Mime Vs Nillkin Vs Glass-M Vs Spigen GLAS - Nexus 5 Accessories

I want to buy a tempered glass screen for N5 within a week or two. But I can't decide between :
1)Mime Ghost Glass or Feather Glass
2)Glass-M tempered glass
3)Nillkin tempered glass
4)SPIGEN GLAS
Currently, I am slightly inclined towards Mime(read good reviews). I heard that SPIGEN GLAS has some issues and the fix can take a while. I guess that is out of my option. My Requirements are : a) the touch should work fine b) no bubbles c)should work fine with a case.
Can you please suggest me which one to buy?
Thanks in advance,
psy_spy

I just received my Nillkin protector. I'm hoping to install it tonight so I will try to post some pictures for you. My first impressions are that the packaging is great and the camera protector (not glass) seems great. The kit for installation is pretty good too. Can't wait to install it.
If it turns out to be rubbish I'll plump for a MIME one. Everyone speaks very highly of them.

I had the (defective) Spigen GLAS.tr, and am still waiting for that replacement.
Applied the MIME Ghost last night and I can say that it's one of the best glass protectors I've ever used in terms of feel, rounded edges, adhesion (even after a couple of pull-offs and re-applications, to get rid of specks with scotch tape), and so forth.
Put it this way - I have a replacement Spigen on the way at some point, as well as a pair of the Nillkin units - but I just finished ordering another MIME Ghost in case something happens to this one.

Think about orzly glass screen protector, put mine about a week ago flawlessly, no bubbles, very good touch and feeling response, cut out are perfect
And is laminated glass, a thin plastic sheet coupled with glass, same as car windscreen, don't know if other are laminated or tempered glass

I bought the Nillkin tempered glass screen protector. First time ever using tempered glass and I will never go back to anything else. It simply blows me away and looks great. It genuinely looks like I'm going naked screen wise. No air bubbles, comes with instructions and all the necessities. Overall I highly recommend. :good:

That's good to know. Mine should arrive today or tomorrow!

I bought the Nilkin, and I am waiting for it. I bought it mainly because the price was low, I hope it will be of good quality

Glad somebody has had a good experience with the NIllkin. Didn't get a chance to fit mine tonight so will have to do it tomorrow. Do you have a case with yours Benman715?

I relieved the MIME and just put it on. It looks great fits great and I can't even tell its there.
Only downside is it took me a couple tries to get it on straight and now I have a couple pieces of lint under it

I've had my Nillkin fitted for the past 24hours or so, I'm very happy with it. Excellent quality, fitted up perfectly, looks/feels great and it was a good price.

I loved the MIME Ghost glass and Feather glass on the HTC One and will be looking to get one of them soon for the N5. My Spigen GLAS.tR totally carcked it so got a refund for that. Never tried the Nillkin. Has anyone actually tested the theory of the Nillkin being "anti-explosion"? LOL.

Anyone tested these with polarized sunglasses? Specifically the Mime or Nillikin

Can anyone with any of these glass screen protectors comment on wether there is or would be any affect of the cutouts being over the camera and sensor versus only a cutout for the earpiece.
Also Can anyone report whether any of these glass screen protectors resist fingerprints well or not?

Just ordered a Nillkin, will let y'all know what its like when I get it.

Yes I do. I have the spigen hybrid case. Overall I'm smitten with the look and feel of tempered glass. The case is a fingerprint magnet unfortunately. Best of luck with everyone who ordered tempered glass. Its well worth it IMO.

Does anyone have any photos of MIME, Nilkin, Glass-M? (I have Spigen GLAS.tr which has a lifted corner)
But I heard that Spigen GLAS nano's are coming out soon.

Is anyone as annoyed as me with Spigel's absolutely ridiculous line of product and naming choices? No clarity between feature, functionality, what's what, etc. Add in the Amazon factor and it's pure chaos. They might have the best cases, but they need some serious help in business management. If I ran their company, I'd have addressed this immediately.
Anecdotally, I'm nowhere near the first confused person. Someone much smarter than I (which, really, is most people) found their offerings wildly confusing and simply ordered one of everything before deciding to return all but the one which suited him best. I did the same given their complete inanity.
--Dan

I got the defective Spigen glass and just received nillkin tempered glass and installed it about an hour ago.
It seems good overall and unlike Spigen glass, it has a cut out for the proximity sensor.
there are small bubbles with nillkin protector and I am hoping it would disappear by tomorrow.
I've always loved spigen's protectors, but this time it was a big NO NO.

