root/boot loader help - HTC One X

hey everyone i just got a htc one x yesterday from Telus Mobility since my htc evo 3d has been acting up, i'm trying to root it and tried few different options like one click root, all in one root and so on. and now i'm down to trying to get the token code but when i submit it to htcdev this is the message i always get
"Unlocking Bootloader Failed!
We're sorry, but it appears your attempt to unlock the bootloader on this device has failed. This could be caused by several factors including simple errors in the entry of the unlock token, problems with your device, or a lack of manufacturer support for the unlocking process. Please see the specific error code listed below, and try again if necessary.
Error Code: Invalid Bootloader Token Length.
Error Reason: The submitted Token appears to be the wrong length and won't work"
now when is cmd prompt when i execute command "fastboot oem get_identifier_token" it only shows the Bootloader token and on htcdev it shows I should have Bootloader and a Info window with token information am I doing something wrong?
not sure if this helps but I can't get into bootloader manually i have to use a program on my laptop to get into itwould like to unlock that and s off also

hang on i finally got it to submit!

ok well now i'm stuck at the sending unlocktoken

but still Unlock Bootloader is not displayed on my mobile screen. so can someone plz tell me why does the Unlock Bootloader is not displayed on my mobile screen. I check the cable and it works fine, and has properly installed the driver but still no Unlock Bootloader window popups to click yes to root it.

I am trying to fix the same issues with Verizon Wireless as well as I have tried the methods that are on here and still having issues
Please tell us what OS are you using, fastboot version.
Have you tried "fastboot devices" prior to launch the final unlock command? Maybe your PC to Phone connection was not ready, or you were in the Bootloader (you have to choose FASTBOOT from the Phone bootloader).
Another good thing to do would be to make sure that, within your Phone's Android, you have disabled the Fast Boot option. Phone-> Settings -> Power -> Fast Boot -> Unchecked

[Q] Bootloader unlock

Hey guys
I just got my HTC one m9 today and the first thing I wanted to do, is to unlock bootloader for further recovery/root/ROM action.
So I tried like with other devices done before 'fastboot oem get_identifier_token' to get the token, fill it in at htcdev.com and wait for the unlock token.
But this new devices gives me an "FAILED (remote: unknown command)" error.
Is there any new way to unlock?!?
You need do be booted into download mode webdepp, looks a little like a stock recovery screen

Just go straight to S-off, you will have to use sunshine to s-off, it will also unlock your boot loader in the process :good:

Control / C is the wrong way to copy the info, dos works differently, once you've marked the info in the dos window, just hit enter to copy it, and then paste it the normal way, either with a mouse right click or control + V into the window at the HTC dev site.

I have restored my ATT M8 to stock from unlocked and rooted and now I have a couple of problems.
First, SunShine says my phone needs to be rooted to proceed and directs me to the HTCDev site to unlock the boot loader.
When I go through the process to re-unlock the bootloader, I can't get into the Android directory at the command prompt.
As the screenshot shows, it looks like there might be a problem when I boot into the boot loader.
I've also included a screen grab of the command prompt and directories.
I no noob when it comes to flashing, etc, but this has me hitting my head on my desk!

is your phone stuck on that screen or do you actually get to the point where it says fastboot usb on the screen ?
First there is no folder called /Android there ! Its called .Android and that's usually a sign that its a hidden dir !
Create a "normal" Android dir which you have admin rights to also !
Open a command prompt from the folder and check again.

Boot into RUU if you're unable to get bootloader unlock token in bootloader mode

So... I have been stuck with a HTC One E9+ for many months with a lock screen that I literally can't unlock, and flashed TWRP but can't be used because of locked bootloader, I had finally discovered a way to get the unlock token. Here's a little bit of story. I tried to run 'fastboot oem get_identifier_token' in bootloader mode, but the phone returned unknown command. I had tried that when everything was normal. I had check the settings in developer options, and there is nothing related to unlocking bootloader inside there. Until recently, I had discovered 'fastboot oem rebootRUU' from other blog post.
All in all, if you couldn't get the bootloader unlock token in bootloader mode, try to get it in RUU mode.
Good luck!
Hi, i tried to run the command "fastboot oem rebootRUU" but no code appeared.

Can't Unlock Boot loader [Error: FAILED (remote : Not implemet.) - BLU G5

I've been trying to unlock a Blu G5 - I've gotten as far as patching the disk image and all that is left to do is just flash the image onto the phone.
The issue is whenever I try to flash something onto the phone I get the following error :
Code:
FAILED (remote: Flashing Lock Flag is locked. Please unlock it first!)
.
When I go to unlock through Flashing unlock I get the error in the title - OEM unlock gives me cmd not found.
I have USB debugging and OEM unlocking both enabled inside the app settings. I'm not sure if its pertinent but on Magisk I see "Ramdisk : No". I've also been unable to get into recovery mode despite trying every combination possible except for once on accident (which I haven't been able to replicate).
Any help would be appreciated, Thanks!
