Thanks for download. Later i'll publish the new version with a graph with battery usage and probably the translation.
However, it's simple. This application shows some battery informations: battery level, temperature, state(if you're device is on charging or not, if the device is connected via usb, the battery technology and the voltage. On the "advanced" panel, you can enter in battery informations of android clicking the little graph image on the bottom left, or enable a "save battery mode" clicking on the toggle in the bottom right.this modality is simple; when the battery goes in battery low, generally about 15% but depends from the device, if you have Wi-Fi or data connections active the application stops both our what is enabled to save a little bit battery. If you have problem tell me.

The application does the following:
1. When your phone receives a notification, it switches the screen on and displays a notification. The notification bounces around every 3 seconds. This will guarantee using different LEDs so that the same ones won't be burned out.
2. You can customize whether to have a dot or an icon for each type of supported notification. Users may also customize the colors of these icons/dots.
3. NoLED will work with SMS/MMS, Gtalk, Gmail, Missed calls, Voicemail, Calendar and K-9 (email client) without any additional permissions. Any other 3rd party software (e.g. Whatsapp, Email app, Yahoo Mail and Hotmail) will need to be checked under Monitored Apps and will require granting Accessibility rights to NoLED.
4. The app runs as a service, after installing, you have two ways to activate the app. (a) by restarting. (b) by loading the widget into your home screen and clicking on it.
5. To get rid of the notification screen, you may use the home or the back key. You can enable dismissal via more keys in the Miscellaneous submenu. Once your notifications are dismissed, all notifications disappear and will not come back up.
I have also logged the touch drivers and saw that although I'm displaying a black screen and setting flags to not respond to touch messages, android is still receiving touch messages when you touch any spot on the screen. This, I imagine, consumes resources! So I disabled the touch drivers when the black screen is active. Dismissing the notifications should reactive the touch drivers. If your screen is unresponsive to touch even after the notification screen is dismissed, a simple restart should take care of it. There is also an option to completely disable that feature. The touch drivers are only disabled on the Samsung Galaxy S variants, all other devices are still receptive to touch events.
Now the touchscreen drivers were a lot easier to mess around with. The sourcecode given by samsung helped me achieve the activation/deactivation of the screen. Things are not the same with the capacitive buttons. You'll notice that when the black screen is on, if you touch any of the soft buttons, they'll light up (although am suppressing them programatically). On some other devices like the Nexus S, these backlights cannot be switched off once the screen is turned on programatically. This is a bug from Google and more info is in the FAQ.

When I used NoLED with the NS it was kind of tough on the battery. That being said, this version has been updated from the one I used so really there is only one way to find out.
I've been using NoLED since I got my s2 nearly 2 months ago. I've never had a problem and my battery life is fine, usually over 50% after a full days usage (which for me is moderate). Love it!
BTW I run cognition ROM so that helps with the battery life.

This will cost alot of your battery. If you receive a message and noled stay on like for 1 hour, i believe you lose more then 10% per hour.
I'll will turn my screen on from time to time, thats much better for the battery

Correct, it drains like crazy. Only way to minimize the drain is to check the phone what message/call you just missed soon after it occured. When you leave it with a NoLED notification active there's a lot of drain.
So it's only handy for people who check their phones regularly.
Been using NoLED for a long time as well. Haven't noticed any excessive drain. Using official KF3 (NEE) and it lasts for two days easily with my standard use and NoLED active.
I've used NoLED on my previous phone (Samsung Galaxy Spica), and I did notice extra battery drain.
For me this is not really an alternative to BLN. OK, it does show notifications when your screen would normally be off, but NoLED still activates the whole screen, whereas BLN only lights up the 'buttons' below the screen. Somehow this has to be more energy consuming.