I mentioned this on another thread but my Orzly after 5days of use was scratched quite a bit. I've no idea how as it only sat in my pocket.
I have a Nilikin on order but I'm currently using a £5 'helicopter blade coating' protector I got on eBay and it's great, no Orange peel and you really couldn't tell it's there. Still like the glass protectors though so I'll go with the Nilikin when it arrives.

Mime ghost glass is out of stock. I have sent them an email. If it won't be available within a week, I am buying nillkin. Or as someone suggested, I may buy both.

Spigen Nexus 5 Screen Protector GLAS.t SLIM

Has anyone bought this screen protector for the N5? I'm considering it since I want a fingerprint-resistant screen protector, but I don't know whether the cut outs will be faulty as their clear screen protector...
If not any other recommendations for a fingerprint-resistant screen protector for N5?

Has anyone used these?

There's been high praise for the Spigen glass protectors so I ordered the GLAS.t SLIM. I think the cheaper of the two should provide enough protection as I generally take care of my phones pretty well. The lower profile of the GLAS.t seemed better for me although the rounded corners of the GLAS.tR would have been nice.
I've used cheaper anti-glare film screen protectors in the past, and they worked but didn't last long due to normal wear and tear, so I'm hoping this glass screen protector goes the distance. I hate applying new screen protectors =/
Edit: As for the recommendations, I would NOT advise Clarivue anti-glare. It works well initially but diminishes screen quality and the anti-glare coating wears out quickly in higher-use areas like where the keyboard is. Went through three in the past year.
If you're in Canada, they are now fulfilled by amazon.ca, that means free shipping! http://www.amazon.ca/SPIGEN-Protect...id=1383316041&sr=1-12&keywords=spigen+nexus+5
I'm really interested in getting the glass.t or glass.tr protectors. However, one thing that has always worried me about tempered glass protectors is the possible space between the screen and the protector.
Since glass protectors are not flexible, but the protector and actual screen must be perfectly flat or there will be bubbles due to points of non-contact between the two. Does anyone have experience applying one, and do they fit well together or are there problems?
EDIT: Also, would these protectors work with the Spigen cases or would the extra thickness cause a problem?
Anyone got theirs yet? I'm thinking of getting the GLAS.t Slim since I'd prefer the thinner one.
I'm wondering if the upper lip on the Spigen cases will actually cover the edges of the protector or if there will be a gap. Since I'm planning to use it in combination with a case, if the case covers the edges of the protector I can't see any advantage of the GLAS.tR Slim.
I've also read some other glass protectors have a grid of dots on them. I think this would really annoy me. Do the Spigen protectors have this?
Do they affect viewing angles at all?
Finally, is a cracked or shatter glass protector likely to scratch up the screen? They are of similar hardness...
Thanks.
I turst Spigen
I have not tried the tempered glass on Nexus 5, but I would trust Spigen products all time, they are getting very positive review on Amazon as well, so I would say go for it and I believe they have the money back guarantee, so why to worry

I have the Sir Lancelot Armor-Holy Grail for my N4. I have tried them all. First off stay away from Clarivue and Maru, both are just not good.
Haven't tried any others since SLA and ILoome(which have GREAT customer service!) on my N4, so I hope the Spigen can play well with the hybrid case!
The Spigen site recommends using a case along with their GLAS products, so I'm going to assume they fit cases (or at least Spigen cases) just fine.

I've heard this from some people as well. I personally will keep my phone without a case or a bumper at the most, so I can't speak from experience. If it's a wet application screen protector, it's probably much more likely that it will curl off since those tend to extend to the edges of the screen.
Here's what is on the Spigen site:
As this is a glass product, please note that the edges of the glass are the most vulnerable areas. We highly recommend that you use a case along with your GLAS.t SLIM to avoid chipping or cracking the edges of your GLAS.t SLIM

I believe the point of the tR is precisely to be used without a case (the tR product page doesn't have the paragraph about using it with a case to protect the edges). So if you're going to use a case, get the t, if not you should get the tR.
I used the glas TR with my work iphone, and they're fantastic. Very durable and they almost feel better than the naked screen. I have one on order for the N5, but not sure if ill put it on right away. You can't go wrong with one of these though, well worth the money if you are looking for long lasting screen protection.
From Spigen's website:
GLAS.T - Our first and original GLAS.t screen protector. Made of real tempered glass and premium silicone adhesive. It is about 0.4mm thick.
GLAS.tR - The "R" stands for rounded. This glass protector has beveled edges to to help prevent chipping on the edges of the glass. Recommended for users that are not using a case or a minimal case design. About 0.55mm thick.
GLAS.T Slim - We've made our popular GLAS.t even slimmer. Same concept and material as our GLAS.t, but it ranges from 0.23-0.26mm depending on the product.
GLAS.tR Slim - Also the rounded version of the GLAS.t Slim. The thickness is about 0.4mm

