Bluetooth Mouse and Keyboard - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

With my verizon galaxy nexus running liquid smooth 2.9 and golden kernel.
I want to use a bluetooth keyboard and mouse.
They both pair but never connect? Am I missing a step? I can get other bluetooth devices to pair and connect.
Keyboard: Logitech - diNovo Edge
Mouse: hp bluetooth mouse x4000b
I read all about this MHL set up but so far no luck for me. MHL reboots phone, mouse and keyboard don't connect!
Any help or links to help would be great! Thanks.

[Q] Bluetooth HID: inverted/ laggy mouse

Hi,
I updated to 2.2 and it rocks. But i have problems using the Bluetooth HID.
The keyboard just works perfect, but the mouse bugs. The mouse is extrem over- sensible and if you go landscape the mouse-axis aren't inverted. Same effect using an RDP- client.
Suggestions how this problem can be fixed? (A mouse in an RDP- session would be so nice)
(Tested on Samsung Galxy S- it works perfect).
Greetings, Jo
Hi Jo,
I am interested in getting a bluetooth mouse working on my Defy (running CM7 on a recent nightly). I'd be very interested in your experience with getting a BT Mouse running as I also want to be able to run RDP and VNC Remote connections.
I have a Hama Bluetooth m2140 mouse. It works fine on my laptop and I have had it running on a couple of Android Tablets.
Am able to pair and connect the mouse. The first time I try, I even see a small mouse pointer appear on the screen, but it freezes after only a second. Very frustrating- so close and yet so far...
Has anyone had any success here? I would be grateful if someone could give me some tips on enabling debugging or on what logs I could check for errors.
Best Regards, Richard

Which Bluetooth Keyboard and mouse working on the Tab?

Hi Guys,
I tried apple magic mouse and apple wireless keyboard (old version with number pad) and they both are not working on my tab 10.1 wifi. So I want to know if any of you guys successfully using any bluetooth keyboards and mouse with the tab?
My brother has the new imac keyboards, well not really new but the ones that come with the macs, and it worked perfectly, I just had to set the keyboard on the tab to the samsung one and no issues. As for a mouse, I have no idea.
In my experience, the apple magic mouse connected to the tab, but no cursor appeared, nothing at all. And Apple wireless keyboard (older version with numpad) didn't even connect .
I tested the one without the number pad. Worked great. Try to get your hands on that one.
Anybody had any luck with a BT mouse?
I've been using the Microsoft Bluetooth Notebook Mouse 5000 with my LTE Tab for several weeks with no problems. It's not very sexy, but it's cheap and gets the job done well.
I've also used the Logitech Tab 10.1 Keyboard Case and the Microsoft Bluetooth Mobile Keyboard with no problems. The Logitech case is spendy, but the Android-specific keys are nice, and I doubt you will find a more compact Tab/keyboard pairing, if that's a concern (it is for me).
just tried my logisch dinovo edge it's a Bluetooth Keyboard with a touchpad on it, and it works great, mouse Cursor shows the instant i move it clicking also works! Keyboard input as well

I want this keyboard! I am just looking for the best place to get it from.
And by best place I mean the cheapest.
The apple bluetooth keyboard without the numeric block works great exept some special characters : on the german keyboard layout the @ normally is only accessible with Alt gr + a. This does not work on apples keypad. I read that this was a bug from the Galaxytab, because it works with other android tablets without a hassle.
Still looking for a solution.
Does anyone know if HP's Touchpad Bluetooth keyboard will work with Android? It's on sale now:

[Q] Did anybody use the bluetooth on a100 successfully?

