Anyone tried the cheap Orzly accessories? - Nexus 5 Accessories

I came across this brand on Amazon UK, they do a wide range of accessories (which often clone other popular accessories) at a discount price. Here are a few examples.
http://amzn.to/1guMyhi
Fusion Gel Hard Case - clearly a replica of the Rearth Ringke Fusion but a bit cheaper and comes with screen protectors
http://amzn.to/1bfgM2g
Tough case only £6
http://amzn.to/1ausDGW
Flip wallet case with stand only £5
http://amzn.to/1guN66M
Tempered glass screen protector only £5, have ordered one of these myself
http://amzn.to/1bPd8QI
Wallet case less than £4 delivered
10 cases for £10 http://amzn.to/1jSbOeV
They also do a range of basic cases for as little as £1.50. Has anyone got any hands on experience with any of these? I'm interested in knowing what the quality is like.
Bonus: here's a pack of 5 screen protectors for £1 delivered, not by Orzly though http://amzn.to/1auus6J

Let me know what the screen protector is like

Good test and write up about screen protectors.

Short story - plastic ones good for impact protection - glass ones for scratch
I went for the excellent spg ones as I always do

I ve ordered a tempered Glass screen protector for nexus 5 from ebay . co. Uk
Inviato dal mio Nexus 5 utilizzando Tapatalk

My orzly glass screen protector finally shipped yesterday so hopefully will arrive this week.

Thanks for the links, some good cases in there for good prices. Might have to give them a go for my Nexus 5:good:

I ordered a cheap Orzly TPU Gel case with 2 screen protectors from this seller for 99p.
The screen protectors aren't the right ones. On the other hand, the seller has since emailed saying that they are aware that the wrong screen protectors have been sent out, and that they will be sending out the correct ones as soon as they have them.
More disappointingly the case doesn't fit. It's too short - probably only by a millimetre, but no amount of stretching will get it to stay on the phone.
Think I will be asking for a refund.
Edit: The s-line gel case I have fits fine.

I've just recived the Orzly Fusion Gel Hard Case.
Bought from Amazon here.
The case is solid and fits perfectly the phone, the border comes out for like 1mm so that if the phone falls down face down it will not hit the screen, same for the back so that you can place the phone face up on any surface without the fear of scratching the camera lens.
Volume buttons are ok, power button is still good but a little bit harder to press than the volume buttons (you'll have to use your nail).
Attached are some pictures.

My tempered glass screen protector arrived yesterday but unfortunately arrived damaged, they issued a refund.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Orzly®-Fusion-SmartPhone-Includes-Protectors/dp/B00GDH4AL4/
4.99£ with amazon prime, I'm really itching to go for it but worried about the power button being harder to press...

I've ordered the carbon fibre style wallet case and it should come this week (before my phone does... ). Maybe I'll remember to post here about it or make a thread on its own.
They recently added to the description a 'sleep/wake' functionality. I do hope that's the case.

Totally agree.
I've received mine, a white one. Cheap doesn't mean ****, screen protector touch is really nice, case fits perfectly. However, as you say, power button is a bit harder, still I'm using Cataclysm Rom "volume button to wake" feature, so it really don't bother me
Sorry for my english !
Cheers from France o/~

So my carbon fiber look wallet case arrived this morning. For the price of it I can't really complain. It feels good, it sleeps/wakes the phone upon open and close, the latch magnet works both ways to when the case is open as a stand or closed the latch keeps itself out of the way.
I'm not really sure what else to say. If any of you have questions then feel free to ask.

I got my tempered glass screen protector and it is very good with one tiny exception about 0.5 cm south of the home button where it formed what looks like a bubble that just won't stick to the screen underneath. Still recommend it as everywhere else on the screen you can't tell there is a protector on.

Screen + Body Protector ?

I was trying to find screen protector for HTC aria and all i found is from ebay. Zagg invisible shield dont even have it yet
On the zagging you could order the hd mini and cut for the optical
being a user of zagg on previous phones i can't imagine it playing very nice with a touchscreen.
Screen + Protector?
Try Amazon.com the screen protector product is made by Amzer for the HTC Aria.
I am a new user so I can't post the link.
I just purchased the screen protector from AT&T and the edges on all 4 corners protrude ... when I put the back case back on it pushed each corner up.
Has anyone else had problems with the AT&T protectors?

