guys I just got an HTC and now the epic is my boys phone lol, he plays games all day on it and listens to music... he loves it! what kind of rooting can i do that is basic so i can take off all the sprint crap he doesnt need? games and music is all he will be doing lol

HA! Sounds like my mother. Those movies would scare the crap out of me at night if I watched them. Around Halloween they used to play them on TV a lot, so if she was watching one, I could hear it through my bedroom door and she would not turn it off!
I still get scared watching it at night...lol
God this brings back memories. I was so desensitized as a kid, as I grew up watching the Freddy movies. To this day I haven't found a move that'll make me jump. On the flip side of that, I can usually call out most of the movie before it happens, because I've seen so many. . . Don't watch too much TV, but watch a helluva lotta movies. . . and retain most of 'em. lol
Instead of square try a different shape for the icons also you could bevel them to make them look more 3D. Great idea a horror theme or horror legends theme would be bad a$$ like freddy,jason,myers and chainsaw or even SAW. Good job
yeah i am working on the icons, but u read my mind, i was going to do a horror villians theme with all of them, and i am actually working on a saw theme as we speak
So my girl friend and I, moved from AT&T and our iPhones to Spring and our Evo's. My girl friend made the swap because I hated AT&T's coverage at our house, and we are moving in 3 months. But I know she isn't happy with her phone because she can NOT play all of her little iPhone games with all of her girl friends.
Should we move back and she can be happy or should I keep my awesome phone and tell her too bad?

Couldn't she just play the games over WiFi on the inactive iPhone?

Get her an Ipad or an Ipod touch and show her how to tether it to her Sprint phone.

Okay so I'm sure the title says it all but for those that haven't got it, basically I've just purchased a new HTC Desire and now I'm beginning to have a little more spare time, the question is, what do I do with it?
Has anyone got a particular rom they would like to put forward for me to use, anything they particulary like to do on thier Desire?
Anything really would be nice.

Angry birds might be a good start mate however this comes with a warning let the missus see it and you risk losing your desire and saturday night legover lol
Angry birds, Fruit Ninja etc for basic popular games.
If you want to try out flashing have a look at CM6 or Oxygen (froyo build), both are pretty much rock solid. 2.3 builds will see some big improvement over the next couple of weeks and will be pretty set to go after that.
And yeah, wife isn't nearly impressed with the desire as I am
[email protected] wife. since Ive bought my Desire Ive not only alienated my gf Ive become a FLASHAHOLIC jumping from one custom rom to another. Its a dangerous phone!!

I want to get a few games on my phone. I'm a huge sports fan and enjoy playing Madden/NBA 2k. I know Madden is on the droid, but can I get it for the G2. I prefer a NBA game, but either one will do.

Haha yea I've seen that phone before, but I'm not in the market for a new one. I love my simple G2. I'm just mad that I've seen people with Droids able to play madden.

My suggestion is to look into emulators. You can run a psx emulator (FPse) pretty well on the Vision with overclock. I'm not sure if the old psx had the games you are looking for...