I have a bluetooth mouse and have connected with my Iconia tab a100 already, but it doesn't work. There is no cursor on the screen. Also, there's no use moving the mouse.
I have tried the same mouse on another android cellphone and it worked.
How can I make it work on a100?
And have anyone tried it?
I have succeeded connecting a Logitech Dinovo keyboard /mousepad to my A100.
You have to pair the tablet to the mouse, then enter a code to connect them together.
I was able to pair my folding bluetooth keyboard (stowaway) w/ it. My problem is i use my tablets on my dashboard as my music source (also navigation, etc.) and it doesn't seem to find the bluetooth audio in my car - won't even show up in pairing mode.
If i can't get this to work, I'm definitely taking it back and getting a 7" Toshiba Thrive or the Galaxy Tab Plus when they come out.
My car tells me that my A100 has connected successfully...
I use a Sync system in a 2011 Ford Focus and use it for navigation and music and it pairs and works perfectly.
I used a bluetooth keyboard successfully but can't use the mouse, did anyone use the bluetooth mouse on a100 successfully?
Yes I do use a Logitech 470 that I have paired through Astro bluetooth from the Market and then the regular device's bluetooth program.

My tab connects fine to my Bluetooth keyboard for the HP touchpad.
Yes.. I was able to pair with my LG Esteem and send files via bluetooth...
tether?
Has anyone found a solution (3rd party spftwate or otherwise) that works for Bluetooth tethering to an iPhone? 3GS OS5 jailbroken and soon to be rooted iconia a100.
I use NC tether from the market to tether with my iPhone 4.

After seeing rEVOLVE's post, I remembered an old Stowaway Think Outside folding Bluetooth keyboard. It connected and seems to work fine with the A100, although I can't figure out how to use it for any special commands, such as Home, End, or such functions as going directly to the Calendar, Contacts, etc. Any help there would be appreciated.
It will not connect to my car stereo (Kenwood KDC-695).
With my phone (T-Mobile G2x), it will pair but do nothing else. (The phone reports, "paired but not connected" and won't connect.)
Other than the keyboard, I haven't found any other use for the Bluetooth on this device. I'm wondering if rooting it or some other program would help.
I have used it to connect to bluetooth speakers, headset, car, and tethering. I do not have a bluetooth keyboard to test.

[Q] Issues using both Bluetooth keyboard and mouse

I have both a new Thinkpad Bluetooth mouse and a new Amazon Basics Bluetooth keyboard. If I try and pair both of them to my Galaxy Nexus, I end up getting dropouts and duplicates on the keyboard. Disconnect the mouse, and keyboard is perfect.
The pair (Keyboard and Mouse) work perfectly when linked to my laptop.
Anyone else tried using both bluetooth mouse and keyboard ?
Any suggestions ?

Hi:
You might start with this article:

After reading many reports, Paul from Google had the following response on 8/19: "Thanks for the feedback about Bluetooth keyboard compatibility with your new Nexus 7 tablets. We're looking into it." Nothing from Paul since.
About half of the keyboards don't connect at all while the other half suffer repeated keystrokes, gibberish, non-functional with wireless etc. Choose your favorite incompatibility:

Google is telling people to buy BT 3.0 compliant keyboards but you should note that several BT 3.0 keyboards don't work with 4.3.
As for other options, I wouldn't believe that any BT devices are compatible with 4.3 unless I see it for my own eyes or have someone I trust verify.
On that note, I got a Perixx 804 Bluetooth Keyboard today and confirm that it works with the Nexus 7 2012 and Nexus 7 2013 running 4.3. It pairs, types without repeated keystrokes, works with wifi 2.4 and 5.0 etc.

It's thin and light but not foldable. It works which makes it a rare-bird indeed.
An old Zen Koan: If Google says they're looking into it, is there anyone in the forest?

If you need a bluetooth keyboard that works with the 2013 Nexus 7.. I have the Logitech K810 and it works.. Just a heads up. Its rechargeable and it's backlit and can pair with 3 devices... Hope that helps someone..
I can no longer pair/connect with Britelink Bluetooth Audio Receiver
Seems like issue isn't just related to keyboards or nexus, etc.
Using Cyanogendmod 10.2, android 4.3 on Samsung galaxy s3 with broken bluetooth functionality.
