TW Launcher is Samsung ...
Take Nova Launcher or Apex Launcher and this Launcher make very nice JOB or look here in XDA TW Launcher 5...

There's one in the galaxy nexus themes and apps section, you'll have to find it, but I've used it before and it works just fine. Or the second alternative is to use the search function and find it, that would have worked instead of creating a new post.

You can't have two launcher without root ... Just search in galaxy nexus themes and apps ull find it its by omarmc as I remember .....just search before post .

Yes when will you change the Launcher2.apk (is TW) then you need root.
Install the Nova Launcher and runs really well.
You can adjust and change as many gestures, icons, dock and more and it runs without stuttering or crash.
For me, the best launcher in Android systems.

NO! that launcher is a fake. It is the Galaxy S3 bad dimensioned launcher with changed page indicators to look as S4.
Try this out

This will work with 4.3 but is buggy... the rendering differences between TW and 4.3 frameworks causes the page transitions to be 'flicky' ... not at all fluid.

WTH do you want to pollute a nexus with touchwiz of all things? Makes no sense. As others say use quality like nova /paid version. It is amazing. People root Samsung to get rid of touchwiz. Buy a Samsung

It's a matter of likes and dislikes. Did anyone stop people from removing touchwiz? Why would you stop someone from installing it then?

I agree, go launcher is awesome very customizable. and if you want widgets get color widgets in the market for facebook, contacts etc.
Im using the ADW with the ICS icons.

GO launcher is the first I've tried, but I really like it. It's very customizable.
I still have to try out the others... But I've decided that landscape and slick animated transitions are must-have features for me after using GO launcher.
Sent from my Galaxy S II using Tapatalk.
I was a long time user of Launcher Pro but recently switched to go launcher. It really can do everything LPP can do and more. Widgets are.... different.... I don't think one has a widget advantage on the other but I'm sure many will disagree with me. Go launcher has plently of easy to assemble custom themes where launcher pro you really have to change things manually. Go launcher lets you do that also. I felt Launcher pro ran smoother on my evo4g but on my gsII go launcher runs awesome
sorry Zeam launcher is the best in my opinion, very sleek and it has just enough options to make it great.

Go Launcher on the Nexus OK ?

I have heard that Go Launcher is frowned upon on the Nexus, saying its not an ICS launcher, should only use Apex...Nova...or CM9 launchers.
Is Go not optimized to work for ICS ?
I got pretty used to all the Go features on my last phone, would like to use again.

then use it... no one's forcing you to use apex or nova.
apex or nova is preferred because it builds off of stock ICS launcher and improves on it for further customizations.
people just want to retain the "holo" look of ICS.

They probably won't because I believe Apex/Nova requires Android 4.0+ and GO Launcher EX includes phones who are on pre-ICS.
If they were to do that, it'd be very similar to Apex / Nova so what's the point? ICS is only a small % of Android users for now. The vast community is on 2.3.X.
And yeah, he should just get Apex/Nova it should be FAR more superior than GO Launcher or LauncherPro or ADW EX. I won't go into the debate of Apex vs Nova because there's a whole thread for that. Both are similar, Apex is more popular and offers more features for FREE. Both paid versions for Nova & Apex cost $3.99 respectively.
I personally use Apex. But it's up to you.
And coincidentally after posting that, http://golauncher.goforandroid.com/2012/05/go-launcher-v3-00-beta/

Are there any custom launchers based on jelly bean yet?

Reason I ask is that the stock jb launcher is way faster and smoother than apex or nova but I can't use the stock launcher right now because I use 240 DPI and want 7x6 grid. The stutter when opening app drawer is unbearable. I tried different kernels and even different Roms same thing.
Anything available yet or should I just go back to stock density.

Dunno about Apex launcher but with Nova reportedly* you'll get smoothness if you go in to the animation speed options and select stock speed.
(* not my tip - I've always stuck with stock speed on Nova is working fine for me on JB)
I am using the paid version of Nova, which was updated yesterday to support JB animations and it is nothing but butter.

That's because stock launcher has nothing in it compared to Apex. I've run 3 JB roms now with apex launcher and Franco kernel. Fast as fast can be. I have to say I am quite disappointed in JB though, I find there is not much to their update.

[Q] A launcher that is closer to stock?

Hello all. I've been using nova launcher for a long time and I've been irritated a little because nova is not a complete replica of the stock android launcher (android 4.2). What I mean is, it looks similar but the spacing of the icons are not right (which I am able to adjust through nova settings) and the folder when opened its too close to the edge of my screen. Is there any other launcher that can possibly give me the closest feel to stock launcher apart from the stock launcher itself?
Thanks

Except it's not. The icons are at the top of their "areas" so there's a large gap at the bottom and almost none at the top. Changing the spacing affects both, so they are never even. Widgets seems to work properly. This has always bothered me about nova.

And why would you want it? There are not super special features of the touchwiz launcher. It's a pretty bare bones launcher. All teh features of the stock phone are built into the rom, not the launcher.

The widget adds ons aren't part of launcher. And those are even less likely to be ported.
What Im saying about other launchers is that TW is kind of basic so you could take a nova or apex and customize it to look just like a TW launcher.
But the widgets arent going to be available outside of touchwiz.
Sent from my SGH-M919 using xda app-developers app
Yes it is possible, because I had the S4 launcher AND weather widget on my S3 running liquid smooth. It's just a matter of time before somebody makes one. I personally don't like any other launcher because they don't have that subtle smoothness that the TW launcher has no matter what you customize on them.
Also, nova and other launchers don't have the same transitions as TW.