[FIX][ROOT] Disable Fast dormancy on sony smarthphones

COMPLETELY DISABLE FAST DORMANCY ON XPERIAs
fast dormancy should be a battery-saving feature of UMTS networks.
TESTED PHONES:
Acro S (thanks barmakinfo)
Ion
S
T (thanks icstm)
TL (thanks bsined)
TX
V (thanks carloskar)
Z1 (thanks danielalarcon)
Z1 Compact (thanks Gregz78)
¡Your phone must be rooted to edit system files!
Instructions
First of all, you'll need to know your carrier MCC and MNC. You can found these on wikipedia or in your APN settings
Navigate and open ./etc/fast-dormancy/fd_custm_conf.txt
You'll see two lines ending with MCC and MNC and two zeros
Change those zeros with the codes you look earlier and save
Reboot and enjoy
FAQ
What is fast dormancy and why should I bother?
Fast dormancy is a GSM feature which makes switching to sleep state faster
It seems a nice thing, where should I opt-in?
You are already in! Every recent phone supports this specification and sometimes it could really extend your battery life
So, what's all this bothering?
Well, the fact is that even though phones are usually perfect from this perspective.. unfortunately carriers are not. Some support this, other doesn't.
And wrong combinations can be battery killing. See the chart
OMG, I want my sleep mode back !11
Before doing anything, we must be sure you are affected by the problem. Asking directly to your carrier could be a nice thing. But sometimes this couldn't even be enough, since everything depends upon the antenna you are actually connected to.
So, how in the world could I check if I'm affected by the problem? :\
A first usual sign of the issue would be high "Android OS" battery usage and/or lots of com.sonyericsson.android.wakeup wakelocks.
Another quick testing method would be to simply use the fix for a few days and then revert your changes back if you find them unsatisfactory
I'm screwed! My phone isn't in the list or I can't find those files!
You had better first checking if the /etc/fast-dormancy/ folder is there and try. If not, check karkand's twin thread (be warned, potential brick inside)
Is this really worth the hassle?
D E F I N I T I V E L Y. Battery can last up to 30% longer after applying this fix! (admitted you had this problem before).
Im gonna try it
But what exactly am i fixing/doing?
mirhl said:
prologue: a week ago i updated to stock jelly bean and i noticed soon noticed LOTS of com.sonyericsson.android.wakeup wakelocks (something like 2900 in half a day)
this is due to my carrier to have not enabled fast dormancy on their antennas
i first tried to freeze fastdormancy app, but this led only to a little lower wakelocks count (the problem was still there)
so, after some invastigation here and there i finally found a solution:
1 - First of all, you'll need to know your carrier MCC and MNC. You can found these on wikipedia or in your APN configuration
2 - Then navigate and open /etc/fast-dormancy/fd_custm_conf.txt
3 - you'll see two lines ending with MCC and MNC and two zeros
4 - Change those zeros to that you look earlier and save
5 - Reboot and enjoy
this worked flawlessly on my xperia S. i'm quite sure it will work on xperia ion and acro too
and i'm confident that it should work even on others models (judging from)
let me know if it works on custom rom too!

Fast dormancy is a umts feature that SHOULD improve a bit data battery usage
But this has to be supported both from your carrier and from your phone
If one of these two doesn't support fdm (but the other does) you'll have an extreme battery drain (which you can see in a logcat or in the allarm tab of betterbatterystats)
If both parts has this support this fix could even led to an heavier battery drain
I have posted this guide because i read A LOT about this.. but all that i could find regarded only samsung and lg phones..

Anyway, i don't notice any more alarm ring from com.sonyericsson.android.wakeup (and i think this should be sufficient to solve the issue)

E98x LP Battery issues Potentially resolved

Hi All I am Posting my results, I need a few ppl who could help and see if this is going to help everyone or only me
And to the critics, I will be doing a screen on time (SOT, ppl are asking and not getting answered) test, I am as eager to fix this so if you would like me to run anything while the screen is on, please let me know
An hour ago i put brightness at 100 while battery was at 50% been browsing the net with chrome using mobile data and it dropped to about 10%. Much less heat than expected although brightness was limited to 84 at some point. Will do a 50 brightness test tomorrow from full charge but wont be touching the phone much
Steps to Follow to give me info
Hi Guys,
Had a bit of time, this is the info I need, hopefully I will get responses from a view e98x variants, even other LGs would be great but please specify the details of your phone.
Download Battery Doctor from the Play Store google dot com/store/apps/details?id=com.ijinshan.kbatterydoctor_en&hl=en
Get it running , opened, etc and then look at the app usage info (scroll down) for the last 24 hours (seen in screenshot attached)
When opened please send me the screenshot or the the list of draining APPS, I have hidden my top drainer that consumed 98% of my battery in the other attached screenshot. At the time of my screenshot I have not uploaded, it has used 34% of my battery and has been disabed for 19 hours. I cannot yet suggest the name or anyone to do anything with the service yet as I am still attempting to find out what breaks (so far nothing.)
I will send battery updates as far as I can.
Another Test
So the next thing I have done is charge full again, set the brightness to 50% and played Hearthstone for 3 Hours, I am personally pleased with the results as i could not achieve 3 Hours with the Phone before.
i get 3.5-4.5 hours screen from 100%
with [ROM][5.0.2]STOCK LOLLIPOP G.PRO V1.5 of bountyman334
with few modification mostly removing system apps
hello
Can you explain me what should I do to improve the battery life?
I never could have more than two hours of charge with brightness set to 100%.
sorry for my bad english

I would Highly recommend 30 - 60% brightness, anything more seems to not have a major impact on brightness, it just reduces battery life and cause heat, which reduces the maximum charge of the battery in future

yes, battery is draining faster than in KK. and sometimes, when I want to unlock the lockscreeen, heavy lag happens and i need to wait until the phone become stable again. i think there's an issue with clock frequency management. however i can't complain about heating since i don't do gaming, only for browsing and heavy instant messaging.
