hi i had this same .. just unplug it and plug to wall outlet .. restart phone then downl. battery calibration and once 100% open it and hit calibrate

Exactly the same thing happened to me today. Noticed it was 95% when charging, gave it another 10 minutes but it was still on 95%. Not particularly impressed with the software on this phone. Few too many bugs. Am I the only one that checks for firmware updates every day...!?

Yes you are right....90% of battery life depends on how you use your device, kernel drivers and software can not do too much for your battery life.
Even if Huawei will update our device to Android 4.4 KitKat, battery life will can not be improved more than 10% in a normal usage !

I have 5 smartphones at home .. testing and batteries life are roundabout similar .. I left them just go on table and they stayed last week 5 days
Once we start messing with phone .. CPU chip sppeds up ram chips wi-fi chip ..gps chip etc.. that is too much for one small batt..
ya im using B119 already but it improves a little about battery life.Im not using gps, location enabled etc thay may consume battery.compare to B118 before?I observed a little bit difference.

GPS is MOST draining chip in the phone ..
ya i know, that's why that's the way you can see the comparison between b118 to b119 regarding the battery life.

i am interested on hauwei, expecially P2, and i found out that Huawei brings ROMs free on its site for developers... But there is any P2 thread here... I know that huawei is not popular as samsung here, but for you it makes sense to try to open a specific thread for P2?

Hi guys i m on b116 and am planing to move to b119. Is it worth it ?
GSP and battery is bad on b116. Is there some improvement on b119 ?

Check what eats your battery at night. There might be something is that is awakening your mobile at night rather than deep sleep.

[q] usb bricked ?

I did Some Research Over it and found out that it may be caused Due to USB Brick

Have you done anything to damage your misc partition? Or do you have a backup of your misc partition? USB bricks are very difficult to get past unless you have a back up of your partition. I believe the creator of 4ext recovery madmaxx developed a fix for the desire that could be used through his recovery. The main thing to remember is that your misc partition is specific to your phone. Not your model, your actual phone in your hand and if you flash a misc partition from someone else's phone it will kill it. Unless you have a backup, or some makes a generic misc for your phone model you may be stuck. Have you tried a ruu, and ate you s-on or s-off?

I was mainly talking about that 100-90 drain... but I'm sure that those jumps after reboots are caused by often ROMs flashes... script that is responsible for creating batterystats.bin just goes crazy... or something like that... my N4 is only unlocked and rooted, everything else is stock and I'm not facing such big jumps after reboot... they're not bigger than 3%

The more you discharge it to nearly auto turn off moment and fully charge after, the better it will work. My was a bit "wild" after I had like 5 ROMs changed in one day. Then it setted pretty nice, keeping up to 3-4 days with normal use. No weird drops, also goin 100-90 smoothly for hours not 2 mins

That's kind of poor. Weren't you using it heavily during that time? I can hit 4 days on single battery life. However when I played games a bit and used hell lot of 3g internet, it dropped from 50 to 10 in like no time, 1-2hrs.

Apart from enoromous readings battery works fine.

stock or cm or aosp rom?
Stock 4.1.2
i didn't have that on stock only on cm and aosp
Heeeeey I started to notice this on my stock rom 4.1.2 yesterday after reading your thread :| But you can be sure that it's not a problem since I've bought my g last week so it can't be because of your battery age. It's natural. I think it's impossible to show the correct and exact battery percentage in any OS. To test, you can let your battery discharge to the end and you'll see that the end is sometimes 3 percent (the device goes off when it has 3 percent or more left) and sometimes you get 0 percent but the device is on Maybe that's why percentage is off by default.

I just received an update from Samsung Hongkong and that confused me since Note 7 is a discontinued model.
So why Samsung Hongkong offered an update without any restrictions.

What if it just got through before end of updates...
I really want to install this but I know it's going to limit my battery to 60 percent and probably annoy the $hit out of me with the powerdown and return pop-up everytime I plug in the charger.
Did it limit the battery charge or significantly slow down the charging rate?
