Wi-Fi problem - Huawei Ascend P6, Mate

Hi guys,
Any solution for this problem?
this message comes up quite often...

I haven't seen this since upgrading to any firmware version above 105. Used to plague me!
I did find that if I turned the Wi-Fi off before leaving the house, and only turned it on when I got home it wouldn't show this message. Presumably if the Wi-Fi was turned off before leaving the range of the current Wi-Fi source would have the same effect?
Still, if I were you, I'd try upgrading to the latest firmware (111 as of today).

Now I'm using b111 and the problem has gone
But it keeps the wifi drop
I read somewhere this is because of the b111.
anyone any solution?

[Q]wifi dropping

I Can't find a thread about this, so I was go ogling and that doesn't really help. I am having major problems with my wifi it keeps dropping non stop and it's really annoying. I have my phone stock but rooted and was wondering is there any way to fix this? I know it's a Samsung problem but if I were to load this up with a rom should that help? Thanks in advance

Maybe it's your router or better yet the router settings. Have you tried changing any of those settings?
Am I missing something? How is it a Samsung thing? What kind of router do you have?

After looking all night I found a thread that fixed this. You have two choices really to fix or buy your router which I'm not going to do, or you can type in on your dial pad *#0011#. Then you click your menu button, click on the wifi option, and then disable the energy saver wifi mode. That made it so my phone wouldn't drop wifi connection anymore. NOTE: each time you restart your phone you need to turn the wifi energy saver off through the command *#0011#. Hope I helped some of you because this bug is truly annoying.

That stinks. I don't have any problem and I think this is only the 2nd time I've seen anything posted like this about the S4 (the S3 did have that issue and was common). I've never turned off any energy saver and mine stays connected 100% of the time. So you're saying either that or you have to buy a new router? What kind do you have now and what settings on it did you find out that cause this issue for you?
Right now I have whatever Verizon gives fios customers. It works perfectly for all my phones, tablets, and computer. Just not on my s4 unless I do the dial pad trick. I'll post a link on the xda thread when I get home on how to fix your router. It really does make me angry that I paid 600 for the phone and it does this. Hopefully Samsung fixes this soon since they acknowledge the problem

Btw here's Samsung acknowledging the problem.

Do you have a dlink router?
GS4
My gf has an S4 and has the same problem. We have a Netgear WNDR3500. So it's not isolated to a D-Link. She also did the dial pad trick and it seems to work for her as well. Need to find a script to run on boot to set the power save to OFF.

Updates for GT-N5110 wifi in the uk. And strange freeze.

Hi.
As anyone got the 4.2.2 update yet for the WIFI version in the UK at all? I keep checking and it says i'm up to date on 4.1.2 also does anyone get that strange freeze up just for a second or 2 every now and then? If so can it be fixed? Anybody know what is the cause of it?
Many thanks.

Youtube wifi discoonecting and reconnecting

As the title says wifi basically randomly disconnects and reconnects quite frequently(~every 5 sec) only while using the youtube app. At one point i got it to stay connected but the problem returns. The moment i exit the app it returns to normal. Its only been a few days since i purchased it. Is anyone experiencing this? Also it happened once in the play store app but hasnt repeated itself.

Also I should mention that sometimes it fails to reconnect after disconnecting and under the WiFi options menu it says authentication error occurred

I am having the exact same problem. The Google play store gives me connection issues as well. I've tried connection to my router's two networks, the 2.4 the and the 5ghz. My tablet has trouble starting connected to withe one,and it's the only device in my home with that issue.
The problem seems to have resolved itself after a few days and a lot of reboots. Im not sure exactly what was causing it. Hope it works out for you. I know the frustration.

Dropping GPS Signal

Is anyone else having GPS issues since the 4.4.3 OTA. I use Endomondo Pro when I run and had no issues before the recent OTA. Just wondering if anyone else noticed this, the gps drops for 1km and then reconnect s but it messes up my workout slightly.

Not sure. Everything is great on my end. Have you done a factory reset? Seems to help most people after OTA's.

Anyone else with GPS problems in general?
I am having the same problem and with last update I feel that the issue is worst. I read post in other blogs that show the same problem and associate it with WIFi calling, but I donĀ“t have it on my M8 as I use an International Rom. Any idea how to solve it will be appreciated.

Wifi issue after 4.4.3 update

Hi, after 4.4.3 update i have a problem with my wifi, once enabled it is fast but after a while it becomes slow, very slow... Signal is at maximum but it keeps uploading and downloading in vain, i tried many options in the wifi advanced menu but it didn't work, i must switch wifi off/on to solve the problem.
I am on stock rooted rom, i am going to downgrade the firmware because it worked very well on last version, do you have any suggestions ?
Thx for your help.
PS : I tested with different routers.

How did you update, by OTA?
If not a "clean" install (wipe user data) I would suggest doing a factory reset. Random bugs after an OTA are often (although not always) caused by incompatibity with some pre-existing user data, and frequently resolved by wiping data.
Otherwise, downgrading firmware might help as you mentioned (as WiFi module is usually one of the firmware updates). Although this might cause other issues (slow boot, broken WiFi or Bluetooth).
First time i had the problem with ota update, then i did a factory reset and wiped everything issue persists.
I found on the Internet that nexus users have the same problem.
I think that downgrading the firmware is the only solution for me now but it is strange that i am the only one who is facing this issue on HTC M8.

I would not take a different phone having a similar issue to mean anything.
You haven't stated what version, CID, etc. you have. Each carrier version has its own software version, so possibly there is a bug in your carrier software/firmware. On the other hand, if its a common CID on here and other have not had the issue, then something else is going on.

That is probably the most common software version here. As it doesn't seem to be a widespread issue, I think something else is going on. Maybe try to re-install the OTA as maybe it was just a bad install? Or try a 2.22 based custom ROM to see if the problem persists? I'm just brainstorming a bit here.
I tested the Venom ROMs, with 1.8.0 and last firmware no problem, with 2.0 and 2.22 firmware i have the issue
Thx for your help anyway.

Thank you for your quick answer.
What do you mean by wifi repeater?
It takes the existing wifi and rebroadcasts it to have a better signal.
