Only this g that appears to be wonky is hybrid settings, but other than that everything seams to be in working order. Of course it is 7 am for me so I can't know yet if the notification light is working and I don't use Bluetooth so someone else is going to have to report in on that. Camera works at 13 mega pixels though.
Everything seems to work same as cm 10.1 even the slight stutter in the transition animation on the home screen when in landscape. Notification light works, camera works fine. Sick ROM.

Just installed and totally loving it so far thanks so much! I concur the camera is not working but so far that's it. Still trying to figure out the UI I haven't messed with custom ROMS since my HOX+ a little while ago lol :silly::good:

No it's for changing size layout of the UI to make stuff fit and look better. There's a phone, phablet, and tablet option. The keyboard in landscape works just fine.
Don't know what happened after flashing and you reboot how long does it take to boot up and is there any lights on at all

what happened? my only issue was I had a older version of CWM I kept getting status 7 error so rebooted recovery it updated and was able to install after. this ROM is smoooooth

mine took a few minutes... had me worried at first but then it fired right up. you remember to flash gapps?
Great ROM ...no problems at all... smooth... nothing force closing...just no IR but I'm fine with that . thanks again

The OP says if Camera doesn't work to change system language to English. But everything is set to English, so I have no idea.

I don't think that's the right case. The holes in the back look wrong. The i9300 has 3 holes next to each other (flash, camera, speaker).

I don't think a script will fix it ... It gotta be fixed at the API level ... I know where to go but Idk how edit ...

But that's crazy though, because the International LGOG has a 13mp camera and it works on their AOSP roms perfectly

Have u tried fix permissions? I have ran the build on cm 10.2 and have gone through the settings but I don't believe I tried the live effects ... Idc for them ...

Flash the r8-1.zip from the op and flash the devil kernel from above as well as our current modem.

Apparently it fixes all issues that the previos kernel versions had (auto rotate, camera, etc.) I am gonna try to see if air command works with it and ill report back.
EDIT: flashed newest kernel and air command on r8-1 got a bunch of force closes and had to reflash.

Yep works like a charm. Also a full wipe including internal sd fixed camera. Now I can start working on my s4 theme so I'll be ahead of the curve when we get our official update

I tried this and it comes up that it cannot find a network as I can only connect to HSPA AWS on Wind in Canada, I am guessing there is no other fix right now?
Im with wind mobile as well as after flashing the rom and modem I get the same signal as always. Now heres my prob, I flashed the rom then the moden, rebooted and everything was fine. I then installed the devil kernel and the update and now Im getting force closes. Rebooted and wiped all and still the same thing.
Did I mess something up here?
I remember now why i don't post things here. If you want updates you'll know where to find me.

BTW... any more info on where the download comes from or instructions for T889 installs... im sire im not the only one who is hesitant to install anything where the post only offers a straight DL link... (especially one that is claiming the equivalent of a CM KitKat port for our device, basically out of nowhere)

But I don't like the camera as with the 4.3 ROM I was using when recording video you could Pause the recording then go right back to recoding this ROM does not have that option. Is there any way to get that camera for this ROM. also from what I understand with 4.4 when someone calls you and they are not in your contact list the phone is suppose to do a quick Google search to try and find the callers info for you kind of like T-Mobile Name I'd but this ROM does not do that. Other then that this ROM works great. But I probably will not use because of the camera I want the Pause option

The dialer only does that on the Nexus 5. The AOSP dialer don't.

I heard that was a feature to be rolled out later on... Are you saying this rom does not have 4.4 dialer?

Not everything on the Nexus 5 will be in KitKat. In fact a lot of the n5's features are only on the n5. This is aosp and is slightly different with all OPEN SOURCE applications. I suggest you try the paranoid android full gapps package. They updated it today.

It has the 4.4 dialer, but not that feature. That feature is exclusive to the Nexus 5. Not AOSP.

I posted in general because it's a straight CM build. I didn't want credit for something I didn't code. All I did was compile it. I also didn't want to maintain a thread in Development. I posted only to share my personal builds since not everyone knows where I normally post them. Anyways, I'm off to go be a cry baby. Later
