The ProBAM KitKat update from Google contains a lot of other minor changes, apart from the huge jump in camera performance.
Below is a quick list of all the changes that Google has included in Android 4.4.x KitKat features for all the devices -:
There are a lot of small bug-fixes and minor UI tweaks that should please Nexus users.
The Camera app has sped up considerably post the update.
There are some bug-fixes related to ART as well. This allows Whatsapp to work with the ART runtime.
The default email client not syncing with an exchange server bug has also been fixed.
Immersive mode breaking while adjusting the volume level bug has been fixed.
The new ‘Photos’ app is now the default Gallery app.
There is a slight improvement in benchmark performance .
The navigation bar is now transparent on the lock screen.
The Settings icon in Quick tiles has also been changed.

Installation instructions so If installing for the first time:
To install this ROM you will need to have an unlocked bootloader and a custom Recovery such as TWRP or ClockWorkMod installed
Copy the downloaded ProBAM to your phone.
update recovery, is required for install android kitkat click here
Boot into your recovery
Back up your ROM
Enter recovery
Make full wipe "included "system"
[*] Select Recommended kernel for first install
Install the ROM
[*] install GAPPS package
Reboot - the first boot can take up to 2 minutes
Recommended to Reboot again after ROM is up for the first time

Its a bad ass smooth fast rom, been running it since a few builds back. One of the best I ran in a Long time!

Hmm is everyone's hybrid settings working specifically status bar and icon color? My status bar won't turn transparent and my icons color will not change. Also does anyone recommend a way to effectively fix permissions?

I forgot to mention i have rogers note 2
So far, this is ridiculous. I've tried every 4.3 ROM available and I'm pretty blown away. Everything I have tried is working perfectly at this point.
I'll run it through the ropes over the next few days, but this thing flat out rocks! :highfive:

I have no GPS at all. Doesn't lock. Tried resetting with GPS test, etc. and still no locks at all. Anyone else seeing this? Also slide on default keyboard traces but no text.

Got GPS back. had to uncheck everything, reboot, recheck everything, then update AGPS settings. GPS locked fast
Android Keyboard still not swiping. Google keyboard works just fine

To start off... i am in no way responsible if your phone explodes when flashing this file... So since the leak and port of 4.1(jellybean) to our beloved VZW nexus, I have been running and testing every combination of ROM/ kernel released. This ROM is my interpretation of an all in one fix for the problems everyone has been experiencing, GPS, boot loop, WiFi, etc... This ROM is definitely not for everyone, as I have addressed all the issues in experiencing a fully functional 4.1 operating system, I have also personalized it to MY liking in doing so. Lol. My deepest apologies in advance if you do give my ROM a shot and flash it, then want to punch me in the face for waisting your time. I will also note that I have included the latest build of faux's kernel (build 17), some people will not even attempt to flash this rom after stating that but OK here we go...

Questions on ROM
1st I Thank You for your work.
On first install over TR4NSCEND ROM (that has a great file manager, better than astro - wish I knew the name) strange things happened! Cleared all before the install etc. The program started fine, great new boot screen! But the screen was at full (max size) lack of better words, with no way to go back to - no home keys (search-back-home-widgets-were not there? Had to shut down, and and reinstall. Now seems fine.
1. Best GPS in all that I have tried-actually got to work.
2. Says 2 themes - how do you change?
3. Explain how to use your Wifi / tether I usually install a apk to do that.
4. Battery seemed to fall fast from 100% to 36% in about an hour, however I was doing many installs etc and making the phone the way I like.
5. LauncherPro is my favorite and seems to work fine with the ROM.
6. YPlayer works great for all videos with the ROM.
Great work and seems to work the best for me so far.

Only one theme... its just called ICS vs. Black... as for the Nav bar and status bar pulldown.. wtf! Lol. Thats why I didn't release yesterday... thought I fixed it... just enable wifi/hotspot under setting.. it is built into the rom...

