anywhere in the settings.

I believe the problem is that your Samsung Camera and Gallery apps are odexed versions and the Android Camera app is deodexed. Try this version. It will delete the odexed versions and replace them with deodexed versions and also install the Android Camera. As always, make a back up first.

hello! I flashed the add camera only, and it fc when I click in photosphere or panorama.

I'm not sure what the problem is. You are the first to bring up this issue. Do you have any other mods on your phone, or have you changed the dpi of your rom? Try to clear the data for both cameras and the gallery in your application settings.
Or maybe it was a bad download ...try to download again if clearing the data doesn't help.

It is not only "one" apk to install camera there are many function also as apk and other datas you have to install...

It worked for me, but when I flashed it and rebooted, the gallery dissapears. Using quickpic now ._.
Camera does work. But does remove gallery. Installed the asop gallery apk (before it was pulled)

Excellent work - glad to have stock cam back. But in particular I like this maintainance script keeping camera available after flash update of the ROM :good:

Now no need to revert to stock from custom roms... :laugh:
But unfortunately flashing the camera in recovery removes the Gallery app...
I'm attaching the Motorola Gallery app along with this post and this would work fine with the Moto Camera....
The Moto Gallery app is meant to be used with this cam instead of the AOSP gallery...

Yup, it comes with an in built feature rich editor...
Try it yourself...
I can vouch you won't go back to the AOSP gallery anymore...
