protector casing.... well smart phones
have casing which is attached with
screws....so you have to take it to a
technician if u want to change your
phones colour....well not any more
basically ..these are the colour
protectors.... which you can use to
change your phones colour all you
have to do is to just apply it on
mobile ... and when you gets bore
with your cell phone ... just simply
change the protector wel fr now
its in its pre beta phase i'll workon
this and make them more better and
in future it'll be available in different
colours ^_^ and fr diff mbles please copy it just include my name

Okay, so here's the deal - I dropped my beloved TP2 to the ground, and luckily, the screen was saved, but a crack in the plastic on the back of the phone appeared.
Right now, It's not a huge crack, but it does go all the way through the plastic, and I'm afraid that it will get bigger as the time goes.
And to the real problem;
How do I get my hands on a new lid?
(is that the correct word for the grey/silver plastic on the back of the phone, covering the battery etc.?).
I do not want to contact my insurance company, just to send it in for repairment, due to the time which that will take, and cost.
Are there any stores that sell parts of the phone like this?
I will contact HTC after school tomorrow, and I'll try to keep you updated.
Please note that I live in Sweden.

This is not for donation purposes. This is to show our pride as xda members! But you're right, $30 is too much. Somebody should come up with the design.
We've been toying with the idea. In fact, we have a prototype, but weren't happy with the quality. See the attached.
A T shirt in brown or white with the logo of XDA is good enough

I'd be down for a shirt. Could there be a white and black shirt with the simple design in an athletic fit? Also, hoodies and long-sleeved shirts would be cool too. I wouldn't mind the shirt being a dollar more for donation purposes.

It actually look pretty good although would love to se some polo shirts as well since thats all i wear ha but would definatly order this and polo as well. Im big fan of XDA jst got into it and would love to show the pride for this, would also love stickers to attach them in my laptop that would look nice Hope u all make something soon by this year
I like the sample it looks cool! For me short sleeved would be preferable. A regular XDA logo shirt in a nice design would be fine, nothing fancy for the first edition is needed. A price point of $15 or less would seal the deal, and at the quantities I'm sure people will be snapping these up, that probably wouldn't be a problem =P

It's about the uniqueness! but it's not only this color, but you can change the black SGS2 to white etc.
ill give you it gets rid of scratches mate but so do other skins that are avalible
you did mention the colour good in your title not just the product so my comment was at the gold sgs2 which i really dont like but again iam sure many will
yeah the product is a good idea for thos that dont like cases and want minimal protection or even for people looking to cover scratches but i defo wouldnt buy a gold one

Still not a popular enough phone. Think of how few people are going to disassemble their phone and put a new housing on it.
I think the white one is pretty hot, but if I wanted it that bad I would've just bought it lol. I'm fine with black.

Makes sense from Verizon's POV though. And even then, it doesn't matter what phone, a very small number of people will be interested in modifying the hardware on their device.

I think they'd have a sufficient amount of people. As long they don't over produce.

Colour is often a personal choice, my advice will be go to a store and look at the two before making a deicison, I didn't think the grey looked very nice so went for white.
You don't need a case, you will have to decide if you want a case, and then what type of case will best suit you. Not everyone likes flipcases.

Im actually planning to buy it online for my carriers website, since the offer was reasonable! and i dont have to wait in long queues!:good:
So I may not get to see for myself which suits me best. But I think I would go for white since I liked my white Galaxy SII.
I think I may not buy the cover now, see how it goes between me & the Note II and then I'll decide :laugh:
