[ROM][toro][4.4.2][SABERMOD 4.7/4.8]CM 11.0 Unofficial Builds - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

This thread is dedicated to my CM11.0 builds that will be built whenever I get around to it which will be at least weekly.
When I build it, it's always synced to the latest CM source along with a few additional cherry picks that either add functionality or are bug fixes/improvements.
Download ROM
There are several gapps packages floating around. Since there are none at http://goo.im/gapps for Kitkat, I use these:
http://www.androidfilehost.com/?a=show&w=files&flid=10306
As of the 12/18 buid, ART works with Banks' Gapps listed above.

I don't know. I didn't include any special fixes. Can you link a source for this fix?

If it's synced from the latest repos, I'd imagine it's included.

I believe you're right. Guess it hasn't been merged yet. fitsnugly must have cherry picked it for his CM builds.

Nope. I don't have it yet.

http://review.cyanogenmod.org/#/q/status:merged,n,z
It's been merged.

So theoretically MMS should work fine?

MMS fix was just merged today not that long ago

Thank you tiny, love your 4.2.2 in my main driver and can't wait to try this one

The MMS fix wasn't merged as of the time I built earlier today so the initial build doesn't have the fix. The next build will have the fix though.

The tuna kernel doesn't seem to play nicely with the Sabermod toolchain. Whether I compile CM's or mine with the toolchain, it always reboots right when it's about to finish booting the ROM.

Maybe you could apply this fix to your ROM? I flashed it on a different ROM and it fixed MMS along with other framework issues

Scroll down a little and you'll see non flashable and flashsble zip

As soon as I flash a kernel again the reboots stop. Are you able to flash the ROM without flashing the kernel afterwards and boot fine?

I'm not running this ROM right now, waiting to get home for WiFi to download.
I was just suggesting a fix for MMS problems.

Installed this last night, been playing with it all morning.
No problems so far... performs just as well as Tiny's 4.2.2 ROM. In other words, I love it.

Flashing without a different kernel causes a bootloop to the CM account setup screen. Flashing with your kernel works fine.

Yep. I'm going to switch kernel toolchains. Do people want CM's kernel or mine built in?

[Q] 3.0 Kernel

Is there a 3.0 Kernel for the droid inc, 2.x.x.x.x is just not working.
And aokp doesn't even boot up...
There are no 3.0 kernels that I'm aware of. I can tell you now that the kernels being on 2.6 is not the problem. If you're running the wrong kernel for the ROM it won't boot or will boot but not run properly. What ROM or ROMs have you tried and what kernels have you run with them? What is the build date on the kernels? (incredikernel has the build date in the zip file).
Also you can try flashing the ROM without a kernel - it would use the included kernel in this case - and that should boot. Not working or not booting is not specific enough as it doesn't indicate what you tried flashing.

Later aokp builds had issues booting. I cant remember the last build that did. Which one did you try? If you look in the aokp thread there's a fix to get the later ones to boot. Also note that aokp is no longer supported by the aokp team for the inc.

[ROM][NIGHTLIES] Unofficial AOKP Nightlies/Dailies [4.1.2]

THE ISSUES WITH THE NIGHTLIES/DAILIES NOT BEEN BOOTING HAS BEEN FIXED! THESE NIGHTLIES/DAILIES WORK PERFECTLY NOW!
Hey guys. I recently decided to do something to pass the time until I get my Nexus 4, in 13 days, as of today. I went with compiling a few AOKP nightlies, since I had a buildbot on my hands with nothing to do with it, haha. Before you guys go off on me saying there won't be any more changes because AOKP isn't doing any more builds until 4.2 gets published to the AOSP source tree, let me tell you this doesn't mean that they won't be making changes and adding features everyday to the source code. It just means no more builds. So, with these nightlies/dailies, you'll get all the newest features and bugfixes on the day they get pushed to the source code of AOKP. I will NOT be providing changelogs at this time, because I'm busy enough with school and homework, and don't want to add flashing a ROM everyday and sifting through the changes to create a log for you guys to it. Also, PLEASE REPORT YOUR EXPERIENCES IN THE THREAD. Anyways, without further ado, here you go.

It is regular AOKP, just compiled from source everyday, so all the new features and bugfixes released in the AOKP source everyday are implemented.

Sorry about taking so long with the new build. I had to redownload the entire 10gb source code. Starting build now.
I've only gotten one report of this ROM not booting. Someone else who flashed this please give me some feedback here.

I'll try. I'm currently having issues with the buildbot. Brunch isn't working correctly, and I can't compile without kernel source without it. I don't even know if the issue that guy is having is a legit issue, since nobody is giving me feedback when it has 25 downloads.

[ROM] Glitter 4.2.2 JDQ39E Linaro 4.7.3 Toolchain

This is just an extremely clean build based off of the Latest AOSP release. It's compiled with linaro. The only real differences from stock AOSP are that I added the embedded superuser. I figure that Android is such a good base to build other things off so of why not leave it be.
http://www.mediafire.com/?d5zo8s1g6ltm2bd
ill give it a run i been looking for a clean rooted stock with the superuser in the settings lol oddly enough no joke thankx

BAHAHAHA, yeah I usually flash CM or AOKP for a week and then say screw it I just want to go back to AOSP. Once I get back to my computer this week it'll probably be rebased on Master. It's not a complicated thing. Simply AOSP builds with LatinIMEGoogle being the only difference. ThinkFree is in there too I believe.

I don't have a GSM so I'm a little scurred about building for something that I can't test out myself. Sometime this week I'll have a ROM that's built off of the Master repo and I'll get the Maguro Proprietaries and build that if you'd like.
I may just build once and provide a flashable to add the CDMA or GSM Proprietary files depending on what the person needs.

[ROM] [JSS15J] CM 10.2 unofficial [BLE working]

CM UnOfficial Nightlies
This is a take over from Carlos_Manuel who has been building CM 10.2 since release. I am just here to sync CM's source code and build it, Although if I can help I will or other users will help so please ask any question you like.
and I encourage open chat about roms / kernels etc as we all learn more that way, but please be respectful of others and remember it's easy to take something the wrong way when your comunicating with so many different languages/cultures so please keep it clean and have fun.
Cheers
Steve
I'm not responsible for anything (unless it's a positive), you flash at your own risk.
MAGURO ONLY
Changelog
due to there not being an official cm release yet, there is no official changelog.
I do not know what changes between my builds as lot's of devs merge commits at any time.
all i do is sync nightly and build if the source allows me to
so sorry no changelog.
Root info
after clean flash you need to activate root access (do not flash any other su as cm has built in superSU)
go into settings/about phone and tap build number 7 times (this activates developer options)
then go into settings/developer options/root access and select or toggle off/on "apps and adb"
now you should have working root
Wipe info:
if coming from a 4.2 based rom then do a dirty flash first time. (no wipes) then after full boot, reboot into recovery and factory reset, then reflash the rom and gapps a second time. (let me know if you have bootloops as this should stop them).
if coming from another 4.3 based rom clean wipe
if coming from previous build then dirty flash unless I state otherwise.
Download info:
Download the rom from the link below and place on sdcard.
Download a 4.3 Gapps package and place on sdcard
Do appropriate wipe (see above).
Flash rom.
Flash gapps.
Reboot

For kernel devs I've uploaded the stock ND8 source to github for ease of cloning.
Branch master (should link you to that one anyway)

Check branch stock_modded for random goodies like disabling selinux in the kernel and removing some attempts by samsung to prevent root.
