My suspicion is tun.ko module as I looked inside your zip contents. In fact, Radu's CM10.2 still requires that module in ROM by the path: /system/lib/modules.
Arco reverted compiling this module and your kernel source adapted in the same way.
But Radu's CM10.2 requires it...

I was too lazy to update into alpha 3 because im out of country and have to change my sim card to activate whatsapp...

Otherwise if you used Carbon and PAC then follow the instruction it will be removed I thought ! ..

I look on my battery stats this morning, (using M.Kernel v1.4)
and realized that the wifi is keep turning even though the setting was set off...
I hope it does not happen at v1.6

Hey,
is this the wifi location search of google? You can switch it off in the advanced wlan settings.
For me all works fine till now. I use CM 10.2.
I have a question ( for dummies ). Why I have to install kernel first and then after recovery reboot the madridii kernel?
If there's no explanation...doesn't matter, the main thing is, it works.

Guys, do not install Gapps. You will get bootloop. Just ROM and that's all. I think David will put things together soon.
Also, mind that your processor frequency is already overlocked to 1.8 so be sure to lower it if you want. Also swype in keyboard doesn't work and Focal is freezing at 1st shot taken as it is now in cm10.1 with all the 3rd party apps.
All in all, I'm really happy for that!

Yes madridii the kernel sources are the same from 4.2.2 only you need change the ramdisk and the device tree is based on my device tree for ariesve

Hey, bro... Don't use gapps... No gapps will allow the device to boot normally. They say it has smth to do with partition break when gapps are installed. Will have to take a look at i9000 gapps.

Yes wifi problem is fixed. I think ramdisk swap is require to make it work on dual. Btw someone created a cwm for dual.

One thing, it's set to Max 1500 MHz but shouldn't that be somewhere around 1900?
ELM Agent is force closing all the time, not important as I have no idea what it does, just reporting.

After 3 hours of testing;
1.wifi , bt ,nfc work
2.the tweaks app is misbehaving alot
When I choose any option is soft reboots
3.kernel cant be set to maximum like describe in oo
4.governors dont stick
5.after 15 minutes if streaming videos I lost 26 percentage of battery
6.it is very smooth , when I mean smooth I mean smooth
Sorry it isnt so stable for me sincr I need a daily driver for my phone it is awesome kernel indeed .

Several Functions in KTweak are not working, like i.e. Thermal Control, also, there are only a few Govs/Schedulers.

I restored the stock Kernel, System became very unresponsive and started stuttering. Only things running where XDA and Root Browser.

Nothing in KTweaker will work, this was a test to make sure source code from Samsung was accurate. I will have a release very soon with 95% of KT stuff in it then you can use the app

Cause running custom rom with official kitkat on android 4.3 kernel sounds not safe to me... maybe i'm mistaking...

Open ZIP with winrar/winzip or on device and check if there's boot.img
If you see that file, than that's kernel and you just have to flash zip in recovery...
You can also extract boot.img and flash it with fastboot
fastboot flash boot boot.img
Restart device to newly flashed recovery and then flash ROM to be 100% certain it will flash kernel properly...

Can't install Launcher Fix, also I cant provide you log files cause of missing launcher, could you upload a .ZIP with working launcher GE maybe?

Update: Used omniswitch to get to the playstore and installed another launcher for now.

PimpMyZ1 (yes, I know) sets Headphone Analog Gain +10 by default - in fact its +0, and the slider is bugged.

HUGE Sync problem - I can only sync: App Data, Contacts and People details, what about calendar?

Has this on my phone a few days now, and I'm very impressed with it so far. No problems with the camera (but saying that I did flash the z2 camera files, but the camera didn't work but seemed to make the AOSP cam work better) this would be a keeper if there was some way to make the Sony camera work with this rom. Thank you and keep up the excellent work.

with twrp only flash kernel working good after reboot not working..
something is wrong i test this my phone chargeging and i have this problem after unplag from charge and working five

Flash ROM again I mean dirty flash not wipe. Then flash DragonXia kernel.
