You cannot, it is only being compiled in ROM's. You could maybe rip it out of my ROM and add it to one of @Cl3Kener's AwesomeKernel zips. Or compile it yourself. Source is listed,

Thanks Dude, wouldn't rip anything out of it buddy. I am no where near a dev. I can wait till a kernel is released for 4.4

It isn't going to built as a stand alone Kernel zip. Closest is His Awesome Kernel I believe.

Cm bug .

try a reboot a few times with on luck. looks like I will have to wait till this is fixed.

Try installing apk in apps and changing permissions.

OK this works
shadabt posted this:
If anyone is having issues installing apps from your SD card just copy them into /data/app/ and change the permissions.
AdAway works perfectly.
Edit: I have done this with a few more apps. Some force close, but I'm still getting a lot of apps installed this way.
I think you mean system/app to install the APKs from SD card.

Q - WHAT IN THE WORLD is Linaro?
A - I could go on and on about what Linaro is and bore the masses with facts and this and that BUT I won't!
Basically, linaro is just improvements done to the kernel and the ROM. These improvements are done by optimizing the GNU compiler collection (GCC) toolchain, the kernel, ARM power management, graphics and multimedia interfaces.
Q - What is Linaro going to do to this ROM?
A - Well it will do a few things to the ROM but one thing it won't do is, it won't increase the performance by 200 percent like you first heard when Linaro came out! It will indeed make things snappier. You will notice apps opening up a bit faster and in some cases, it will make a few of them run smoother. You will also see an increase in benchmarks (useless but fun to show off...lol) compare to a ROM not optimized by linaro by overclocking your device but I would recommend you not do this as this will also cause your battery to drain.
Q - I flashed the ROM and now I have an issue, what should I do?
A - Don't freak out! Pull a logcat and paste it on to pastebin and provide me a link in the thread to it. Along with the logcat, please provide me with as much information as possible. Things that you would think could help me fix this issue.....i.e what kernel you're running, what happened, what did you prior to the bug/issue.
Q - How do I pull a logcat?
A - Check out this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1726238
Q - Do I have to wipe before flashing??
A - YES, even if you're coming from a previous version of this ROM. By doing a full wipe each time, it not only avoids any issues that come from not wiping BUT if you report an issue, I then know that is a legit problem and not because of lack of wiping.
Q - I see (Insert developer name) has fixed this or has added this feature, are you going to do the same?
A - NO! No disrespect to that developer but I have not and will not keep up with what other developers are doing. I will work and update this thread at my own pace.

Mine just in case

reserved just in case I need it
WOO HOO!!! Glad you got it ported!!!

[ROM-JB][Aroma] CvD-Nibbles 1.6 ~ Custom Kernel ~ GAPPS (1-19-13)

Base: CM10 JellyBean - Nightly
Kernel: Nibbles v0.1.5 (hercules port)
Installer: Aroma
Source Sync & Build Date: 1.18.13
Release Date: 1.19.13
Release Version: v1.6
IntroductionBack with ANOTHER port! Guys, make sure that before you even proceed with reading, you go HERE and hit that thanks button for car vs driver! Me and him would appreciate that because he is the one who originally created this ROM. So seriously... DO NOT GO ON WITHOUT DOING THAT! Thanks guys

FeaturesPacked full of yummy goodness, stability and speed, this ROM is intended to be a daily driver. This is not a test, experiment or buggy piece of nonsense. I started with CM10 Jellybean-Stable and added numerous enhancements to improve speed, stability and battery life. Installation is a breeze with Aroma, choose which options and applications you want to have - or run it again to install any apps you may have missed (without having to reflash the ROM).
Please read the first three posts completely, then read them again before you flash this for the first time. Any notable bugs are located in the post below. If you experience any issues that have not been reported already, please post to the thread. Thanks!

Click to collapse
Installation Made Easy:Just download the zip and flash it. The Aroma installer will guide you through a multitude of options, including different launchers, application choices and system options. If you prefer a no fuss installation, there's even an option for a pre-configured base installation. Lastly, if you decide to install any apps you previously chose not to, simply flash the zip and choose the application installer option.

Included Applications:Google Apps 4.1, ROM Manager, Root File Explorer, Accuweather, DSP Manager with BEATS Audio, Goo.im and more! The ROM also includes the new UCLK4 radio as an optional installation.
Under the hood are numerous script tweaks, system tweaks and enhancements to balance performance, stability and usability.

Nibbles Kernel:Ported by ayysir to the Hercules, please give him thanks HERE
The Nibbles kernel includes a LOT of new features that cater to all users who want to get the most out of their device. I've included many popular CPU Governors and I/O schedulers to support a wide variety of uses. Additionally, I've made lots of other fundamental changes to the kernel to better balance battery and performance (well beyond what you can do with a handful of scripts) as well as implementing over clocking the CPU to 1.782GHz, Under/Over Volting the CPU at each frequency step and over clocking the GPU.
CPU Governors: intellidemand, pegasusq, gallimaurfy, interactivex, smartassv2, wheatley, interactive, conservative, userspace, ondemand, performance
I/O Schedulers: noop, deadline, cfq, sio, vr, bfq
Right now, we only have the Stock GPU Speed version available!

Disclaimer: This rom will not prevent a zombie apacalypse. It may however, aid you in the event of an apacalypse by providing stability, battery and smooth cellular operation. By flashing this, your phone should still work ... and as an added bonus, it'll likely work better than your stock rom. If your phone bricks, build a house. By flashing this rom, you agree to have your phone powered by beer and tiny nibbles.

Known Bugs:
Bluetooth may crash the first time you open it. Just relaunch and it should be fine. I don't have a means to test bluetooth, if someone wants to offer up a fix, PM me or CvD.
Things of note:
Double check your APN settings after flashing to make sure you're on LTE and it's all correct.
First boot will be slow, have patience. It may take a couple minutes. Subsequent reboots should fly.
If you set your CPU to 196MHz, you will notice some lag when waking up the phone. This is particularly true if you have a live wallpaper.
After first boot, hit the volume rocker to wake up the sound. (This should no longer be an issue)
Changelog InformationThis is obviously where the changelog is This will be set up a bit differently from CvD's or any other one. The changes under the BLUE text are what I, ..Cory.., changed. The changes under the RED text are what CvD changed. My changes will only be ones to improve stability for our phones and I try to make sure all work by CvD is untouched to bring you the full experience he intended to bring!

The post somehow failed, so the timestamp (time when the post was posted) has had 0 for value... And as the timestamp is the numbers of seconds spent from the 1st January 1970 01:00, xda app thought it was posted this day
Anyway, great thanks eoghan for your work ! And thanks to crossfire77 too... Will you add YouTube fix for a next version of your kernel ?

:good:
(@OP, it might be a good idea to add this to the first post) There IS ROOT access. To enable root access, go to "settings>about phone" tap "build number" around 10 times. Then go back to settings, and tap on "developer options" and enable root access. BUT for TiBu, you will need to flash the superuser zip from a few posts above mine.
Edit: I will quote the post for less confusion.
