If you are looking for language support, this may be of assistance.
I posted this link for someone else a while ago who wanted to change the language to Japanese on their device. I haven't heard back.
Please read the link thoroughly to see if it'll help:

Yes you could, you have to find out which ROM contain the language you want.
Most of the AOSP like CM and AOKP has a lot of language choice.

[Q] English (United States) on Singapore One X?

Hey Guys,
I am sorry for all of the n00bish questions lately, though I have the Singapore HTC One X running 1.28.707.10, and was wondering what the easiest way of getting a more common English variant on the device would be?
English (Singapore) and all of the other Asian English variants affect predictive text on the keyboard, which is why I am wanting a ROM with English United States, United Kingdom or Australia etc.
It is my understanding that I cannot put ROMs such as this one on the device (Europe 1.28.401.9), due to the devices CID?
Any help would be appreciated, there must be other people out there in the same situation? Is there a good custom ROM out there that is compatible with the Singapore version, and has a more common English variant?
aufens
I have a similar problem with mine saying English (France). Tho, I don't have any predictive text issues to speak of. I posted antutu benchmarks and got a French flag.
All roms available in dev section works in Asian firmware variant. I'm currently in 1.28.707.10 also and I've tried 5 different roms already which are based on Europe firmware 1.28.401 and got no problem flashing those.
Most of them english(uk) but team pkmn Rom also got english(us).

You can install apps to change location.
Like MoreLocale2, or LocaleSwitch, and set you locale.
Works for me.

That doesn't solve the keyboard predictive text issue though.

Probably because all roms don't have every language pack. It adds a considerable size to have un-needed languages in the rom...

My P605 ITV have all the European languages, so Swedish is included. For Chinese, I don't know how is written in Chinese characters, maybe is the last one from the attached list?

Thanks, yes at bottom 中文 = chinese.
However I think you could flash another 605 rom (like the Italian-itv) to obtain your preferred language also if you bought it from others countries.

yes, as it was in firefox.
I think i solve the probleme by setting by google account correctly.
By the way, thank you for you help.
gonna let you know if now every think is really fine
Hello everyone,
The more I look on this forum and others, the more I am tempted by a flash to solve the problem I have :
I bought a SM-P605 in Hong Kong but the languages available on the device are only English and Chinese.:crying:
So I'm thinking of flashing the device with Odin and install the P605XXUBMJ9_P605OXXBMJ2_XEF firmware to get french language by default.
Has some else done it before me ? Did it work fine ?
I think it should be :good: but still, 5 questions torment me. If someone has answers, I'll be really thankful !
1) Does the 4G works fine after flashing ? Does the modem driver of the XEF ROM (P605XXUBMJ9_P605OXXBMJ2_XEF.zip ) is 100% compatible with my hardware purchased in Asia? How can I be sure? FYI my operator is Bouygues Telecom France.
2) How is it going after for updates ? Will I need to reflash everytime to update the tablet or the OTA update will still work normally ?
3) What about the flash counter ? I realized that the Knox counter would not be affected if I install an official version, you confirm ? But will the flash counter be affected even if it's a official ROM that I install ? And will it also cancel my warranty ? What impact will this flash have exactly on the device ?
4) Is it certain that my CSC will change for sure to French with a flash of my device for the P605XXUBMJ9_P605OXXBMJ2_XEF firmware ? Or is there a chance it won't change anyway ?
5) Last but not least, small detail I need to understand before I flash : what is that strange file " SS_DL.dll " which was in the zip package of the official rom for my tablet I downloaded SamMobile ? What should I do with it ? It must be loaded in Odin or elsewhere before flashing or should I just ignore it ?
Thank you in advance for your feedback. Sorry if those questions seem stupid to you...
And please should I be warned about other potential important problem not mentioned above before flashing ?
Of course I'll take my responsability but If you think of something else, please let me know...
I'm a newbe, ready to enter the Galaxy world, flash my first device and share with you my experience in return but I do not want to ruin everything because I can also just simply exchange my tablet for a multilingual one, even if it would cost me money...
Anyway, here is the descreption of my device. Thanx for your help !

S4 Mini i9195 Stock Firmware KK?

I can't find a STOCK FW for the i9195. By stock, I mean something without a carrier name at the end, when surfing sammobile.com. To be more specific, I'm looking for the latest (4.4.2) FW with Romanian (XXUCNEA or something similar) and stock.
Can anyone help? Thanks.

For now there is no version for ROM
Only Vodafone Romania,
Only nonbranded one is Spain, New Zeland , Slovakia , Germany
In that case, can Romanian be added later?

U mean language ? or ROM firmware version
If u mean firmware u have to ask samsung WHEN they will release for other countries
If u mean language, Romanian is available in all versions i think
Here's the thing: the phone was just purchased from Orange and I'm not conforable with the bloatware. I was looking for the latest KK clean ROM and I settled with the Spain version.
What I'm asking now is offtopic and it's about a way to CLEAN flash a ROM. I was wondering about this when a problem occured with the signal. It kept droping and I read it had something to do with the firmware.
So, is there a way to clean flash a ROM on a Samsung?

SM-N920A, firmware and language

Hello,
Just got a hold of a AT&T Note 5. From what I have read so far, I understand you cannot use a different firmware without bricking the phone. On my version, there is only a handful of languages available, which is very different from the regular Android versions I have encountered. Is there a firmware available for this particular model that have more languages?
Thanks.
How to add Langugage (Russian) ?

I believe this is an internal debloating process decision since the AT&T phones was only made for use in the United States anyway. It seems as though you are out of luck, since rooting isn't an option, so you may have to buy another rootable Note5 (or phone)

To add any language you have to decompile system apps and add the language then recompile and push them to the device.
I have already made PJ1(6.0.1) debloated and added multi-language more than 40 languages but I have a very slow internet speed so I couldn't upload it.
Maybe if I find fast Internet I would upload it.
Plz I need that get time help me with please

Try my custom rom
http://www.mediafire.com/file/8u8p9oi9rx3ixi4/SM-N910P_PJ1_Multi-Languages.zip
But you have to flash the stock PJ1 firmware first from odin.
Then flash my debloated rom via twrp recovery.
I am the only one who tested it so I didn't share it publicly.
So try it and let me know.
Note:
If your device software is newer than PJ1 then try it if it works or downgrade to PJ1.if you couldn't just wait,I may make a new custom rom with multiple languages based on the latest software.
Tried it with russian language. Works great, thank you!
Hi boss

Just downgrade to PJ1.
flash the official PJ1 tar from odin then after that flash my rom from twrp.
After flashing the PJ1 tar file make it boot for at least one time and flash the latest twrp version of recovery then flash my rom.
It correct my bro
Thank you very much

no, I used the N910PVPS4DPJ1. After the firmware, the system was switched on via the OTA to the N910PSPT5DQI5 version (Android v.6.01), but I blocked the update by disabling Wifi.
