The google and china have conflicts and my NOTE has no application of google, inlcuding play store and others. And not agreed to install any application from google also
I was unable to use odin to install a new official firmware from another country. Still the error appears "missing pit file"
Can someone help me?

Check Fus
First, can you kindly download Check Fus from Google Play, then run the application and post the results displayed by it (screenshots would be nice). It'll give useful information about your tablet and it's firmware.
EDIT: Please check my PM.

Why not use KIES to update the firmware?
That Odin is missing an ini file, I add it in the next post there (check the 4th post). Anyway, below I attached the ODIN that I use too.
For a list of all the firmware releases for your device check this link. To download the latest check this link. If you compare them with the details (PDA) from your Check Fus report, you can see you have the 1st firmware. You are 3 releases behind.
You can simply download the latest firmware and flash it, but before doing that I suggest you take a backup of your device, which is safe. Especially backing up the EFS Partition is very important. To do that you need to root the device, now more confused? I also same at the beginning, but I did lot of searching and reading in XDA and also in other forums. You can find answers to most of the questions without the need of posting the questions again. "Knowing is half the battle."

[Firmware] Stock "Nordic" I9250 ITL41F.XWKK9 firmware (Odin)

Not very new or exciting, but for those who for whatever reason want to go back to their Nordic yakjuxw firmware, here it is.
It requires I9250 Odin, which is also attached to this post.
Firmware download: (tar.md5 file, Unpack with 7-zip)
http://www.multiupload.com/2EUJIL7QV3
Source: modaco forum. Downloaded from Filesonic, joined, repackaged and uploaded to multiupload.
If the multiupload link doesn't work, you can always try downloading the original rar-files from the modaco forums and filesonic:
Original modaco thread.
My own neX-files mirror:
http://neXfiles.kjonigsen.net/firmware/xwkk9-odin/
If that doesn't work, I have a mirror on box.com here:
Part 1: http://www.box.com/s/g6p1h13nmo8j8l1jthcj
Part 2: http://www.box.com/s/eqyy9fqevc81omo70xe8
You only need this if the original multiupload link does not work.
I9250 Odin:
Attached to this post, but also downloadable from box.com
http://www.box.com/s/zsnje79s2y40b9b7c62s
Baseband is XXKK1.
To flash this follow the following guide:
1. Download file.
2. Unpack 7zip file. You should now have a 4-500MBish file with an extension of "tar.md5". Do NOT rename it or attempt to open.
3. Put your phone in Odin/Download-mode. To do this you have to power it off, then hold volume down and while keeping that pressed, press power. Your phone should boot into Odin/Download-mode. This should be reported on screen.
4. Connect your phone to your PC via USB.
5. Ensure your PC recognizes the phone as a valid "Gadget serial" device. If device manager is reporting new "Unknown devices" chances are Odin will not be able to connect to your Galaxy Nexus. If this happens, check chainfire's thread for more help on getting Odin and drivers working:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1394051
6. Disconnect your phone from the PC.
7. Start Odin as Administrator (not sure this is needed, but oh well)
8. Reconnect your phone to the PC. Observe that Odin recognizes the phone.
9. Choose the unpacked firmware file in the PDA section.
10. Choose the supplied PIT-file and make sure repartition is checked.
11. Click start.
12. Wait. Watch your phone reboot into stock.
Edit 2:
Added clarifications about which files are needed.
Stweet, always nice to have.
How does one use this with odin (never had a samsung device so Odin is pretty new to me).
I tried to flash it but it just reads the MD5 sum, and then quits.

Boot into download mode. Power off - vol down + power, should do it. Remember you need the samsung drivers for odin to recognize your GN.

Did you unpack the 7zip file? The file you use in Odin should have the extension "tar.md5".

Yes unpacked it and got that file.
Should Odin somehow recognize the phone?
And I put that file on the PDA box?

I honestly haven't tried this particular build myself, but everytime I've flashed a build via Odin (for my SGS1) it has wiped my setup.
If you use the provided PIT-file and check "repartition" you will 100% guaranteed wipe everything on your phone.
Sometimes this is overkill. Sometimes that's what you want (get to a known factory state, with no unknown weirdo artifacts from previous flashings).

If you have the correct drivers for your galaxy nexus, Odin should recognize the phone when it is in Odin/Download mode. (Power off. Hold volume-down. Press power-on).
If you are unsure about drivers, check chainfire's thread which has more details, more discussion and links to kown good drivers.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1394051
And yes. This should go in the PDA section in Odin.
Edit: Added a guide to the first post.

In general yakjuxw has a manufacutorer code of "Samsung" instead of "Google". This caused some people to get upset. See threads here on XDA in this very forum. That said, I honestly don't think anyone found any difference between the firmwares apart from that.
The yakjuxw.xwkk9 build was the "stock" firmware release in the Nordic countries in northern Europe. It supposedly has some regional customizations while waiting for full international support in ICS mainline. I've yet to discover what those customizations were though.
If you wonder what this firmware offers you if you want to run it right now, it probably offers nothing.
I've just posted this so that people who for whatever reason (warranty returns, receiving future "nordic" OTA updates should there be any etc) wants to return to "stock" for their particular region of the world, as opposed to the international/"US" stock version, will have that option.

I've read that various firmware revisions has been reported in around the world. There was a thread about this earlier here on XDA for those curious:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1384458
I don't think anyone has received any 100% specific information about what differences there are and where it was released, and for whom.

