[Q] ParanoidAndroid 3.99-RC2 (4.3.1) Icon Size - Paranoid Android Q&A

Just updated to PA 3.99-RC2 for the Galaxy S2 (T-Mobile) aka SGH-T989.
Started playing around with the settings, went to Launcher settings -> Dock -> Icon scale -> set it to 80%. Found out I didn't really like it, no big deal, I set it back to 100% (the default). The only problem is, now I can't get them to go back to normal. I tried a restart but no luck.
Any help is really appreciated!

[Q] Status bar clock freezes

I am currently running 13.09 jellybro on top of a56 trinity kernel and I am from time to time experiencing this issue in which my status bar clock timer just gets stuck at whatever time it is. In order to unfreeze it I usually go to settings -> date and time -> untick/tick the automatically update time option. The exact same thing was also happening on 04.09 Rasbean Jelly. Does anyone have a clue about what might cause this behavior?
No idea, used to freeze in aokp m5 too.

[Q] Settings/Transition Annoyances

Hey Guys,
I'm having a few minor issues trying to setup my phone after flashing some ROM's today. The current issues that I've noticed so far are as follows:
1. When going through the swiftkey setup process, the app would try to take me to settings so that I could enable the keyboard, whenever it took me there though I got the error message "Unfortunately, settings have stopped working".....I just worked around it and went to settings myself to enable it as a quick fix.
2. When the light flow app took me to the accessibility page in settings I tried to click light flow so that I could enable it but it would always reload the settings page......To work around I just closed the app and went to settings myself to enable.
3. The light indicator that follows my finger on the swiftkey flow keyboard is extremely faint and barely lights up when it should show me where my finger was swiping.
4. When using the background running app screen to switch between apps, the screen goes berzerk. If I switched to another app the transition animation would flicker and the picture would go screwey on my phone but only until the app screen loaded (Only occurred on previous outdated liquid smooth client).
I originally had an outdated Liquid Smooth (LS) JB ROM on my Canadian (AT&T American equivalent I believe) Galaxy S3 with no problems. I decided to try out Cyanogen Nightly 10.1 so I backed up all my data using Titanium and copied the backup folder to my computer. After I played around with CM I decided I preferred LS so I switched back and did a restore all apps + data and all system data. Only after I did that restore did I see issue #4 start to occur. I tried re-flashing LS multiple times, copying an undisturbed zip file over with no luck (each time I flash I do a factory reset, wipe cache/dalvik). Finally realized that there was an update to the LS ROM version 2.1 RC 1 which I flashed along with gapps-jb-20121212 which is currently on my phone right now. The new LS is similar in many ways to CM including the slide transition when selecting one of the currently running apps which is why I believe I now don't see issue #4. However, now I have these minor annoyances that I want to get rid of. Could anyone please help?

Note 2 defaults after reboot

Hello xda community, utter n00bie here, but I have done a lot of reading/searching/researching for quite some time.
Last night finally broke loose and rooted my AT&T i317 Note 2, flashed Scott's Clean ROM 1.5 SE, and Andrey's Perseus kernel for some overclocking.
I was hoping this would get fixed with the new Clean ROM, but it hasn't so that's why I need your guys help.
I searched the forum and found some other ppl having similar (yet different) issues but haven't really found a solution or cause for this issue on the forum.
Things that I've noticed revert back to defaults every time I reboot the phone:
SwiftKey reverts back to stock Samsung keyboard (Extremely annoying.. but I've found on forums that some ppl got around this by "freezing" the Samsung keyboard using Titanium... don't know if that's a solution or a temp fix =/ )
System Options -> Developer Options -> Limit background processes -> goes back to "Standard Limit" from "4 processes at most" I have found by keeping "4 processes at most" keeps my battery alive A LOT longer and does not negatively affect phone's stability. But every time I reboot the phone its annoying how this settings reverts back to the default "Standard Limit" which allows all apps to run in background.
My Camera and Video recorder shortcuts go back to defaults. In Camera Mode, there is an Option "Edit Shortcuts" and you can change Scene Mode, ISO, Metering...well all these go back to defaults when I reboot. Also very annoying.
Anybody know why this is happening? A way to fix this?
Thanks guys
ditto here..
i have the same issue with my droid charge.. camera "review" setting gets checked.. notification goes to "droid" default.. i have to resign in to outlook.. crap.. utter crap..
i haven't found any technical explanation yet.. i'm guessing a wipe and re-rom.

P.A.C-4.1.2 - Incredibly Paranoid (PACMAN) ROM - System UI has stopped working (fix!)

I installed this awesome app, and was enthusiastically tweaking it with UI adjustments when I was suddenly hit by "Unfortunately, System UI has stopped working." This flew me into a panic. This popup message looped constantly no matter how many times I pressed OK, and made my phone unusable.
Long story short, I found a solution. Others had had this problem, and posted it on a different android forum. What causes this bug is turning off Quick Settings in the Notification area. Turning it back on again in Settings > System solves the problem.
I was very reluctant to go back to gingerbread after finally finding a good, fast jellybean rom for my Incredible 2. I have reported it, and I do hope it is fixed soon.
I hope this helps!
Holy crap you're a lifesaver, thanks! I had this same problem because I am using lockscreen notifications (NILS) and power toggles in notification drawer so I disabled the quick settings. I had no idea this was what caused the problem, thanks!
Soooo..
i dont find the seetings.
my tablet language is on german.
So can anyone tell me where i can find the quick setting , setting ?
Thanks! This still works to solve the issue!