I'm having some trouble with the GLAS.tR. I just installed it, and the bottom left corner is not sticking, and there is a spot that's not sticking on the right side of the headset speaker. I'm trying to leave some weight on top of it and see if that will fix it.

same here! I have three rather large "bubbles" (though thankfully none are on the screen), one of which is in the bottom left corner. When I apply pressure, it reduces to a tiny bubble, but after about a minute, it will have expanded again. I tried putting a textbook on top overnight, but this morning when i lifted the book, it just grew back in a minute.
If it doesn't fix itself in another 24 hour, I'm going to call Spigen.

Anyone found a tempered glass screen protector for the HTC One (that works). Only one I can find is this Tempered glass screen protector.

I bought one off ebay not too long ago. Anyway, its a quality tempered glass screen protector. Scratch free and no touch issues whatsoever. Long story short, for the most part they are most likely all the same.
Here's the one I purchased :
http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Premium...l_Phone_Screen_Protectors&hash=item565ffcf158
Did yours match the size of the screen exactly? I bought one off ebay a few months ago, and it works fine but it's about 1mm shorter than the black area. I've sent mine in for the pink camera noise issue, and if I get it back with a bare screen I'd like to replace it with one that fits.
size
It's normal, that the protector is slightly smaller than the acutal screen. If they were spot on the same size, it would be almost impossible to put the protector on, without any air bubbles underneath it.
Brando Rounded Tempered Glass protector
I've had this... http://shop.brando.com/Brando-Works...Rounded-Edition-HTC-One-_p09083c1531d008.html on my phone for about 9 months. Not a mark on it and fits perfectly.
Bit more expensive than some, but it's 9H glass (Diamond is 10H!) & just watch the videos... They have a go at it with knives & a drill! (I've tried a knife myself ... Not a scratch!)
Worth a bit extra cash in my opinion.

The one I purchased fits the screen perfectly. Maybe a extremely small gap at the top but literally unnoticeable
I have the MIME ghost glass protector and love it! Does not have that sticky feel that PET protectors have, I'd never go back to plastic again.
http://mimeusa.com/product/htc-one-ghost-glass-tempered-glass-screen-protector/
Well, my One is back and the screen is nakies so it's time for a new screen protector. They must have replaced the screen, since it had a tiny hairline scratch when I sent it in and it's gone so I can't complain too much. Hopefully the new screen protector fits better than the last.
Mime Feather on mine and I love it.
Covers the screen perfectly and I had no trouble installing it. The only way you know it's there is because it's slightly raised above the phone (0.15mm, they say).
The iloome Flex is pretty good, I have one myself. It's easy to install, because it's flexible unlike other glass screen protectors and they also give you some tape if you want to use the hinge method. It's pretty hard (8H) and thin too.
revised review, now very negative about Mime

I have to revise my opinion of Mime and their products after having gone through 3 of them on the same phone.
1. The first one felt great initially. But it scratched much too easily for it to be 9H, so I am going to have to call BS on their hardness claim.
Mime offered to send me a new one and did after about a month.
2. The second one did not stick correctly, even though I installed it in exactly the same manner as the first one.
Mime offered to send me a new one, but they were out of stock in both Ghost Glass and Feather for this phone (M7). After several weeks, the Feather was finally available again but the discount code they sent did not work and there was a further delay while Mime sorted that out. Also the Feather model cost more so I had to pay an extra $3 US plus the coupon.
3. The unit I received after ordering the Feather did not appear to be glass. It was flexible and felt, looked and scratched just like a cheap plastic screen protector. I patiently waited because I assumed this was an interim unit to hold me over until the glass ones became available again. But when I contacted Mime they assured me that was the Feather and that Mime does not stock any plastic at all to fit the M7. So apparently the Feather is no better than plastic, but costs $30 US apiece shipped.
So I asked for a refund. Mime asked me to ship it back, which I did.
Mime received it 2 weeks ago and I have not heard from them despite multiple emails.
Terribly slow customer service all around, the products are ridiculously overpriced, I definitely would not buy again.
I apologize to anyone that bought Mime products after reading my review because my opinion of Mime and their products has certainly changed since then.
Initial quality felt good, but they do not last long enough to warrant the high price and the after sale support is also not worth the price.
I could have bought 6 of the Chinese cheapie tempered glass screen protectors + shipping and still had 5 left as I am still on the 1st one vs 3 Mime duds. This is what I have done on my S5 and it was better quality than the Mime for $4.
Don't waste your money on Mime.
initial observation is below:
I also use the Mime Ghost Glass and I really like it.
It measures .32mm. You can tell it's there if you are looking for it, but so far everyone I hand my phone to has not noticed it.
Mime also makes the Feather model, as mentioned by someone else, which measures .15mm thickness. I would have probably bought that if I had seen it before I bought the Ghost Glass. They are both rated at 9H hardness, but theoretically the thicker one should offer more protection.

