Can you give us a break down in how the hangouts with sms works? Does it integrate your sprint number so you now have to keep data on to recieve text? I haven't tried it yet for that reason i had a terrible time once trying to undo Google voice sms. Thx

To fix the Google Now fc when searching you need to add the extracted file to your /system/lib/

Long press the home screen, select Settings. Select Voice. Select Language to change the default. Change to another language, I choose English – UK. Hit Home. Do a Google Search. Repeat the first three steps. Change back to English – US. ......per droidlife

Absolutely not. I searched all this before rooting. The closest thing u can get to is an app to which u can paste any emoji content you have previously copied and it will shpw you the emoji output. Extremely inconvenient...and i do not remember the name of the app.
Although if you do root (really theres nothing bad to it) the method i have given u is the most emoji compatible one out there right now trust me (i got it off xda some time ago).

It's great, the best things about it are it's fast (i mean its a quick loader, much faster than samsung stock) and it has buttons of just the right size, and i like the plain look.
I use it as my everyday keyboard but its got some cons:
-i dont like the way the settings button and multifeature onee are separated: they couldve earned some more space if theyd done it like samsung's multi feature button.
-i dont really like the way they put the "period" button...but thats more like my fault as i get frustrated cuz i constantly press it instead of the spacebar...
-it's missing a clipboard history button like samsungs one
And its got a pro-con:
When horizontal, keyboard turns into a pc-like keyboard with arrows and alt and fn and ctrl and ****... (guess thats why its called hackers keyboard) and its buttons are REALLY small (more like little squares, i guess it was made for tablets). this can be annoying if u like to type horizontally most of the time(which i donr really do...), so it would be neat if i could switch to a more phonelike keyboard thru a button (without changing keyboard). The pro is that its got a pc keyboards buttons...and since android is based off linux and ****: turns out ctrl+a or +c +v +x all work. So if u own an s3 and u have trouble copyin some stuff cuz samsung made they copy tool a shameful gadget, just turn around the keyboard and press ctrlA and ctrlC to copy all...its happened to me more than once.

Dunno ull have to try for usself, as i use only hackers keyboard, u see sfiftkey is that famous keyboard right? well if it is in order to work it would need like a plugin or something, but tecnically once uve got your fonts modded right any keyboard will paste your emojis as long as its got the right button...so u could actually make ur own

I would like to ask if its possible to have a T9 dialer on Google Edition ROMs. Or if its possible to port CM10.1 dialer?
I already tried replacing the stock GE contacts.apk with CM10.1 apk and fixed its permission then reboot. But that got me nowhere and ended up with no dialer at all.

Try this Swipe Dialer Free or Swipe Dialer Pro on Google play :good:
Try using the contacts/phone apk from a CM build that has it.

Tested. T9 dialer works great.
No vibrate options as CM phone app as usual... But T9 dialer works great at least... !!!

Thanks for the link! I've flashed it and it's working perfectly, but one thing bothers me, the stock dialer has a light cyan color gradient in the background. The one i've flashed is all black. Why's that?

You wanna ask the modder that question.
Clearly he/she preferred a darker colored dialer.
You didn't have a T9 dialer and now you have one, but now you don't like the color.
People are difficult to please...
It's just I've never seen the dialer in all black, so maybe I was thinking something went wrong. But now I know. Thanks for the answer!

Correct. Never used it, but it seems like on the eve of 4.4 providing the option of setting your own default SMS app is a bad time to pull the feature.
The interface is so much like ios7 iMessage.

Just had the same issue as well. I detached the app from the market using titanium backup, and it seems fine now.
I had a problem with the apk you posted. So I found another file: :laugh: View attachment com.facebook.orca-2.apk
on my play store still the avaible version is 2.7.1

They removed the ability yo send sms...
And guys you should uninstall the existing messenger app first and then install the apk and turn off auto updates on google play so it doesn't downgrade update to the older version

But they made a catch..
Only people who use messenger can send sms through it..
I tried and it works..
Even if they are offline..
Messages are sent on their phones..

How so? this is the same app that android police posted as well as several other users in several other subforums on XDA. I originally found it the day it was announced by facebook when browsing the the Sony Xperia Z1.

I am, however, having some problems. Clock installed, but crashes on launch.

Do not ask for ART support, as it will not work with modified apps. You will have to wait for HTC to release an official one. Also, you won't be able to open Weather from the app drawer. The full app hasn't been ported yet, but it is enough to make the weather load in Blinkfeed.

A.No, this only works for 4.4+.

A.No. normaly install app.

A.The individual setup has not been ported yet.

A.They have not been ported yet.
Q.Weather and Clock dont work.
A.Weather app don't work, it only shows weather in blinkfeed if you set it as default home page.

Set blink feed as the default screen.
Also make sure you've enabled weather thru accounts in settings

You can also raise your LCD density to 340 to get rid of the weird looking black dock effect. UI will look a bit bigger though

Flashed V8. with Nexus 4.4.2 Nexus 5 experience Factory ROM. After reboot, it says system upgrading, then nothing. Cannot see hTC blinkfeed in the Setting->home
Should I install v7 first?
