[Q] menu/back key not light up! - Galaxy Tab 3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Since out of the box, my 7" 3G+Wifi SM-T211 "menu" and "back" soft keys are not lighting up.
It's only me or other 7" also same?
Thanks.

I have Tab 3 7" wifi only SM-T210 and I doesn't have light too. I didn't see any settings for the touch light or something. So I think there are no lights for that menu

no light in my tab t211 too

That's not a feature on the 7 inch model. Only the 8 and 10 inch models have backlit keys.

Nexus 7 Auto Screen On

Hello, I would like to know what auto screen on (on without pressing the power button) options for the new Nexus 7 2013 with stock. I'm using Auto Screen On on my Nexus 4 but it doesn't quite work well with the tablet. Thank you for sharing.
a few kernels have swipe to wake and double tap to wake functions so you don't need to use the power button.
Or you could get a case which turns the screen on and off when you open/close the case.
Gravity Screen works for me with motion.

[Q] S Pen not working correctly

When I hover my S Pen over the screen of my Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 edition, nothing happens. Nothing comes up on the screen. Plus, when I touch the pen to the screen, Air Command does not come up - instead I get options to set for my Home Screen.
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks, mandp523
Have you tried holding the pen button as you hover?
Hello, Thank you! Now it works!

Screen Capture

Home and power buttin don't do screen captures anymore. What app did I diable to stop it from working?
1. Take a screenshot on the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 using a keyboard shortcut
To take a screenshot on the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 press the home button and the power button of the smartphone simultaneously. This key-combination must be pressed for about 1-2 seconds. Then you will see a flashing white frame around the screen and hear a click-sound that indicates the screenshot was taken. This information is also shared with you in the status bar of your smartphone.
The key combination for taking a screenshot with the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 requires a little training and a little practice, but is the most used method. Especially if you have changed from a non-Samsung smartphone to the Samsung Galaxy Note 4.
2. Take a screenshot on the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 by swiping the screen
The screenshot can be triggered on the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 by swiping the screen. This gesture must however be enabled in Android. To enable the feature on the Samsung Galaxy Note 4, you must navigate to the settings of your smartphone. In the settings, please tap "Motions and gestures" and then on "Palm swipe to capture". Activate the function by activating the controller.
You can now immediately take screenshots on your Samsung Galaxy Note 4 by wiping with the edge of the hand from right to left across the screen or vice versa .
I wasn't holding it long enough. Thanks
