I have no knowledge of Silverlight or XNA, I downloaded the Development tools, but I want to know if its possible to develop in C# even though it wont be native.............

just for your understanding you can never code native with C# - therefore you'd need C/C++.
Silverlight and XNA development on WP7 is only supported in C# initially so it seems you're all ready!

I havent checked the sample codes yet, so I can code entirely in C# no silverlight knowledge needed?
I believe, you'll need to use Expression Blend to put your code behind a fancy Silverlight UI.
Doesn't seem that hard if you follow the training school videos school at http://www.microsoft.com/design/toolbox/
it's exactly the same like you used to develop with .NETCF though you have another bag of assemblies referenced. so stuff like file/registry access or PInvoke are gone. see it yourself:

You need Silverlight or XNA knowledge, but the language is C#! Silverlight and XNA are just the Framework to use for developing Apps...it's still C#.

silverlight is the ui aspect of your app
there are things you will need to know about silverlight to get your information from say a database to display on fields of your application.
xna is for gaming programming (gpu interfacing, its what is used for console and zune game programming).

I think I will start with something really simple drawing an image on the screen
My company has a Google Apps domain, and since the initial setup I have used it with my HTC Incredible with no problems... until Saturday.
Running CM7, going into my Google Apps domain from the Gmail app caused the app to, for lack of a better term, freak out. It looked like it was repeatedly opening the message list, and the only way out of the app was to kill the process. Thinking this was a CM7 problem, I tried a few different ROMs, including the stock HTC Froyo ROM. Gingerbread-based ROMs exhibited the same "freak out" behavior as CM7; Froyo-based ROMs simply do not offer "Sync Gmail" as an option under Accounts & Sync - just contacts and calendar.
Our Apps domain administrator assures me that nothing has changed on our domain or with my account, but I am the only Android user (out of two) having problems. My personal gmail.com account works perfectly, and both accounts' calendars work (I'm not syncing contacts with my Google Apps domain).
Any thoughts?

My phone freezes after few seconds on startup from past few days.The problem became so severe that i had to flash factory image! After flashing factory image, my problem is 70% solved but it still persists! For some reason, Netflix does not like my Note 2 with Android 4.3... 4.2.2 and 4.1.2 all work fine and without issues. Can you wonderful guys here make out what the issue is from the logcat???
It's worth noting that the app works fine, but once I go to play a movie or tv show, it just loads forever and never actually plays anything... The app doesn't FC either...

This ROM is based on the Android Open Kang Project (AOKP). The idea to start a ROM based off AOKP with added features for us was started out of curiosity and boredom. We started compiling ROMs for personal use and later started sharing them. After sharing it with a few people, we decided to take it a step further and fine tune the way we do things. Since then, is been nothing but fun and a true learning experience for all of us involved. We've received high praise from not only users but fellow developers of other ROMs that enjoy seeing things done the right way. Our 4.2.2 version made it onto various devices to include the HTC One, Galaxy Nexus, HTC EVO 3D, HTC EVO LTE, Nexus 4 and some other devices. We hope to do the same with our 4.3 version.

Cant enable fast charge on stock or custom kernel using QS tiles and Nothing happen when I change navbar height...
Hey, Alex. I connect my device on the charger and it just dims and the screen doesn't even turn off. Is this normal? Anyone else seeing this? I have to push the power button for it to turn off.