[Q] PIT file for GT-N5120

Hi all experts in this forum,
I am experiencing a NULL IMEI from my GT-N5120.
I suspect I lost the IMEI and baseband info (with a corrupted boot screen) from an act of wiping partition using TWRP 2.5.
This is the second time I got this and the first time I had Samsung replaced the hardware board. I have yet wanted to do this again.
I have backed up my EFS, with 2 different tools. Both do not able to restore IMEI for my case. Also, I am not able to get the Note8 USB detected properly (windows 7 x64) right after the corruption; the only chance I have is using ODIN (download mode) by draining the battery to 0% then power up with USB cable.
Here, I would like to find a PIT file for N5120. With this, I think of flashing with re-partition option then a restore of EFS.
Does anyone have a Odin PIT file for N5120? Appreciated!!

Many thanks for the offer.
Last night, in desperation (or in a moment of genius?), I solved my problem another way.....by restoring multiple partitions. [There are apparently 21 partitions on the N5120!]
You have nudged me into posting the solution here in the hope that it might help someone else :

I still haven't got/found the PIT file but happily I no longer need it.
Again, thanks for the offer.

Tab s 10.5 live demo unit.

Hi guys, I've just purchased a live demo unit off eBay and I'd like some guidance on flashing a normal stock rom so it becomes a standard wifi tab.
Is it just a case of booting into download mode and flashing a stock rom from sammobile ? I've read conflicting reports, one said do as above but another said I'd need a custom recovery like twrp to factory reset it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Kind regards steve
I doubt a demo unit has been rooted and changed rom. You probably just need to go to backup/restore in settings and reset to factory default.
Sent from my SM-T805 using XDA Free mobile app
So a simple boot to download mode and flash a stock firmware with odin?
To restore the factory defaults you don't need to boot in download mode.
Pull down the top menu, press the gear icon and open the general tab, there you find backup/restore, look at the bottom, there's restore factory defaults.
Hope this helps.
Sent from my SM-T805 using XDA Free mobile app
Thanks for the reply. This is a live demo unit for store use only, so I thought this option would be disabled to stop people in the shop from doing this? I'll certainly try your idea when the tab arrives. Cheers.
If anyone else has any input I'd appreciate all /any advice. I've had many tabs and flashed rom etc...but never a live demo unit and my desk isn't big enough for a 10.5" paper weight
As this is a demo unit I think you'll find you need to flash stock firmware.

I agree, but was thinking should I flash a stock kit kat rom 1st or can I jump straight to latest official lollipop build? Does it make any difference? Sorry for stupid questions but my experience with live demo units is zero. Any thoughts appreciated.
Sent from my SM-T320 using Tapatalk
Makes no difference.
UPDATE
Hi guys I'd thought I'd update my progress and would appreciate some suggestions on way forward .
Ok I flashed the latest btu lollipop rom via odin, all went smoothly and tab is now usable......sort of!
No finger print reader....to be expected i guess .
Lots of random apps like crazy taxi etc I can't delete .
Most weird of all is no multitasking button ( left of home button) I mean it lights up when back capacitive button used but won't work/light up when pressed.
So I think I need to install custom rom? Can I use flashify to install twrp? And then from there install custom rom? Do I need to root? If so which way is easiest?
Any help appreciated, I'm really out of practice at this stuff.
Cheers steve
Edit I need root for flashify, which way s easiest to root?
Edit 2 something isn't right as factory reset is greyed out, so I NEED root? And flash a custom recovery?
I'd forgotten the fun I used to have doing this stuff

Last update. Thank you so very much ashyx. I flashed your all in one root and recovery, worked beautifully, I then booted to recovery and did a factory reset.
I now have a fully functional WiFi tab S WITH finger print scanner and working multi task button, best of all I picked this mint unit up for £135 and with your help I got there.
Cheers buddy . Steve
So the shortest way to have SM-T800 is to flash all in one package, right? Can you help me to find the correct 'how to' for that please? Sorry for the stupid question.
@ashyx : where are the installation files of your "all in one package" ?
I have samsung galaxy tab s t800x .This is the live demo unit.I need the files exactly for this ,which one I have to use.By the way which way I wil do a full (rom) backup before starting ?
Thanks in advance.

If you want to convert to a retail unit just install my latest update of twrp 3.0.0-0 in the development section.
Factory reset in twrp then reboot to download and install the stock firmware.

That's what I mean by a retail unit.
A normal unit for regular use for retail sale not demo.
Just download your firmware from SamMobile and follow the steps in the previous post.

Hey Ash thanks for the " all in one " it works sweetly...donated too thanks for your work in this area, so I have done everything and finished but looking at storage it tells me its 8gb but I thought these tabs where 16 or 32gb.
Do you know if there is a locked partition with the retail files protected ?

Flash the PIT file along with the stock firmware this should give you back the correct partition size.

I have been trying to download a file that supposedly contains a ROM for my phone, from which I could extract the boot.img file needed for the rooting process. However, the link I have been provided with is showing a message saying "Forbidden", and I am unable to access it.
If anyone could provide me with a working link or guide me through an alternative method to obtain the boot.img file, I would greatly appreciate it.
Thank you in advance for your help.
Best regards,

I'll tell you what happened with my attempts. I downloaded the software, but it's in a .tctbin file format and I have no idea how to open it. None of the guides I found on the internet worked, so the only option left for me is to use a cable and the black box at the back of my phone where the partitions are located
the link you have shared is android 12 beta I assume, do not flash it to your phone, it works but has some issues especially fast battery drain and overheating problems. You can fallow this thread anayway
Flash TCL Firmware TPST Tool / Includes links to Official FW
(I can not take credit for this, copied from their site- however) see links for official flashing tools & directions and here are complete firmware links to official firmware: FIRMWARE Ottawa 3CI1.tctbin (9.1G) - (Android 11)...
