Sony was making this version over month but the firmware is still a little underdeveloped.
Sony should fix these bugs:
-volume of sound is too low(calls, music, ringtones)
-Sony don't fix calibration of dispaly
-why the top and the bottom bar is gray, not black???
-front camera has poor sharpness, blurring in the corners
-rear camera is a little better, but still not perfect
-call quality and GSM/UMTS range isn't to good
I DO have the Sony XPERIA C1905 15.1.C.2.8 fw available in PC Companion ready for upgrade. (APAC region - Malaysia)
Don't want to upgrade as I'm not a first adopter, so I'll wait until someone else upgrades and reports back in some meaningful way.
Be interesting to read what or if there is any real changes to the existing 15.1.C.1.17 fw
Guess @icoolguy1995 will be rolling his eyes when he sees this firmware thread pop up.

Yeah, I have experienced the same problems. Especially sound, it is a little too low when hearing through headphones. A message pops up saying if you hear it too loud for a long time it can damage your ears while I can barely hear the sound.

Sorry you! fw 15.1.C.2.8 fix camera (beauti than C.1.17), fix suond. i update new fw, on menu has app SuperSu (but can't open). i unistall, and root successfully (framaroot V1.6.0), i update for PCC.

SEUS Fail
So this happened to me the second time now (same phone).. everytime I update using SEUS it fails after the file has been downloaded and is being pushed into the phone. I'm pretty sure once my phone has been "repaired" it will come out factory again. If this happens a third time Im going all CFW from then on

It's Generic NL, but we always get updates amongst the first ones, and it's a nice and clean ROM.
Just so you know, Generic World doesn't exist. I know the service tool reports it, but only EMMA reports the right region names. It's probably just a Generic Country version.

Thanks, I had no idea! My phone was running the CH .452 ROM before and the customization code is the same after the update, so I guess that's the version then.

It's much smoother, I get no lags or redraws now, or the Launcher restarting, .452 was quite annoying from that point of view, even with the build.prop tweak.
I noticed it didn't enter deep sleep properly at first (flashed it without wiping data), but I reset the battery (power+volume up) and I'm not having that problem anymore.
Battery life seems to be on par with .452, maybe a bit better. WiFi signal is still weaker than it was on Gingerbread.

my phone states its build as 6.1.a.0.452 and the update im coming from is 6.1.a.2.45. how do i know which of these to download? because i opened the bootloader and the phone wont install the update on its own. i dont want to brick it so i would like to know if you could guide me, thanks

Friends Greetings I am from Venezuela, Buy for Amzon Lt26i model factory unlocked international version, I was surprised that the encederlo came with version 4.0.4 build 6.0.A.2.45 and everything perfect but not grab the phone or data signal by setting apn manually or by an option to automatically xperia was reading a post from Sony that this build had problems with the data stream so the 6.0.A.2.50 flash and nothing I still am with the data now 6.0.A. 0452 to see if I take all this data seems very strange I can help, the band 3G and H + from my operator is 1900MHz

ok so I installed it. someone sent me a way to make FTF files from a windows PC but I have a mac and Sony Bridge for mac, so I don't know how to do it from there :S
the update is really smooth and I haven't noticed any issues except maybe that album won't recognize most of my photos even though they are there (I can see them from astro file manage).
interestingly, this has Timescape and not SocialLife.
you can hear the camera refocusing in the videos you record.. that continuous autofocus thing it has, you can hear it ._. that's the only bad thing about the update.

i just saw new firmware on PC Companion, have anyone upgrade to this Firmware 10.3.1.A.0.244 ?
Changelog :-
1. Album app taking a bit time to load pics ( even from UHS Class 10 card ).
2. 3G Signal strength improved.
3. Touch response is improved a lot
4. Battery dropped by 2% During test and a lot heated during test.
5. Sleep and Wake is a bit faster now.
6. Camera Image quality in dark improved.
7. Changes in car mode app.
8. No screen flickering now.
9. No unusual battery reading bug till now. Booted twice in between 30-20% battery and having no issues.

Sony Mobile updated the version of its Walkman application earlier today moving the build number to 9.0.0.A.0.1
Sony explains that “The Walkman app is changing its name to Music – because that’s what it is all about”.
Walkman application which moves the build number from 8.5.A.3.3 to version 9.0.0.A.0.1.
The New update now allows Android Wear users to view songs within their synchronized playlist and to start playback from any song in a playlist.

Are you have custom rom???/....in many custom rom update service are disable

Oh! Did not know that, I did flash 23.0.1.A.5.77 Customized_UK, I was wondering what rom I should use because I don't really know what brand to use.
I am from Sweden and only I saw Flashtool have was newest rom for Telenor or 3, I guess there is no different but I saw 3 have there logo on bootanimation which I did not want to have.
So only way to resolve update service is to flash to some of those branded rom?
This version is workin on Samsung devices as well.
I just tested it on Note 4 and it's working great.

But there is nothing wrong with my visualiser, I did not say that I have that problem. Everything works fine for me on this Walkman update.
It was about Sony update service on phone that I did not get any notification about update. And maybe it was because of the customize firmware.

Thank you for posting this! My phone has unlocked bootloader so I think it stopped receiving official updates, but having better Wear support is awesome.
Is there any way to get the Sony updater app to work even with an unlocked bootloader?

9.0.0.A.0.1 is no longer beta as its been pushed out by sony and also available on apkmirror there is a new beta out with build number 9.0.1.A.1.0beta
since beta version i've been using it
