[Q] Will my OneX+ battery recover from reading 550mV? - HTC One X

For full detials of my fault please see this thread.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2522409
Basically my OneX turned itself off and wont start and the battery read just under 500mV, I purchased a OneX+ battery and changed them over. This new battery also read just under 500mV and after being on charge for over a day still only says 550mV.
Will the battery recover?
Is the phone reporting the voltage correctly?
Is the phone killing batteries?
Phone is a totally stock OneX.

Thank you for your input but I don't see how I have made a double post.
My first post asked for a way to revive the phone, battery voltage was a bi-product of the procedures advised.
The second post was a question regarding battery voltage and a link to the original post was provided to give background to the request for battery information.

Yeah so making a new thread is useless...you are now spreading info over 2 threads !
And you have been covering the new batt issue there too ....
Sometimes it's truly hopeless

I made the new thread in the hope that people with battery knowledge may see it, not every user will read my other post.
I've read the rules and can't see what your problem is.

Update the title of the first thread and post the message in there. Done !
No need to make a sec.....a well nevermind.

I require information to both questions so unless a forum mod wants to remove them I'll leave them where they are thank you. :good:
I think I've just met the forum troll.

Hahah forum troll.....you clearly have no clue what i have done and doing here in the Q&A section. Think twice before calling me a troll. I will leave it to that

You already have a great thread to get help and troubleshooting with your battery issue. At this point there is not any reason to start this new thread.
For this reason this thread is closed

PLEASE MAKE A MOVE THREAD BUTTON FOR OPs

We need this more than anything
Looking around xda seeing loads of locked threads and threads asking for help in the development section are just...annoying. And they look bad on the op.
If users were given the option to move there threads to the general section of that forum we could save moderator time and people the embarrassment of a little mistake. It would make sense to grant only the OP this option (and mods) and maybe a report move button that would inform a mod or do an automatic public vote.
This would also allow users with more....neglected forums (such as the Wildfire S to be able to have control over their forum where mods can't due to man power)
Come on xda, let's see this happen.

Just report them and let your friendly Mods handle it. That's what we're here for

I wouldn't say ignored Your FSM has seven fora to look after, a couple of which would class as high activity.
Oh. Also, that's Shen from XDA TV so he is definitely a busy fella!
Do you report often? I notice CTM has said in the very forum that you are welcome to PM him with queries.
Its not gonna happen but I will add it to my favs and check in now and then and try to keep it cleaned

Well let me see. Subscribed to over 3500 threads that i get emails update on every day, around 600 pms on a slow day about issues, and 6 hours of cleaning up after people. Thats even before i do anything for my device. So yeah it can be but it is a labor of love.
Do you know how much trouble that would cause? If they cant get it right the first time, who's to say they will the next?

Couldn't be any worse than it is now. Hell half the time the mods aren't in agreement on where a thread goes. It happens a lot and it has happened to me. I post. Some mod moves it. Another mod sees it and thinks it is the wrong place and closes the thread! Lol

i would love to see this too. i mistakenly post stuff sometimes and want to move stuff. i just became a senior member and would eventually like to become a mod and developer. moving threads is becoming a must for me. it would be awesome to see what i can do, but need to learn the basics.
This would likely cause more issues than it would solve. Right now the system works pretty well - if you post in the wrong forum you can always report your own thread and ask for it to be moved.

ive bricked my phone plz help

can u help I brick my phone and it doesn't work and because I did something called an ruu but it crashed and blew up
I didn't really brick my phone, that would be silly. I just wanted to get a rough estimate on how long a reply in the general section takes since I see every question always answered here.

Well you could have opened up an older thread and checked the time of the post and the time of reply. The forum is already filled with junk.

And your adding to it. So shut up and don't post unless you have something constructive to say. This is to answer somebody's question where they posted something and asked how long it would take doy an answer in this forum.

How
Sent from my HTC One V using xda premium
PM someone or post in the right section... or google saving battery life android.. You have so many options lol /facepalm
write in the right sections, and be patient for the reply there. if you are not answered as soon as possible or as you wish or hoped you should be, that would probably mean that you should do a search about your question first. now, as long as your posting here in the dev section, might as well look into the available kernels for the device, titanium kernel is pretty solid together with the SuPrimo rom. got 1% drain for 6 hours that it was idle.
and please follow the forum rules, it's there for a purpose...
This is the 2nd time you posted bull**** in the dev section...infarction!!

The HTC International Team don't allow any Off Topic threads and this one is no different.
If you want to be off topic and have a chat, go and check out the Off-Topic forum. I'm sure you'll find loads of threads over there which will cater to your needs.

Now when HTC is rolling out KitKat to HTC One users is there any possibility of a port for our HOX?

...and the point of this whole thread in the end was ?
That users need to read more and post less in the wrong sections ?
Whats with the hostility?
Is it that bad that a user asks a question in the wrong sub-forum? If you're going to help a user, post.
If you're not going to help, don't post. Its as simple as that.
If it bothers you, report the thread (which none of you did), and we'll move it.