Keep in mind that the Amzer protectors don't ship until 7/13 (according to their website).
Me? I'll probably go the HD Mini protector + hole punch DIY route that others are suggesting. Too many opportunities to scuff up my screen with kids in the house.
Regards,
Corporate Dog
I have the same problem with the screen protectors I got when I bought my Aria. I will apply another one tomorrow and cut the edges before I apply.
Zagg are great for touch screen
I have been using Zagg's stuff on my old iPhone and my wife's iPhone and they worked great. I actually prefer the feel with the invisible shield applied. I am bummed that they don't have one that is designed for the Aria yet. Anyone actually tried the HD mini one with success?
I got the Amzer® Rubberized Black Snap On Crystal Hard Case for HTC Aria. It doesn't ship 'till 7/13, but that's only 2 weeks, so I can live with that. I got this case because it's like a soft/hard case, and I think that will work better than an all-hard or an all-soft case. Then I got a Gadget Guard screen protector. I was originally going to get an Amzer screen protector, but I read reviews saying Amzer's screen protectors are really bad. Hopefully, their cases will be okay. This is the only company so far I've seen that are making cases for HTC Aria. I didn't know what AT&T had because I bought mine at Best Buy. Btw, from Best Buy, you don't need to do the rebates, because they already include it in their price.
as for the screen protector i got a package of 4 universal screen protectors
from there I took a hole punch to make a whole for the optical button then applied the screen protector to the phone without the case and trimmed it with a razor blade.

Zagg has one up on their site now. Just ordered mine.
Figure it's time to star contributing /something/ here, instead of just lurking.
zagg is now selling screen protector, or full body protectors
Edit... aww eff someone beat me to it... same reasoning as well.... sigh... haha
Has anyone ever used the Phantom Skinz?
I briefly tried a Zagg Invisible Shield (invisible my ass) on my previous phone and it made the screen noticeably less clear and it was very hard to clean pocket lint off of it because it was so grippy.

I used to use them on all my blackberrys. You just dip them in water and apply it to your device. To me they all look the same, I would say that phantom is not as thick as zagg but performs just as well.
Does anyone have feedback on the zagg cover for the back of the aria? I am surprised that they even make it since its got a rubberized type coating. The screen protector is a must do, but the back I cant see for the aria.
Of course they come out with the specific cover days after I buy a different one and cut to fit. Dohhhhhhhhh!
Another thumbs up for Phantomskins. Easy ordering, fast shipping, easy installation.
For the first 24hrs or so, (Dry-ish california weather) the screen touch sensation is a bit grippy, but after a day or so it becomes slick again.
I ordered front only as I see no need to protect the back, and if there is a very nice case one day I will get that anyway. My immediate problem was protecting the glass front. So I ordered just the front skin, which covers the entire phone front as shown on the phantomskin website.
After drying, viewed at an angle the surface appears wavy but viewed straight on it is perfectly invisible. Skin fits aria perfectly.

Tempered Armor Glass Screen Protector

Tempered Armor just launched their Galaxy S3 tempered glass screen protector December 2nd. Saw a review video for their Note 3 protector and absolutely loved it (Link if curious: http://youtu.be/Qzhst5jrBtI). I picked it up the same day it released.
It came in two days ago and of course I install it immediately. At first, I thought great, the adhesive is doing it's thing. Then, once I took the blue plastic cover off, the disappointment set it. At a nearly uniform distance completely around the protector, the adhesive doesn't stick. I had used their packaged microfiber and their packaged isopropyl wipes for the install. Thought cool, maybe it will take a few days. And fast forward to today, it still looks the same.
If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know. I love how it feels; I've always hated those crappy plastic protectors.
I reached out to Tempered Armor via Twitter and got no help other than them claiming it was user error and/ or the alignment is off. I sent them a Dropbox link with pictures of the alignment and they came back with the protector won't work if it is "off a hair".
Here's our Twitter conversation: https://twitter.com/temperedarmor/status/413801200866574336
Here's the Dropbox link: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/i6wur2j57ql99c7/qyw6TAEb_y
So if you are thinking about ordering one, make sure you have a micron microscope to get it aligned correctly.
Meh,
I have had similar problems with SProtectors. I do believe that the glass on most S3's have a slight curve at the outer edge.
Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk
Whenever I press down on the outside edge, it feels like the glass protector doesn't even try to stick. I feel like the adhesive wasn't properly applied to the protector before shipping.
What really got me was when customer support mentioned if it was "off a hair" it wouldn't sit right. How are you going to sell a screen protector that has a fault tolerance in alignment of a width of a hair?
Typical lack of customer service or care. This why I try to support companies like, Anker, zero lemon, Amazon. They actually care about quality and their customers. As info,
We have 3 galaxy S3 in my home and all have a slight curve downward at the edges.

I love tempered glass screen protectors. But why spend that much money on that one. I got mine off Ebay and they look way better than the one posted in the OP. The one I have sticks all the way around.
here's an example of one... (not sure which seller I bought from. it's been a several weeks since I ordered.)

