[VRTHEME][GROUPER][KRT16S][KOT49H] ICS Blue Icons, Softkeys, Clock & Battery Theme
After upgrading to stock Android 4.4 I found that the battery icons are not SystemUI pngs like before, so I couldn't simply make an updated version of my 1% Animated Battery Mod for this rom.
I've built a new VRTheme template that works on Android 4.4 and used it to make a flashable zip that will change most of the statusbar and pulldown icons, softkeys, clock & battery colour to ICS Blue.
The percentage is now built into the rom and although it isn't enabled by default, it can be enabled by flashing the latest battery percent apk by @kroegerama
The VRThemes should be flashed using either TWRP or CWM recovery but, as usual, take a Nandroid backup before flashing

After my OTA update to KRT16S failed because core files had been changed, I've updated the "Revert to Stock Themes" so that they replace the themed apks with their stock versions so that OTA updates can be taken.
Thanks for posting this, I was starting to miss the blue from jb. The white on Kit Kat is pretty boring. When they put out the official update for this device they did a piss poor job when it came to theming it right. Thanks again, this helps out a lot.

Yep, as I expected - the theme updates resources.arsc from SystemUI.apk and this is different in 4.4.2 KOT49H
I'll update it ASAP

I didn't have a KRT16H upgrade option so this won't be possible.
I will do a KOT49H though.

ATM, I'm running Xposed + GravityBox on it and it looks like a lot of my theme is already covered.

I did some fiddling about with my '7' running 4.4.3 KTU84L stock.
I wanted to see if the Blue eyes popups worked and I'm pleased to say they do.

This is a theme I put together for Darkside Evolution called Touch0Color, it is a work in progress and would love some imput and help if anyone is interested in themeing it with me. It has taken a lot of time to try and get the color of ics out of this theme and it still needs alot of work. I will continue to update as I am able.

Very nice indeed. I've been running the stock ICS theme for a while now, and it's really starting to irk me. It's really so blah now as there is no real distinction or colors. Sort of like a plain black and white TV to me now. This brings a lot of color and flavor. Thank you.

If you're going to be updating, New "menu icons" (your own or like phone candy) would be cool.
One mild "issue" - though I love the blue glass buttons, the black type (on the buttons) is hard to read

Get stable first!
Just a heads up to anyone trying this mod....
Ensure you have a working booting phone before you apply this mod.
I jsut did a fresh clear of my phone.. factory reset, erase cache, installed Darkside, then installed this mod before booting... no statusbar.... Had to start over.
Something to consider
Just flashed this theme and all I can say is wow! you have put some serious time into this bad boy. My phone looks off the hook awesome!

It's a simple Center Clock with only one difference - it completely has no any known bugs and issues. Mod was ported from my SGS3 Theme for using with my favorite RasBeanJelly rom by rascarlo.

I'll make it tonight or tomorrow. At the moment I'm already busy with S3 SystemUI.
Does it still show when you get multiple notifications.. I.e the motivations just go under it.. like for example download and install 5 or 6 apps.. most just have notification under clock.. which is crazy looking

i think i don't try this mod,but i want to leave you some words to express all my congratulations for yours other's devices mods.i looked the toggles mod in sIII section,and all i can say is that are pure crazyness,awesome,like it a lot,in all the variants.a pity to not have something similar here.

Yes, it's possible but probably later. I prefer to use my own batteries but I have no any for nexus prime at the moment.

EDIT: Compared my GNex using this 4.1 MOD to my Nexus 4 using 4.2 lockscreen and camera actually loads faster with this 4.1 MOD.
Google Now cannot use location settings with this mod enabled. Weather and traffic do not work.
Tried this on Purity ROM and got bootloop. Not sure what I did wrong.
Had to pull battery and re-flash ROM.
This is THE MOD I've been waiting for! Hope that bugs get ironed out...will be checking back frequently.

Sorry, flashable zip in OP is for stock or pure AOSP rom users. It will not work properly on other custom roms..
But making this mod is not difficult at all. I added guide in OP so you can easily make same mod for your rom.. .

Using a pretty stock ROM (AOSP R7 4.2.1 by udK) and I don't have a base subfolder in the framework folder (in system, I presume, as I haven't found a framework folder anywhere else).
Applying the zip leads to a bootloop.

That's because he applied the mod on raw source directory then built manually. If using apktool to decompile its /res/layout/ and /res/values/

Hi. Great work. I was looking for this for a long time. This is the original stock lock right? Ich tried to flash it, but the installation was aborted for some reason (see the pic with the poor quality). I have stock rooted rom.

I think that is because of your device is not gsm galaxy nexus(maguro)...
You'd better to compile your own for your Nexus 4.. see my guide in OP. Making this mod is not difficult at all.

I also get a bootloop after flashing this mod. Is there a sollution? Or maybe an app or so that clashes with the mod (Lockscreen Policy?).

I use the same size as S III 96x96, that few icons impossible will laggy the S III.
You can revert back by reinstall the ROM. Sorry I don't have origin version as I am using XperianZe ROM which is Xperia Z icons by default.

Yup I'm wiping everything, then installing the Rom then wiping cache/dalvik then rebooting into the rom

Does anyone else have any issues with the wallpaper? Ever since my first boot with this rom, my wallpaper has been solid black. I thought I just needed to set it, which is why I did not mention anything earlier, but even after set, it still is black for all my home screens, lockscreen wallpaper is also black.
