[Q] Is cyanogenmod safe for tmobiles samsung galaxy s4 sgh-m919? - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S 4

i have just recently rooted my phone and i want to get into all the rom management but i really dont want to flash a bad rom and brick my phone, so i was wondering if any of you have used cyanogenmod on your tmobile samsung galaxy s4 sgh-m919 and could give me the okay that its a safe rom to use.
Thank you !!

It's a functional ROM.
There's always a risk with flashing any ROM, the more you know, the less the risk.

It's a very nice ROM. If you are looking for AOSP ROM, give the Virgin ROM a try. I've used both and both are rock solid. Here is the link for Virgin ROM

You need to research and learn to do it correctly to avoid problems but in answer to your question, there is a version of cyanogenmod for the SGH-M919 variant and it works just fine. I am currently using a touchwiz rom but one of my good friends had been on cyanogenmod for 2 months now and won't use anything else.

MIUI rom

Does anyone have any idea when the Miui rom will make it to our device? I think they already have a few versions for the at&t one but not for T-Mobile. So sad

My random ported roms thread

Basically what this thread is meant to be is just a thread where I port random ROMs I don't really want to support or bother with bugs. You'd be surprised about how many cool looking roms there are Here's a list if what I'm porting. List will get bigger as i find something of interest . Ideas/suggestions are welcomed *I do not mess with international roms * I'm not risking my phone or yours
*Disclaimer: some of these ports might be roms I haven't tried on my phone due to lazyness so i might not know if it boots but you take the risks of flashing so its not my fault if your phone bites the dust

I would test on my phone when I don't have anything happening and if I'm not busy. I usually don't have time to wipe my phone. For example im 2 releases behind on my own rom because I don't have time to update. Also any rom I post here won't brick your phone the worse that can happen is a boot loop. Like right now i have the time to test my provision port from the Gnex and it bootloops so gonna figure this one out

You should port the supernexus ROM from the international S3. I have tried multiple times and just can't get it to boot. Want that ROM so badly..

Is this still live I'm wondering about doing Provision aka jelly vision but the only one that is 4.1.2 is on a international. So that might be out of the question right now unless some one wants to do one from source. I don't know how to build from scratch. But what needs to be done to port from the Sprint Galaxy Nexus everything I've tried it just bootloops....what am I missing I've followed the usual port guides for ICS/JB I have ported Roms before with no issues but this one is giving me headache:banghead:

Look towards the bottom of the original post..
Download and Install the S3Rx 1.8 Rom.
Be sure to read the whole post, it uses the Aroma installer which provides a multiple method of install as well as different types of mods..
S3Rx 1.8 is pretty much THE ROM you need as far as 4.1.2 goes

Did you wipe properly?
1. Factory reset
2. Wipe System
Once you do that, install the rom and gapps, then reboot system. Shouldn't boot back into recovery unless you tell it to.
