This is an LG feature, meaning it may have deep hooks in the framework which may make it impossible to really port over. Best you might be able to get is the GPad rom, but I really know nothing about the GPad to say if it's possible.

Just Install QPair in Google Play Market (Both of Your phone and Nexus 7)
Change in Build prop of your Nexus 7
ro.product.model=LG-V510
ro.product.brand=lge
Working Great and Not working issue yet

Awesome! Thanks for posting this, I've got Qpair working on my nexus too now Only difficulty I had was with the QPair app not showing up in the play store on the nexus (even after editing the build prop). Got round it by copying the app over from the phone using titanium backup.
Can I change the build prop file back to normal or will that stop the qpair app from working?

The best you can do is download it from apkmania . com and if you like it, pay for it.

Please guide me how to do it. I even installed an SMS app in Nexus 7, but it shows no notification, the one and only notification I receive is of calls. :-/
And how did you manage to get whatsapp working on nexus 7, I thought a single number can only operate on a single device.
Thanks.

One of the huge downfalls is that you can't access the settings because the nexus 7 doesn't have a menu button. I'll see what I can dig up to fix that.

You can use button savior (play store) or lmt launcher (xda) to get to a menu button.

That's one way I was hoping to pull the newest beta and see if it supports it
Edit: neither of those would work for me. I just pulled the newest version (1.6.2) hoping to have some way of getting to the settings but no luck yet has anyone tried it with the tablet dpi? I'm unrooted so I haven't tried it. If you want the newest version just ask :b

thanks ! settings work just fine if you have menu button enabled on custom rom ( using AOKP )

Are you using a custom rom? I'm unrooted and it works great I just can't access the settings. But if 1weather isn't your cup of tea I'm not offended

So I found this theme on the internet...

installed this and it looks awesome but search doesn't want to stay fixed after doing the language setting trick. I change the settings and it works great after that but after exiting the app it reverts back with force close. to be honest I'd rather just have the always on okay google search feature with nova prime launcher. the google launcher has little to offer in terms of customization.

[Q] Qpair upgrade breaks link?

Hi, got my Pad and pretty much first thing installed Qpair onto my HTC Sensation - worked fine. Loaded it up yesterday and I get 'upgrade to new version - go to play store'. At the play store, I get a message on the HTC saying the version is not compatible with my phone.
Did they break it deliberately?
Anyone got the link to the updated apk to see if it will install manually?
Cheers
Robert
FWIW, I had the opposite happen. Qpair didn't work with my Razr Maxx initially but the update now makes it work.

[App] Android 4.4.3 Dialer Apk

Edit: Not fully working properly will try to fix as soon as I have chance. Apologies to any users who I caused in convenience to :/
Hi here is the dialer from newley released android 4.4.3.
In my opinion has a nice new UI
Just install as a regular app. Tested on xt1032 CM11. SHOULD work on any 4.4 ROM though.
Please Note. This will not replace the existing dialer, unless you manually copy to /system/priv-app/ and set permissions as -rw-r--r Then delete dialer.apk from same folder. Reboot. Done.

Firstly I install it just as normal apk. Then I copied it to priv-app, set permission, unset permission on stock dialler, rebooted and still can not see dialer icon.

Sorry if I caused you guys any inconvenience :/

Confirm on CM11 it works, but calling screen does not show. not receiving, not making calls.
Pushed manually to Priv-App, keept standard CM11 dialer, cleared data and cache on both = Google 4.4.3 dialer works as it should!

New qpair for g pad

Is it possible if we can get the new qpair app in the g pad 8.3 which allows you to answer call from you tablet?
Sent from my GT-I9505 using XDA Free mobile app
Which tablet has new qpair app? Maybe some talented dev can try and port it. I use qpair and also wish it could answer, and ringing from the tablet via contacts would be amazing!
The new tablet from lg have that feature. Lg g pad 7, 8 and 10. Sure it would be possible to port it to g pad 3
Sent from my GT-I9505 using XDA Free mobile app
We have to ask a dev to do this, it is not as simple as just replacing .apk
I would do it myself but i have no experience in that lol
Yh I think they need to do it, if they can port different roms on to it and even Change operating systems on some devices then surely they can port a very much the same app that already exists in the g pad.
