[Q] Problem with Facebook Authorziation Popup - LG Optimus G Pro

I am not exactly sure when this started happening but lately I cannot get any app to authorize my account on facebook. For example, I installed sycn.me and when I try to use it, it asks me to login and after logging in, I get a prompt with all the permission details and there is OK and Cancel button but I cannot click on either one. I tried disabling the Facebook app but even the web popup has same issue. I have tried several different apps that rely on facebook permissions and all have same issue with the popup. The apps that have already been authorized, work without an issue. So I don't think that it's an issue with authorization but the authorization detail popup.
Does anybody has any solution for this?

[SOLVED]hangouts not receiving messages

So I recently upgraded to CM11 M6 and I've noticed an odd problem. When people message me on hangouts if the app isn't open, I don't get a notification on the phone at all. Then when I open the app I have to scroll through the ENTIRE conversation I've had message by message and it does the animation for each message. This means if I've been talking to somebody for an hour or so I have to scroll for like 5 minutes on my phone to get to the latest message. Anyone have any similar issues or know of a fix? This is only a problem for chat type messages, SMS comes in no problem
What I've tried:
Uninstalling updates from hangouts and google play services then reinstalling hangouts
Removing google account and readding it
EDIT: I think i've found the fix.
remove all phone entries from https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions
Removed the google account from my phone.
reboot
readd google account to phone
SUCCESS!

Push noification/GCM not working

I've encountered a strange problem which I can't figure out.
It first came to light when I tried to enable push notifications in the BBC News app, which kept coming back with 'push registration failed'.
I thought this was just the app playing up, but I downloaded a different app which also is not able to register with GCM to register.
I've tried disabling my google account, then logging in again but no change. Rebooting the phone also has no effect.
Anyone have any ideas what could be causing this?
Thanks

I was just playing around with Greenify and noticed that the Xposed Module has a feature that will keep apps hibernated, but allow push notifications... Do you have this enabled by any chance? Could be causing the issue.
Also; is your phone rooted? Any mods?

[Q] Email App shows as ACTIVITY_ENTRY_NAME now do I fix?

Recently the Email application seems to have renamed itself on the App screens to be called ACTIVITY_ENTRY_NAME instead of Email. Everything works but I'm so fussy that this annoys me and I'd like it to say Email like it used to.
Does anyone have the stock email APK so that I can try reinstalling this to see if that fixes the issue. Or can anyone recommend any ways to correct this.
Have done a reset of the device and have also upgraded to 10.5.1 and rerooted again and nothing has fixed it.
The application name changed about the same time as all the issues with Google Play Services stopped working messages occurring.

Screen Overlay woes

I'm using Yahoo Mail for my Yahoo account but each time I try to allow Yahoo Mail to access my contacts, I get the following error message:
Screen overlay detected.
To change this permission setting, you first have to turn off the screen overlay from Settings > Apps. I did just that in the Settings > Apps screen but it keeps re-enabling itself! Is this a bug or what? I can't change any of my permission settings for any of my other apps either.

It isn't a bug, but it is a confusing message, which some might consider sub-optimal.
You need to go into
settings->apps->gear icon->draw over other apps
and look for every app that says "Yes"
For any app that isn't from Google, write the app name on a piece of paper, tap on the app name, and then disable "Permit drawing over other apps"
Then go back and run your mail app and you'll be able to accept the permissions it is requesting.
Then go back to
settings->apps->gear icon->draw over other apps
take the list of apps you earlier disabled this permission for, and enable it again, if you feel it is appropriate.
The reason it is happening is because you have an app running that is currently overlaying stuff on your screen. Google can't tell if that is a legitimate app or it is a malicious app trying to gets you to click on other things or stealing your keystrokes.
Before, they just never warned about it. Starting with June update, there was a bug where you couldn't press accept for permissions, only deny.
In July security update, they changed that to give you a warning that there is a screen overlay running and they can't continue.
IMO it is still confusing to the end-user.
I think I found the culprit. It was Omni Swipe causing it to pop up.
This thing is so freaking annoying. I've switched to "no" every single app (including system ones), whatsapp web qrcode scanning feature asking for additionnal camera feature gets stuck with this damn overlay thing.

Problem with Google account in-app authorization

Hey folks,
at first i am really pleased with this phone but there is one problem that is giving me some headache.
At first startup i logged in with my google account and everything worked fine. now i have some apps that want me to grant in app authorization (eg pokemon adveture sync, bixby log in with google acc).
I can select my account in the window that opens and it goes to the next screen and then loads forever (see picture attached). I tried to delete and register my google account again, but the problem still exists. So it tried another google account and it works fine with it. I don't know what to try to fix this. Hope someone can help me with this.
Thanks in advance!
Have you disabled any packages?
I have only disabled "game launcher" and "one drive". Just tried if reenabling it solves the problem; it doesn't. Problem is still there.
Did you mean this by "packages" or do you mean something in my google account?

That's what I meant. Try making sure all second factor authentication methods are turned off for the account, at least temporarily.

Tried to deactivate the second factor authentication. Still no change.
Tried the authorization thing on an older huawei a few days ago an it worked. Today tried again, the same problem on the huawei. Seems to me like the problem is on google's side.
