[BOOT ANIMATION] Quietly ninja'd - Verizon HTC One (M7)

I wanted to share something I was playing around with last night. Hopefully I will get more time to work on more.
Steps I used to use this:
Copy boot animation to sd card - leave file name as is
Using root explorer, rename your current vzw_bootup.zip located at System\Customize\Resource to vzw_bootup.old
Using root explorer, copy new boot animation to System\Customize\Resource
Using root explorer, change permissions on new boot animation to 644

Modified Bootup Files

I've made a few changes to my bootup screen and I thought I would share with you all. Changes are as follows:
Changed HTC part of the boot to include another android
removed annoying noise after the little android waves
Attached is a copy of my bootscreen folder.
This is the modified HTC portion of the startup.

}
Only tested on 2.73.405.5 rom.
If anyone has some good photoshop skills then we could make a good little startup screen.
PS. I don't take credit for the modified GIF (I just found it on the net somewhere).
Many thanks i was looking for someting like this
Made an update.zip from your files and signed it, so you can flash it. (attached)
You should add it to the Themes/Bootscreens wiki.
PS. confirmed to work on Hero with a 1.5 custom ROM (Kimera 1.5).

Boot Animation

This boot animation is VERY basic. It shows a simulated boot sequence (text). Once the simulated sequence has finished, a blue android pulses in the bottom right corner until the lock screen appears.
If someone can tell me how to make an animated GIF, I'd be happy to post that. But until then, here ya go and enjoy!

Thanks to: Houka420 for getting the desc.txt to work properly for me.
Here you go.
I used BootAnimationPreview.1.3.exe
I think it was made by Camalot?? it's in this form somewhere.

[Boot-Animation]simple 3d rotating cyanogenmod logo

I just updated the links in the original thread in "Android Themes"and thought i might as well post it here as it is suitable for our screens.
I wanted to create a very small(file size),simple and smooth bootscreen, and decided to base it on cyanogen-mod logo.
As i've described above the file size is very small, less than 500kb!!, and runs extremely smooth.
40 png's x12 fps

[BOOTANIMATION] Windows 8 Loading Circle [email protected]

Hi there,
here is a very simple boot animation for you. It is basically the Windows 8 loading screen at system startup. Personally, I am no big fan of this OS, but I like the animation
The bootanimation.zip is not a CWM flashable file. You have to copy it manually to either /system/media/bootanimation.zip or /data/local/bootanimation.zip in order to use it.

Thank you!
Working perfectly after changing permission of bootanimation.zip to 644 =)
Can I apply this to Xperia z3?

[Bootanimation] Clash of Clans for the Nexus7 [Bootanimation]

Like many others I'm a fan of Clash of Clans.
Loved the TV advert and thought it would make a good boot animation for my tablet.
I would prefer to get the images sharper but file size gets a bit heavy.

If you have never added a custom bootanimation before, dont worry.
Installation is easy.
Download this:
https://db.tt/J6HGOGdr
Do not unpack or extract anything.
Make sure the file is named bootanimation.zip
Simply copy and paste the zip file in system/media ( rename the existing file 1st)
Set permissions to 6-4-4
x-x-o
x-o-o
x-o-o
Reboot system and enjoy.
Working great on my tablet though I accept no responsibility for any issues caused by using this etc etc.
