OK, a little tongue in cheek here.
Below is the case that I have used since getting my N7 at Best buy on their accelerated launch day. I was in Vegas on business, took a cab over to the closest Best Buy (shout out to the guys there on Maryland Parkway). Was fairly disappointed like a lot of us that there were no cases available. Got back to the MGM Grand hotel and spied my "case"; a hotel hand towel! :laugh:
Been using it ever since, certainly is a conversation starter!
Still waiting on the "in stock" http://dx-box.com/myriann-ultra-slim-smart-shell-stand-case-for-google-nexus-7-fhd-2013-2nd-gen.html from DX-Box. Different story, been almost a month.

Cool case. There were lots of $.01 sales of N7 cases so I have several. Each their own. I use my portenzo the most.

Couldn't you just drill/dremel a hole up there, or does the battery extend that far?

yea i emailed them also awhile back, they sent me a email showing there other products of on the go charging which werent cases

I personally think that lazy or rushed design like that shouldn't be rewarded with my money and then after sale labor to bring it up to nominal working order.

I went to best buy to exchanged my Sammy tab 3 for this. Love pure Google aosp. I was very disappointed best buy doesn't have cover cases for it yet. Never owned first generation nexus.
Now here the question after searching on eBay and amazon.
The nexus 7 2, will it able to fit right into first generation case? I don't want to buy first generation case online that doesn't fit 2 gen device. Will this do?

There are some out now I've ordered two inexpensive ones until some quality ones surface.
Found a vendor on amazon selling the white version.

Other member reviewed that the tablet doesn't even fit in.
I'm sure its a nice case but I think its a little pricey.

For an offical case it's not pricey. Take the flip cover for the note 8. It's 50 dollars. Every offical case out there is double what the aftermarket ones are. If not more. I'm buying because it's the offical case so I'm already expecting a premium.

I just found out this case doesn't support auto wake/sleep feature
I mean come on Asus!!! for a $40 case you couldn't add a piece of magnet!!!
This case and the travel case are both just big fails. Although I don't mind getting ripped off on OIM cases but at least I want to get a "premium" case.

They dont have the patent on that feature, therefore they can not use it without a hefty lawsuit from apple

Also said in stock. They had just three order status' with me; pending, processing and complete. Complete means they shipped. That was 5 days ago.

Was just browsing for a wireless charger and i have just noticed all official cases for the nexus 5 are 25 percent off on the uk website dont know if its worldwide. But tbh the google shipping cost is still putting me off unless im getting more than one for two things. Just wondering if anyone interesting in OEM cases could it might sound attractive to a few .

i have a red cruizerlite in the post so i dont know if its worth getting a yellow or white case instead. but i hear the red is more orange.
I forgot to mention the quicker cover cases are on offer too

I have black one for almost 4 weeks and is still in perfect condition, no peeling or whatsoever. I hope it stay that way. Ordered just before new year.
