Hi all,
Just wondering if anybody knows the method to get some transparency on the status bar when using cyanogenmod 7?
I'm presuming its not the easiest thing to do, I did search in here but got no matches at all! as anybod looked into it at all?

There's transparency themes for cm7 I use this one http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1102755 if you get the patch from that thread and just push a transparent notification bar png into your phone you should be good
I made one with full transparency in the status bar. Look in the theme forum...

AOSP STYLE CLEAR-ALL BUTTON IN EXPANDED STATUS BAR
AOSP style mobile data
Instructions:
1. download file
2. copy to sdcard or extsdcard
3. flash via CWM
DOWNLOAD:
View attachment GalaxyS4_StatusBar_NoBrillo.zip The notification bar is black
View attachment GalaxyS4_StatusBar_Transp_NoBrillo.zip The notification bar is 70% transparent

Niiiiice work my friend. Tested and working on D-Mod v6. I only miss a lot the brightness bar. Can you add it in the future?

EDIT: Just noticed that the uploading/downloading data icons in WiFi icon are buggy, maybe because of the AOSP like mobile data icons Can you modify this mod but with stock mobile data icons?

What do you mean with buggy? It seems to work fine with me.. am I missing anything?

I mean that because of that mobile data icons mod, the data icons related to wifi are also affected and look bad

In some roms wifi uses the same indicators as the data (in and out arrows), so even though you create wifi indicators, they are not used and then they are miss-aligned as they use the data arrows.
No idea how to assign different indicators though...

Just install Nova or Holo launcher, both of them looks like the stock Android.

i have Nova and its not like stoke i want launcher like note 2 or s4 .
He means can he use the touchwiz launcher . I don't think so, but if you have nova prime, turn the drawer effects to zero, transparency to full, and turn desktop animations to glass. That will look more like touchwiz than stock, if you also install a touch wiz icon pack.

There are some custom roms that have the stick launcher. Just go find one

I searched this kind of status bar but I have not been successful, for the Lg optimus G (E975) there is nothing same or like this. Xposed StatusBar is only available for HTC one and SGS so I have not dared to install this mod, I love the status bar ios 7 and I want something as close as possible or equal to the status bar. Sorry for my english

Thanks for u answers. I have the rom stock of LG optimus G (android 4.1.2) I see a status bar like Ios7 but it is for LG G2 :s edit the file LGSystemUI.apk and u done, but I don't have thought

Only with root, I believe.
An HTC update could remedy this.