I knew of the owner of the company from my days as an iPhone modder. Thought he would be a bit more "in touch" with the community and more helpful than "nope, you broke it. lalalalala can't hear you".

The one I have is .3, so just a bit thinner. on all of the cases I have used, it doesn't interfere with the case. I have used it with the Otterbox Commuter case and it looks fine. Right now, I'm using it with a rubber/plastic case that I found at Walgreen's of all places. There is usually a small gap between the edge of the screen protector and the case. I'll see if I can get a picture up
EDIT
Here's mine with a case and the glass screen on it (sorry pic quality is bad, taken with an Ipad, of course)

Whenever i put a screen protector on my s3 the touch screen glitches, key presses al over the screen like whenever i press the app drawer it opens my notification bar, whenever i type something it scrolls up,so does that have anything to do with the quality of the screen protector?

Which glass screen protector?

Hi,
I've had a Nillkin glass screen protector on for a few months, and the glass has slowly started to lose its sticky around the corners and keeps air bubbles all the time. It's also got a slight chip on one of the edges.
So I'm looking for a replacement, preferably one that doesn't have a cut out for the light sensor.
I don't particularly want to pay £30 for a spigen one, especially if it goes the same way after a couple of months. So I'm looking for around £15/$20. At the moment I'm looking at the Glass-M one, but would appreciate some other recommendations? Ideally one available in the uk that I don't have to import from the states or HK.
Thanks
Here's a good start, on top of the many threads specific to the different brands:

I can recommend the Glass-M 0.15mm glass. Great fit and feels great on being so thin. I purchased from a Hong Kong seller on eBay for £9.50 delivered and delivery was only 1 week or thereabouts.
thanks
Thanks for the links =)
I was looking for a Nillkin tempered glass because it's way cheaper than Spigen, but then, after reading some reviews about webs spider and other issues, I decided to buy the glass-m 0.15mm for a few more bucks.
I am very happy with my choice, it's perfect
Well, im looking for one glass too... I have been looking for the shield armor one (or something like that, I don't remember the name of it) I see many reviews and looks like works very good on the iPhone... I don't know if buy it or no (25$), what you say?

Thanks for the replies - can I just confirm the GlassM one doesn't have the cut-out for the light sensor?
Also, would the thinness of this not go against any additional protection from dropping that the glass ones tend to offer?

The Glass-M only has a cut out for the earpiece.
With regard to drop protection. I don't think there will be much in it. A serious drop on any glass protector will break it I believe. Its mainly for scuff and scratch protection. I went for the thin 0.15mm option because I wanted the phone to be as close to naked as possible.

I'm more thinking about the screen underneath the protector. Although not guaranteed, the "extra protection" offered by a glass protector is one of the draws for me.

I'm not sure a glass protector will protect much against a drop onto a concrete or hard surface from height. I think it all depends on how it lands, the glass protector will protect against scratches and scuffs should it survive the impact from the fall.
I'll tell you which one NOT to buy.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/400653222919?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649
The cutouts are on the wrong side of the screen protector. It would have fit perfectly if it werent for this issue. The adhesive side has both cutouts on the wrong side of the protector, its like it was made backwards. Seemed good quality for 8 bucks but its unusable.
As this thread is dedicated to glass screen protectors, does anyone use a glass screen pro with a tpu case?
I'm tempted by the iloome flex but unsure if my case will case the protector to raise at the edges
I'm using the Anker glass screen protector - it feels better than the stock screen and when the coating rubs off or it gets broken/scratched you can replace it with another one for around £12. I've already had the stock Nexus 5 screen coating rub off.
No drop in image quality at all. I really wasn't sure about it but there is no downside to it.
It works perfectly well with my Nexus 5 Cruzerlite TPU Case (A2) and the combination means the phone is pretty much bullet proof whilst still being slim and lightweight.

It seems that Huawei P20 cases are already out and available to order! Some P20 phones have been delivered and some still on pre orders!

I had one delivered today, unfortunately the cut out for the charging port is slightly too shallow and doesn't allow the cable to be inserted.

