Any news on B118 ?

If you are rooted, rename
Code:
/system/media/audio/ui/camera_click.ogg
to
Code:
/system/media/audio/ui/camera_click.bak
and
Code:
reboot.

Good luck with that. I've tried for days to do that. Some you can just rename them in root explorer. Some won't work if you do. I've torn apart apks and can't find it any place.

Where do you guys get that option just tried in two diff apps to open a pic, and it just says gallery.

Install root explorer or ES explorer. It will give you the option to open files with these programs. Once you have them you can also use root access to apps for adjustments to the files.

one spot you can change the name is /res/values/strings.xml another is in the android manifest but it needs to be decompiled.
Yikes. Guess I'll live with it. Thanks folks

Did you check settings.

Yes I did and everything was on. I have now lost it again, no boot sound, no tap sounds, no system sounds period. Every other sound, I.e. the type sounds while writing this, are working just fine. Please help. I am rooted with odin and twrp recovery. Thanks

try this
setting - App manager - All - Settings - clear data
same do with setting storage too
Reboot
still if you have same issue, just do what utkarsh said above
I did that and nothing helped, this happened once before and then it fixed itself for awhile. I need to fined out what is doing it!
Try clearing data of an app called MEDIA STORAGE. After you do it, reboot it right away. After rebooting, let it sit for about 10 to 30 minutes while it rescans all your media (I'm assuming you have lots of media on the phone-I known do lol. If you don't, 5 minutes should be enough). Then see if the sounds are back.
Cheers!

i figured it out, when using the app camera sound off for root, it does not only silence the camera sound but most system sounds. I got rid of it and now it works fine. thanks for the help though guys.
Good
You can off shutter sound without apk
Add this line
<CscFeature_Camera_ShutterSoundMenu>true</CscFeature_Camera_ShutterSoundMenu>
Click to collapse
Exact end of other features in
System/csc/others.xml
After that you will have menu in camera setting to on/off sound

Im on sprint, I don't know if it will work but ill give it a try, thanks alot

I don't think that's a command.
Also add it at the end of feature.xml if it exists.

Yes as said above i forget to paste line
It should in system /csc/others.xml (most note2 rom have this file), if there is no such file then in feature.xml
But not at end but in any new line between
I am using it on mb2 and also worked in ma6
As well works fine on sgs2 too.
Edit :
@utkarsh

you should try updating your firmware to the latest version B107 via the huawei support website
I'm having the same problem on B107. Not a big deal IMO just a minor annoyance.
Anyway, i think that i will update to B107, in B104 battery consume is anoying when using wifi...
UPDATED: Icons still cutted .___.
I think the next thing you can do is send a screenshot to the app developer and get some more info from them.

Have you tried changing the font size within Whatsapp? In settings > chat settings > font size. Try changing it to large. Worked for me

Force UI mode

Hi I was wondering if there any setting or app that let me put notification at bottom. I Google and people say set DPI to 213 to force it bottom but its not working. I'm using carbon ROM and it doesn't have that tablet mode option. If any one knows please guide me thanks

I don't think this will help you, anyway. That build.prop tweak just gives you onscreen controls. I've never used Carbon so I'm not sure what the options are. PA includes a Tablet UI.

He's right. I misread the op. But yes, end of build.prop. I used es file explorer.

First I did used es explorer to edit it and put it at end. But won't let me save . second if doing the edit won't put my notification at bottom like tablet ui mode?

Yes, with carbon rom

Nah the edit I told you about won't do that. And root explorer is the best alternative.

[Q] Quick Question

What is the name of the OEM Text Message sound? I want it.
78 views and not one reply?
Dont remember but if you download the rom you can use a zip program to extract it. Or install the rom find the name under the settings and then copy it to your sdcard.
