Hey guys.
I'm currently running nims11's GingerCruzt which has this launcher, but with no hot corners.
I tried installing the .apk for HVGA: it prompted to replace a system app, I accepted, but the installation was unsuccessful.
Then I tried to move the .apk to /app/system/, set permissions (rw-r--r--) correctly and rebooted. Didn't work: stopped at bootscreen (although not bootloop).
Can anyone figure out a way to replace GingerCruzt's launcher with this one? Or enable hot corners for it?
Thanks before!

It should as the app is made for tab also.. Just give it try..
Awesome
I am currently running the VSync patched CM10 Experimental Build (just because it is so buttery smooth and awesome) and I have always enjoyed using the MIUI interface.
This lets me have the best of both worlds! Confirmed working on CM10 JB.
Keep up the great work!

Tested and it works and fits on my nexus 7. It's nice, singular but simply none of the elements on the desk works. It gives the 'app not found error'. I'm on stock rooted jb 4.1.1. Anyway just to post the issue. I'm not so interested in it

I think this may be because the theme is designed/written to look for system apps that would normally be in the MIUI ROM.

Do you just overwrite SecLauncher2.apk?
Or is is an installer?
Samsung specific widgets ( direct call - weather etc) dont work with 4.2 Launcher.
Personally, fan of CM pure Android Roms , I dont care much since there are plenty and better on Play store

Guys, I installed 4.0.27 and can't access the Films and Books categories as can be seen on the snapshot below :
http://db.tt/bL38JTEx (sorry i did not manage to insert the picture)
However I get some Films and Book suggestions which i can browse... I cleared the playstore cache, but it did not fix the issue. I tried from the app Google Play to launch the app store, but was redirected to the store in the internet browser... And from the Book app, which redirects the search to he store app, i can't find any book, only apps or music...
Anyone has a fix/work-around ?
Sorry fot the double post (see here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=40811883&postcount=48 : this one was at the wrong place - xperia phone)
Thanks

[TIP] [APP] Changing DPI to get 5x5 appdrawer with GEL

"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Like most of us here I love KitKat combined with the Google Experience Launcher BUT that 4x5 appdrawer is a waste of screenspace with those BIG icons! Been playing around with changing DPI and discovered it only takes changing the default 320dpi to 316dpi to trigger a 5x5 appdrawer!
320 to 316 really is nothing, doesn't give a weird tiny look to the status- and navbars and it all looks great! I'm using a free app called texdroider-dpi (Playstore) but you can also edit build-prop...
Works great, thanks!
Thank you for the app. I was looking for the same purpose. really helped.
I tried 300 which gave me 6x5. But really I nust use AOSP launcher which is the same thing as Google Launcher without the Okay Google (suits me fine), it gives me 5x5 by default.
sent from nexus 4
AOSP GEL-launcher?! Any link?

Thanks!
My only complaint about GEL has been the app drawer. I love using it now.
I would like to ask you about the way to modify 36dpi of Navigation bar for odexed stock 4.4?

It's Launcher3.apk from CM11 roms: http://fitsnugly.euroskank.com/?rom=cm11&device=mako
It's only compatible with 4.4. If you do not have Google Search installed you won't have the search bar either.
