well, this seems to be pretty much exactly what i want...
but why doesn't it want to connect to my wifi when the ssid is hidden? it worked fine with cna 3.6.6 and aokp mr1, but purity will not connect unless i enable ssid broadcast, which i refuse to do.
sup with that?

Try the purity kernel 012. Not sure if that would fix this but either way worth it.

i've never had to before, but i just set it to US, changed to Canada, then back to US. still nothing.

Did you try to change WiFi area code, disconnect and re connect?
Just flashed the rom, I been following purity for maguro, wishing we had it on toro,... and now we do! Thank you! However, I have one question. I hadn't flashed another kernel ( currently running AK dummy ed 532), but I do not see my 5ghz network. Is this a rom issue or a kernel issue? I just came PA but I wasn't running AK's on it... so... I have too many variables to know for sure.

Don't whine about bad battery life IF YOU are using any custom kernel, this ROM is using CM's kernel which is modified and battery life is great and I don't recommend to use any custom kernel if you want to keep battery life great.

Ok and thanks.
Well if there is someone who understands Estonian can translate and fix translations easier, but of course anyone else can do it too but I don't really want any wrong translations to Estonian language on this ROM and e.g. Google Translator will not translate correctly many things which is annoying.
And if someone is going to translate that file then e.g. S III's AOSP ROM maybe has good and maybe similar lines..
EDIT: I need tranlslator for Android .xml files! Baylon and Reverso are not for Android .xml translating. :/

Id be careful with bravia, there are speculations it may cause lags and some slowness.. but, I usually use it with any ROM I flash and havent had any problems.

I haven't checked your Bravia Engine files in your ROM!
I searched form Google of Bravia Engine and BE2 files and I found one for Galaxy Ace with libiwi*.so files
others are from Xperia Z and few maybe were from Xperia V, I don't remember because I mess with many things at the same time..
Also I have noticed it's not working correctly like how it worked on my another ROM Blue Fear, in that I saw clear difference but now I can't see and I don't remember the files that I used.. :/
Btw. I have not had any lags! ^^

This is easily one of the fastest ROMs for manta. Its really flying now that I enabled init.d and added my custom tweaks.
halrulez - I don't have this leak issue so I can only tell you that if the issue exists it won't be fixed until 4.3 based on what everyone had been saying. I probably don't suffer from it because I use aggressive allocation settings.

That issue is happening on several ROMS, seems to be caused by -O3 optimization. Does the fix involve removing -O3? Hope not, loving the speed of this beast.

That is strange. Is it something in a newer toolchain that when -O3 is used breaks something? Because we have had -O3 ROMs for a very long time now with no issues until recently.

We are using experimental gcc 4.8.1 from codefirex. We will look into it.

For AOSP 17k is really good. It's common with Trinity and AOKP/CM linaro ROMS. What is really great about this ROM is its AOSP, silky smooth right out of the gate, and has some decent customization options.
I think I will be able to get this to 18k in Antutu once I am done tweaking, will post screens of course.
Some other bench results:

Sure would love a peek at your tweak list... Don't need any help implementing them--just what values you use.
Can anyone with browser fc tell me the steps to reproduce it and maybe the logcat? Browsed Facebook and other sites and didn't experience any fc

Yeah, I plan on sharing my tweaks, I am going to be releasing my own Manta ROM later this week since I will finally have some time off from work. Until then I want to save them for the ROM.

Easiest way for me to reproduce on my rom is with Dolphin Browser. Can do other ways but that makes it easy for whatever reason.
It isn't an -O2 vs -O3 thing but at this point I do believe it is some parameter in 4.8 that wasn't on in 4.7 by default as it started in 4.8.
I've tried a lot to narrow it down but no help. Same build on grouper, no issue.
Most recently I've tried with -fno-unswitch-loops but doesn't seem to help.
Hopefully you make more progress than I did.
Im not at this ROM, mit at the moment, but we are all sitting in the same boat with -O3 Builds. The only Browser that works without closes is the laggy Chrome Beta. Maybe the normal Chrome works too, didnt test it. But AOSP, Ocean and Dolphin Browser closes on -O3 Builds.

I Have a D805 and always flash D802 ROMs. Everything works fine.