I have the same. Yes, I can also confirm they didn't cut properly on the charging port. This could have been a great case overall.
BUT, I can still charge the phone without removing the case (force to push the charging cable and sandwich the case)

I've bought the Spigen Rugged Armor case and I couldn't be much happier. Now I'm looking for a good tempered glass solution.
Came across this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YO07ijw5BEk
I have just received Nillkin Hard Glass. The glass itself is gr8 with very good oleophobyc cover but the instaling of it was nightmare because i decided to use the inbox stickers to hold the glass while applying. Those sickers glued of and everything was ruined. I have bybles and dust under glass.
I should use the duck tape to hold tye glass as i usualy do.
I have ordered next glass because of those stupid nillkin stickers
don't buy a luphiecase bumper, my GPS is not working anymore.
i'm loocking for a plasctic bumper now ;((
I also like use phone case for my mobile. Every three months change 1 phone case for my phone. It's so beautiful and make me phones so new. Different phone case let me feeling use difference phone. That's feelings so good!
ive had the Spigen Slim armor for this phone for a while and a tempered glass screen protector, case itself is well made and from my past experiences with spigen, i know my money has been well spent. Kickstand is sturdy and the case works well with the generic tempered glass i ordered. The edges of the case still sticks out even with a glass screen protector. Although expensive, i couldn't recommend it enough, 10/10
Clear TPU with great Camera protection

I dont care if the case will bounce on the table I just want to get a clear case (wanna see the back of the phone) that absolutelly protect the Cameras glass and metal frame!
Which case should I get?
Maybe:
Nillkin Nature
SPIGEN SGP LIQUID CRYSTAL
Or maybe an another one?
Thanks for the replies!

Yep. Mine was basically destroyed on day 1 with normal use.
Whitestone has a ez screen protector and also a liquid adhered protector. I have installed ez one without trouble since a few days before official release and it's still holding strong. You also get 2 for like $10 so you can't really beat it

Looks like it might have trouble fitting properly if used with a case. The black border looks problematic. Have you used it with a case and, if so, do you have any pics or comments on that? Thanks.
I'm trying to figure out the best front screen protector as well. I would prefer tempered glass but have only seen a couple and not in stock at the moment. Still have the stock one on it but it's starting to bubble and peel/Crack on the sides.
I'm using these white stone dome front tempered glass screen protector. I got two of them for $10. They work decent with a case. But make sure it is a minimalistic case like the Samsung carbon fiber.

I got my leather case (samsung one) today and love it. However as soon as i applied it the cover screen plastic protector came off in the edge so i just removed it.
since it seems pretty thick on the inside - is there any 9h glass available yet which fits with the case? Or can i go to a samsung store and they reapply the plastic one on the cover screen?
i dont mind paying
I'm using the Whitestone glass screen protector. NOT the EZ. I've used it on all my phones since it was first released, including I Note devices and the Z Fold 2.
I use this for Extra protection
Whitestone Dome Glass UV.

I'm using these white stone dome front tempered glass screen protector. I got two of them for $10. They work decent with a case. But make sure it is a minimalistic case like the Samsung carbon fiber.

I'm waiting on these to get delivered to me today actually. The stock one on my front screen is starting bubble and peel up on the side. My case kinda covers it up but the stock one is also picking up quite a few scratches. Hopefully these will do the job. Isn't that easy to fine a good tempered glass screen protector for this device. Spigen looks to be coming out with one but not available yet.

I had Spigen EZ for front screen and it is crap. Peeled off next day and applied Whitestone Dome.

Hmm, not sure what that one is. I haven't seen a front screen protector from Spigen anywhere. The one I was referring to is the one below, which is the only one on their site and doesn't appear to be out yet since it says coming soon.
Galaxy Z Fold 3 Screen Protector GLAS.tR Full Cover Glass + Hinge Film
Shield your Galaxy Z Fold 3 with our premium tempered glass full cover Screen Protector. The Full Cover Glass screen protector is the ultimate solution for screen defense to ensure a flawless fit with seamless case compatibility.

Yeah, exactly this one. My mistake I wrote EZ.
In UK is available from Amazon.
Anyone got a recommendation for a good case? Id normally use Spigen but some of their case prices are ambitious to say the least.

I'm using the Ringke Slim and I really like it. I ordered the Spigen S Pen case, but it won't ship for another week or so. Looks bigger than I'd like, but definitely need something I can switch to when I really need to carry the S Pen and don't want to have it loose in a pocket.
I also ordered the official Samsung Aramid case (which also won't arrive for another week or two). Based on the reports I've read and the pics I've seen, the Aramid appears to be the slimmest case available for the ZF3. I hate bulky cases, especially on a device that's as large as the ZF3, so I'm guessing I'll probably settle on the Aramid for 90% of my daily use.

Thanks buddy, how are you finding the ringke slim? I was keen on that until i read a few amazon reviews mentioning the case had scratched their devices? Have you had any such issue? Would be good to hear if you used the sticky pads and if they are easy/hard to remove.

Great case. No scratches. Not sure how anyone scratched their Fold with this case. You'd have to be pretty damn careless to do that. I used the adhesive strips.