A: Guess what, you messed up. Use TWRP wipe system, and do a factory reset.
Then flash the ROM and Gapps listed in the OP and wipe cache/dalvik. Do not restore stuff with TB.
Q: How can I make my phone look like the OP images!?
A: Easy, in jellybeer settings, set the DPI to 213 and the uimode to tablet.
Q: The status bar is tiny! WTF!?
A: Remove SystemUI from the 213 DPI group.
Q: How's the battery life in this ROM!?
A: Awesome of course.
Q: Can I flash a different kernel!? I NEED to over clock!
A: Right now no, the kernel options we have are stock based
not AOSP based so DO NOT FLASH THEM.
Q: Oh man wtf!? Where are all the SPen apps!?
A: You need touchwiz for that, stay on a stock ROM. Use papyrus if you
just want to use the SPen for notes. CM also has a few SPen gestures.

Calls work right away and the camera is perfect.
This of course all because of madmack!

I tried to install on the T-Mobile GN2 and it looks like it has a device check in the updater-script that causes it to fail. Not sure if that's the same thing that happened to the other user or not but that's what I got.

Does this ROM have 64gb microsd ex fat support if I can't flash other kernels?
This ROM is perfect..just like before when you made it..nothing is broken on this ROM...for the people that don't have a lot if experience with cm.....
Remember you can download cm/aokp themes in market or thru xda..and install them in settings/ theme section..and disregard what it says and install it anyways...it will work....

I got an updater script failure. I am currently running CWM, so I'll try TWRP since it's suggested.
Does everyone else have to enable LTE manually by selected the right APN? Also manually changing the preferred network type to LTE/GSM auto (PRL) in the *#*#4636#*#* menu every boot?

2. MultiWindow
This feature is the feature of Omni Rom that we had so much trouble due to the crashes with Halo...
But this is completely fixed, and works normally with no crashes.
How to use MultiWindow : Launch an app at first, and press 'Add to Spilt View' button on multitasking window by long press the thumnail image of the other app you want.
(Halo can't be worked when Multiwindow is implemented.) (Embodied by Jongwoo Kim)
3. Recent App Lock
We don't know where this feature was embodied first, but we picked from Dokdo Rom due to clear sources. The locked apps won't exited though the clear button is pressed. (Embodied by Wontae Choi)
4. Change Recent UI
The UI of Dokdo Rom is same with the original concept of our team, so we did cherry-pick the ui from Dokdo Rom and re-created for our own style. (Embodied by Wontae Choi)
5. Overscroll

hey bro what about bettery life is same cm11 ? it cm base or aosp can you bost bettery life screen shot i get 4 hour screen on + 1 day all wifi on with askp kernel in cm11 but in paranoid rom i got 2 hour with 14 hour wifi on all time with askp kernel too
I would like to get answers for some questions:
1, How is the battery life compared to cm11/omnimetal/liquidsmooth?
2. What gapps package shall I flash or i have to flash just the rom alone?
3. What kernel is good to be used on this rom - stock or dirty v?

It would be great if you appoint a person especially for making threads because from the features of this ROM it looks cool but it needs some buffering and making a nice logo+ a great looking thread is exactly what you need

Hey,
The UI is very fast and smooth.
Meanwhile i am experimenting with Gapps.
Defaulft language is English. Dont worry about that guys. I love it at the first look, not many features as on other remix ROM, but it's fine. It's CM based but Theme Enegine is put off. So pity!

I thought i was crazy. but i reformatted twice. anybody getting the same notification over and over again . I mean i pick a different sound for a ring tone and notification and its the same sound no matter what i pic. Anybody having this issue. And yes Lock screen updates please.

Lock screen notifications are back on 04/03 nightly and I'm not having any notification issues.maybe that app that is notifying?

On 4/15 and 4/16 it wouldn't apply themes for me but I had just done a dirty flash

I had it on 4/21 but it actually wasn't having data drops, just signal display issues, I did a clean install and it fixed it, do you know where the option to make the system apps black?

This project has been way too long in the making and this is version 1. This is a wip.
That being said the goal was for me to create a rom that is fast as hell and very stable for myself to use as my daily driver. I believe I have done just that. For that reason I have decided to share my project with the community. Please note that this rom is themed by default. I will not be making or releasing a stock look version. However at this point I have only themed about 25% of the rom! Future updates will include more theming.
I have added a good amount of features and slightly debloated. If you are looking for a rom with tons of crazy features I recommend Tweaked!

Instructions:
Full wipe is required!
Please be sure you are using the latest and stable recovery!!!
Download rom, verify md5 and place on your device
reboot recovery and select Wipe option!
Then if using twrp hit advanced and select wipe system
