Hey!
I wonder if there's any sound booster mod for cm10.2 since the notes audio is just horrible low on my headphones. I'm using the sony ps3 pulse headset and it needs a bit higher volume on the phone for the bass to really kick in.

Ah i got it working but it didn't boost anything but it did some awesome surround but not enough =/

why dont you try custom rom cm11 by TC ?
they have built in equalizer, which has good quality and efficient (low) power usage

DSP Manager is ok. But after you try out ViPER4Android, I believe you'd remove DSP Manager quickly. There are other audio mods as well, but V4A is all I need.
Do you also notice improvement without using earphones with the ViPER4Android ? For me getting better ringtone sound is enough

When I play music via phone speaker, there is a difference in the volume when you have V4A on vs having it off (depending in the setting in V4A of course).
If I remember right, V4A also works for system sounds aside from the music player, so I assume that this applies to ringtone sounds as well..

I am NEWBIE and recently i saw your last thread...some are complaining about sound quality..and i am trying to solve this..
First Go to Setting=>Sound=>and Disable Clear Phase,xloud and force surround 3D.
Then Download This Attachment"ViPER4Android".
Then Extract it and copy or replace with your ViPER4Android folder.

Open ViPER4Android FX=>Load Effect Profile=>Select louder.(Remember one thing,This setting is only for your phone speaker)
(Enable XperiaBass,Xperia ClearBass for Headset/Headphone)
Open ViPER4Android FX=>Go to Headset=>Load Effect Profile=>Select Xperiabass=>Apply Profile=Headset.
Now Open UI setting in ViPER4Android FX Menu..Then select Moderate (Preference)
Then Again Go to Headset mode..now you see "Convolver" Option.Enable it and Select Impulse Response=>Select "FREE XPERIA S.Enhance Rev2 Clear bass" ((Remember one thing,This setting is only for your Headset/Headphone)(Headset settings are Greatly work with your original canvas 4 Headset)

yes it's greatly working in my device(Canvas 4 A210)...Actually i just tweak some settings in Viper4Android for Internal Speaker and Headphone...And the result is The internal speaker sound is very Cristal Clear...and In the Headphone you feel the true clear bass...i share bcz i tested...And NeroD you are the real king bro..Thanks for sharing this awesome rom.:good:

First and above all thanks for your mixer adaptations. I know there are endless discussions here at xda this is too loud too quite and so on. For me the tasha mixi is too loud because the speaker starts clipping. So my question is could you point me to a link where I could adopt the mixer myself? Or would it be possible that you reduce it or tell me which parameters I should change in the xml file.

mixer_paths_tasha.xml is primery or base volume for xz, mixer_paths is secondary or complementary.
I use both of them
You can use mixer_paths_tasha.xml (v3) is the better till now

V3 is a lot better than v2 but still near max volume you can hear a little hissing sound on a few notes.
But sill a lot better and usable.

Mate I have been testing your V4 for a while now and the in-call volume on speakers isn't loud enough and cracks at max volume.

The sound seems more clear und richer (my opinion).
One thing I don't get is the volume of the lower speaker, the one at the bottom. Is it normal that it is so quiet?
The speaker at the top is awesome but if you hold your thumb on it the lower speaker is a joke compared to the top speaker
This profile is for earphones with good drivers.
Enjoy with the sound .

Can you help me? As soon as I enable any kind of bass improvement over Bluetooth, the bass starts overlaying the mids and highs, so when the bass comes in, the mids and highs get really quiet. Happens even with only bass boost in the equalizer.
