Negative. It's for A2DP music only.

[Q] Bluetooth Headset Question

So I recently got a brand spanking new bluetooth earpeice thing. I want to use it to listen to music, videos, etc., but it only will let me do phone audio. Is there an option I am missing? Do I have to buy one of those expensive bluetooth headphones? Or does the Epic just not do it?
Btw, I am not rooted and don't plan to be anytime soon. Also the earpeice or whatever is bluetooth 2.0 (or whatever).
Any help is much appreciated and thanks in advance.

In Bluetooth settings click on your paired device and check the media box.

Then your headset doesn't support it... there are apps in the market that force the media audio to be through the headset though... can't remeber the name of it at the moment though

That bites. My cheapie Samsung headset from Newegg works great. Even comes with little stereo headphones to connect to it.

[Q] Listen to music over Bluetooth

Hey, question might of been asked but is there a way to play music through bluetooth on note 2
I use my bluetooth headphones daily

All you have to do is pair the headphones/speakers/headset with the device and it does the rest for you

It depends on your bluetooth device.
Make sure it's a audio and media device.

Yep it has to be a bluetooth media device to play music but most everything on the market is.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using Tapatalk 2
Yes. Your BT headset must support A2DP blue tooth profile or better, to stream media.

Yeah A2dp is a req. I've been using a pair of kinivio bluetooth headphones for the last year on my htc inspire and now on my note2. Work almost flawlessly and I got em for 20 bucks.

Bluetooth in car volume

Hi guys..
Anyone got bluetooth in call audio to work with the note 2? Ive tried two devices now. A plantronics voyager pro headset and an old sony car stereo.
I can get media audio to work such as music on both. However neither devices will work for calls. I get no sound.
Both devices work fully with my girlfriends s3.
Ive never rooted and am on stock rom.
Any ideas welcome.
Cheers

You gotta make sure that call audio is ticked per device. It sounds like you only have media enabled for both.

hmmm... not sure about your car stereo. it may require a mic and not have the capability. but if it does. then i don't know know what to suggest other than deleting the pairing and repairing and see if that solves anything. i don't have any problems with my plantroics discovery 975, 925, hands free link in my civic nor my sony mw600.

I've had it work on stock ROM and another other I have used. Sounds like an issue with the phone or BT devices.

Thanks for suggestions. Both bluetooth devices work with my girlfriends s3. So must be my note2. Very frustrating. Think im gonna try a factory reset to eliminate any app or setting causing the issue.

Java wave Bluetooth headphone disconnect after a few mins of call.

Any one have a Java wave Bluetooth headphone that the mic stops working after a few minute of call. The headphone still work and it is just the mic.
PS. Java wave is a stereo headphone and so for example it can be used to listen to music without any `bt mono` mod, if you know what I meant

No worries.
Moved where it should go :good:
look here http://www.amazon.com/FM-Transmitters-MP3-Player-Accessories/b?ie=UTF8&node=13981621
Or you could get the tape - mp3 converters. I got one from amazon for $0.67. They work like a charm. The only problem is that you cannot control your music from your car's stereo (except for volume of course)
I fit the htc Stereoclip guts into a monster cassette adapter. Works flawlessly.
Lasts a good 6 hours on a charge. No wires.
