Screen capture...? - Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) Q&A, Help & Troubl

This might be a real dumb question, but is there any other way to take a screen capture without using the S Pen? I know how to do with the S Pen but I was curious whether not you can do it with the buttons as well? And before anyone comes back with the comment, yes I did do a search and everything is directed towards using the S Pen.
Thanks for any help

You can do a palm swipe across the screen if you have that enabled under settings > controls > palm motion

I don't.... I disabled it in the settings...

Advanced Config Tool: Finger Pressure

Hey,
Have been messing around with the Advanced Config Tool for a bit (http://www.touchxperience.com/en/advanced-configuration-tool/downloads.html) and I saw an option for "Finger Pressure" now, its set at a "custom" level by default, but do you think that by altering that setting I might be able to make it so that I don't have to press hard on the screen to get a reaction, like (I'm sorry) the Iphone?
Thanks in advance,
Nils
Edit:
I'm very hesitant to try it on my diamond because, well, I'm too protective of it
was wondering about this too. anybody has any idea about this..?
It's true.
But the best thing to do when you want the screen to respond when you touch it with a feather :
Re-allign your screen in 'Settings'
And when alligning, just VERY GENTLY apply force to the stylus, just press a LITTLE BIT HARDER just enough to make the cross move to the next spot.
It calibrates pressure to, I do that always when aligning.

is that only a feature the diamond has? or would that work on my herald too?
I really dont know
Ok guyzz:
Only Works for GSM Diamonds.
If you want a really sensitive screen do this:
In advanced config go to:
HTC Touch Flow:
Pressure Threshold set to: 1
Finger Pressure set to: 1
Forget about the gentle stylus push on alignment of screen.
Hope all goes well let me know how it goes!
Greetings to all.
1? you sure?
wont that make it so we CANT touch the screen?

dude its SUCH A BIG DEAL.
scrolling is so much smoother now
@CashewNuts, download advanced config here: http://www.touchxperience.com/en/advanced-configuration-tool/downloads.html
btw, the iphone senses your skin unlike our diamonds Hence why you cant use a stylus or pen or finger nail with the iphone

I meant doing this tweak is no big deal
Glad it help you out.
Greetings
I tried this and couldn't feel a difference, that might be because I use Swift bl v7.5 which makes everything more sensitive to the touch anyway...
After i re-alligned the screen was the response a lot better then before. I use the Swift bl v7.0

Seriously did you read the first post of this page...it quite clearly states in there the link for downloading the advanced config tool.
In case you cant read...heres the link:
http://www.touchxperience.com/en/ad...40-advanced-configuration-tool-downloads.html
Download the 3.2 cab then connect your phone and transfer the cab file to your phone and install it.
Thanks
Just to explain, I didn't realise that this was a seperate app. and therefore that was a link to it - was thinking it was something I simply needed to know how to access already onboard the Diamond.

Let me rephrase that for you:
the diamond is not limited by having a capacitive touch screen like the iphone Hence why you cant use a stylus or pen or finger nail with the iphone

[REQ]Touchscreen Feedback

Hey guys,
I've tried searching but to no avail!
Is there a program out there that will vibrate when you use the keyboard or move around on the screen?? Just as it does when you click the home screen button??
Cheers
Jake

Enter usually works as OK/Submit/etc
yeah I miss the "ok" button. used to it from teh Tilt & MDA.
I'd rather have that than the "Messaging" button.
So.... what registry hack will let me change that key???

Yeah I was confused, didn't realise you were talking about the OK option on dialogues.
The "Back" button is the OK button. Believe me, I was a hardcore addict to the OK button my Wing. This is the exact same thing.
Although it's a real pain trying to reach for it while the keyboard is open...
