My Nexus 5 accessory order(spigen, kinivo, and vojo) review - Nexus 5 Accessories

My order came in today and I am very happy with everything.
First the Ultra Fit Matte white case is my preferred case out of the two. Doesn't add much bulk what so ever.
The glas.t is outstanding as per, but does add a little bulk, but think a neo hybrid will address that.
The Vojo cables are amazing in the SRT8 when paired with the Kinivo. Its amazing the difference a high performance car charger makes.
I'm having some custom work done to my SRT and they are trying to figure out a way to integrate a qi charging pad. Wish I could find a bigger unit than the ones offered by amazon
Once my wife gets home later I'll take some pictures.

Sleeve, Stand, Skin and Screen Protector

I actually like having a super thin tablet so I opted not to go with a case/stand combination. This tablet is so light I just hold it 90% of the time anyway. After much research I went with:
Mivizu Shell 7" Sleeve Case - $5 shipped
-great reviews, good protection, pockets to carry stand and charger
Black Portable Folding Holder Multi-stand - $4 shipped
- good reviews, got extras for my phone and other desks, super cheap and shipped from only 1 state away
dbrand 2013 Nexus 7 Skin - $13 shipped
-color I was looking for, got a matching skin for my phone, advertised on xda, comes with hand drawn image of my choosing
iLLumiShield - Google Nexus 7 2013 (Wi-Fi) 2nd Generation Crystal Clear Screen Protector - $7 shipped
-used this brand on other devices and I like the texture, easy installation, 3 pack, lifetime warranty
Will update with pictures when everything gets here.
Thanks! Got the folding holder... I'm gonna try to mod it with wireless charging!

How did you get the mivizu shell for $5? Shows up as $9.95 for me.
It probably went up in price because it got popular in a few threads on here. That's where I heard about it.

Please post if you do. I've got the Samsung GS4 charging pad and I'm not against cracking it open if the inductive charging coil is just a small piece that can be attached to another surface.

I don't think it went up in price, did not show the shippingwhen I bought it, after the order it showed 4.95+4.99= 9.94,so it's basically the same price, only now it shows free shipping.

Nice combo. I have almost the exact same things installed or ordered. I have the iLL shield and the Mivizu, but I went with the Stickerboy skin as it covers the corners.

Earlier there were 2 options, Amazon fulfilled had $5 shipping whereas shipping from MiniSuit was free.
The price was $4.95 earlier, but I did see there were only 18 remaining 12 hours ago. I guess the price went up after Amazon's stocks were finished.

Tech armour Screen Protectors.

Anyone have these. Going for $8 shipped on amazon. I prefer dry app SP and tend to just buy the cheap ones.

I love Tech Armor. Screen protectors are quality, and they have a really good policy of sending additional protectors if you mess up application.
However, this is for the first gen Nexus 7. Just making sure you saw that.
I ended up getting a 3 pack of protectors from Rearth. Same price. Didn't get them yet, so can't speak to quality.
Good catch. I searched nexus 7 fhd and that came up. Should have looked closer. Either way I didn't order one.

i saw these on amazon too, in general it seems like techarmour gets good reviews. so thinking ill give it a shot
I had a great experience with tech armor on my original nexus.
Protector is durable, easy to apply
Available for Nexus 7 FHD on August 12, see thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2393386

SupCase Slim Fit Folio Review!

Hey everyone I recently received my SupCase Slim Fit Folio case and am pretty impressed. It isn't like super high quality leather but for the price it's pretty much what you would expect. I have the one with the elastic hand strap on the back and also the stylus holder. I really like being able to use the Nexus 7 in bed when laying down, which is where I spend most of my time using the tablet.
The folio features work as advertised and is pretty sturdy. It really is the generic folio we see for every tablet, but that's not a bad thing because everything seems works pretty well. You can actually buy this without the hand strap or with a hand strap and free stylus holder.
Keep in mind though, anyone using the LMT Launcher or something similar may not be able to use it with the case on because the edges of the case go onto the bezels. Also, just so you guys know, I did receive this product from SupCase prior to the release date since I review these products on YouTube.
If you have any questions just let me know!
great review. great production quality. nice to see a review that doesn't seem to be filmed in the kitchen or bathroom.

Haha thanks man, that review you linked to was hilarious.
Thank you for the review. Have you had a chance to see if any Qi chargers work while the device is in the case?

I don't have a QI Charger, but I don't think so. The Poetic Slimline doesn't work according to Poetic, so I doubt this will.

I bought this case via Amazon for a ridiculously cheap $6. It's now $13 so I just got lucky. The Supcase is really nice. Has a high quality look and feel, fits tight and elegantly, and works perfectly. The magnetic auto on off is very quick and flawless. I haven't tested it with wireless charging but instructions said it won't work while device is inside the case. I really like this case nevertheless!

Case for wireless charging back?

Hey guys, first post here...
Despite being described as the same size as the original back, the Samsung wireless charging back is not even close. Now my otterbox doesn't fit, my tech21 doesn't fit... And it's a struggle to get my Bodyglove shocksuit to fit and just feels awkward.
Any suggestions on a case that will work with this? I love not having a case on it but am horrified at the possibilities that can come from having no case...
Thanks in advance!

I returned my wireless-charging back plate and got one of these instead:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00GV0Q78M/ref=oh_details_o01_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
works flawlessly with the stock back cover, and then in my Seidio Surface kickstand case.
I use the same thing edouble312 posted and I use it in a Spigen Neo Hybrid case. I leave the original back cover off the phone so that the bump caused by the charger isn't so noticeable.
There are whole threads on wireless charging in the Note 3 accessories threads.
And that works with the Samsung official pad yes? Just starting to dabble into the wireless thing...

Going to have to give that one a try.

Works pretty good, using it with a Zens Qi charging pad, except for auto shutoff of charging.

Otterbox Defender Case

Has anyone tried the Otterbox Defender for the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014? I would like to know if it adds a major amount of thickness to the tablet and how does the stand work?
I couldn't get a hold of it yet. So far it's only available online. Waiting for reviews..
I'd like to know as well.. can't seem to find any reviews.. even on YouTube.

Wait there is an otterbox for the tablet now? I was starting to think they weren't going to release one so I bought the Trident Kraken. Great, just past the 30 day mark too

Thanks!
Been using this case since it's release and I love the durability it gives the tablet for working in the construction industry but it does just about double the thickness of the case. The stand is more or less a cover that can snap on the front or back of the tablet to add protection to the screen while traveling. Look up reviews for the iPad defender case as it is pretty much identical in function. I can try and get some pics of it later if someone wants it.

photo review would be very very nice.
although I love otterbox (had it for my hp winmo) the price is very expensive and I don't think I can justify buying it.

I'm typing on it right now- case is solid and stand works great but Has a like bulky but worth it.
Yes they are expensive but cheaper than a repair. This tablet is stupidly fragile. I should know screen cracked yesterday. Put a screen protector on it to smooth glass. All kinds of bubbles from glass shards and the inside is really dusty due to having to reapply because stupid glass shards
