TutoriallMessage (Graphical element for WP developers) - C, C++, C# and Other Windows Phone Development

Hi!
I do not know if this is the right section. I would like to make you get to know this TutorialMessage, a graphical element useful for developers that need to create quick tutorials for their users. Version 1.5 OpenSource!
Have fun!

this is pretty cool, I'll start using this once I get over to WP / Mobile development!

Thanks! But I noted some errors (sometimes small) while positioning TM. Could you have a look to the source code in order to correct that errors? There is also the demostration!

No idea to get it better, now that months are passed?
For now, I am bringing the source code to GitHub and the demostration to Google Documents!

I'm still considering my self as a noob. so even if my xda title said "senior member" thats doesn't change anything. I'm still having just a little knowledge about android.
count me as tester. I'll gladly wait till the project finished

Thanks for them.. Would you like to be an Information Finder? Because of all these things you have helped me a lot (Made my work from 58 to 52!) so I would have liked if you want to join.
And I don't mind whether someone has a tag "Junior Member" because I also had that once..

And I would like you to edit your comment and remove everything as I have all of them now.. There are many "official cheaters" here who take up something's and put them in a place where they don't belong and gain thanks for that..
But you deserve the thanks and I gave it to you
I believe this music app is also from MIUI. it doesn't have any "super feature" but its beautifull.

Don't worry. The 14 toggle status I was working on is now almost complete. Resizing is getting tooooo difficult as I am going through a lot of problems with Photoshop. Some pics go easily whereas some get distorted.
That problem is only with my PC... Dat is why I want more an more ppl.
EDIT - And you are in for tester,.

Need Java developer(s)/themer(s) for an app idea I have.

Hey guys.
What I need:
Developer(s), or anyone who knows Java, C++, etc
Themers
Its for an app I'm designing, but im stuck. I don't want to necessarily say what the app is (to avoid someone stealing my idea), but if you know anything about Java, C++, and/or theming... Please, message me.
Thanks.

Would you know how to link a process from an app to a button to cause an event?
I.e.
User clicks 'turn phone screenvoff after MMS is sent?'
Yes=turn off after message is sent
No=do not turn off screen
When the MMS is sent, the phone turns the screen off. How hard is that to do?
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda premium
Well, actually i don't know how to implement it because i don't know so much the android sdk nor its source code. After the first search on google i've found a post from stack overflow and i can tell it should be pretty simple, or at least shutting down the screen. For the sending of the mms part i think you need a listener or a notifying system (probably are already present), i need another research... Ok i've found it...
Definitively not so much hard... Sorry for my poor english..

No one (not me) meant you are forcing them, it's just that in these period our devs are doing their bests and they are having lots of problems. And Ubuntu looks hard to port :sly:

Ubuntu did say it should run on any phone with a 1ghz+ (stock speed) processor. So in theory it should but it's all up to the developers. we get the roms that they would want on their devices and that's exactly the way it should be.

Also because they aren't paid, they could keep the roms for themselves but they share with us to make us a favor

Hey every body calm down first yes Ubuntu is and will be difficult i would like to see it but it is far past my knowledge and as far as i know it may not be possible for u who didn't read up on it yes 1± processor is a requirement but they also say dual and no device under our ram will be able to soppurt Ubuntu so if it is possible I'm sure it will come. So until then cut people some slack and as ur momma's should of told u if u don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all
Sent from my One V using Xparent ICS Tapatalk 2
no, they said the ubuntu phone version that could also be used as a full desktop when mounted on the docking station which is connected to a tv/monitor. for only the phone os part you dont need dual core.

I want to make an app.... Where's the best place to start?

I know nothing about it, and am eager to learn. Where to start............?!?!
Thanks to anyone that can help! :good:
P.S- Sorry if this isn't the place to post this.

Also found this too: http://developer.android.com/training/basics/firstapp/index.html
+1 on learning java, then maybe some android SDKs, along with Eclipse software. You learn all this, your well on your way. Java will definitely take the longest to learn.
message brought to you by my GalaxyS3
Id like to have somebody createnan app for me.. an app that lets me access my employee mainframe at work.. we have access to it via WEB, but id like a custom app so that i dont have to goto the webpage and log in..and blah blah...and its a JAVA based page too..

You can go to googles Dev site and watch the countless tutorials on android development. Also YouTube has toms of mini series covering all aspects of a android development if you are a visual learner I would highly recommend watching these series. Try to find the newest set possible. ICS or newer as the api has changed drastically and so has the adtt plugin for eclipse. Also you can find the eBook beginning android development in PDF form its pretty good and is also based on ICS and newer. Between all that you should be able to pick it up.