Just ordered the one you suggested for $6.85. It's my first ever glass screen protector, hoping it will be a fun experience. From reviews on amazon, and I belive the one on ebay that the seller is selling, is the one made by PThink, judging from the same photos. The only complaint on the cheaper ones are that sometimes the edges don't seal down the the screen, and can cause bubbles. Still, I am excited.
Here is the link once again to buy, and at time of purchase is only $6.85 with free shipping.

I'm using Mime Feather model, very happy with it, and they have excellent customer service. Word of caution though, if you're planning to use it with HTC's Double Down case it won't work, that case presses on the edges of Mime glass and causes it to rise along the edges.

I've got UAG + Mime feather. Works great though a couple of days ago I actually chipped the edge of the feather glass and my phone. But that's because I'm an idiot and keep my keys+keyring-multitool and phone in the same pocket (hence why I have a case and protector)

Which glass screen protector?

Hi,
I've had a Nillkin glass screen protector on for a few months, and the glass has slowly started to lose its sticky around the corners and keeps air bubbles all the time. It's also got a slight chip on one of the edges.
So I'm looking for a replacement, preferably one that doesn't have a cut out for the light sensor.
I don't particularly want to pay £30 for a spigen one, especially if it goes the same way after a couple of months. So I'm looking for around £15/$20. At the moment I'm looking at the Glass-M one, but would appreciate some other recommendations? Ideally one available in the uk that I don't have to import from the states or HK.
Thanks
Here's a good start, on top of the many threads specific to the different brands:

I can recommend the Glass-M 0.15mm glass. Great fit and feels great on being so thin. I purchased from a Hong Kong seller on eBay for £9.50 delivered and delivery was only 1 week or thereabouts.
thanks
Thanks for the links =)
I was looking for a Nillkin tempered glass because it's way cheaper than Spigen, but then, after reading some reviews about webs spider and other issues, I decided to buy the glass-m 0.15mm for a few more bucks.
I am very happy with my choice, it's perfect
Well, im looking for one glass too... I have been looking for the shield armor one (or something like that, I don't remember the name of it) I see many reviews and looks like works very good on the iPhone... I don't know if buy it or no (25$), what you say?

Thanks for the replies - can I just confirm the GlassM one doesn't have the cut-out for the light sensor?
Also, would the thinness of this not go against any additional protection from dropping that the glass ones tend to offer?

The Glass-M only has a cut out for the earpiece.
With regard to drop protection. I don't think there will be much in it. A serious drop on any glass protector will break it I believe. Its mainly for scuff and scratch protection. I went for the thin 0.15mm option because I wanted the phone to be as close to naked as possible.

I'm more thinking about the screen underneath the protector. Although not guaranteed, the "extra protection" offered by a glass protector is one of the draws for me.

I'm not sure a glass protector will protect much against a drop onto a concrete or hard surface from height. I think it all depends on how it lands, the glass protector will protect against scratches and scuffs should it survive the impact from the fall.
I'll tell you which one NOT to buy.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/400653222919?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649
The cutouts are on the wrong side of the screen protector. It would have fit perfectly if it werent for this issue. The adhesive side has both cutouts on the wrong side of the protector, its like it was made backwards. Seemed good quality for 8 bucks but its unusable.
As this thread is dedicated to glass screen protectors, does anyone use a glass screen pro with a tpu case?
I'm tempted by the iloome flex but unsure if my case will case the protector to raise at the edges
I'm using the Anker glass screen protector - it feels better than the stock screen and when the coating rubs off or it gets broken/scratched you can replace it with another one for around £12. I've already had the stock Nexus 5 screen coating rub off.
No drop in image quality at all. I really wasn't sure about it but there is no downside to it.
It works perfectly well with my Nexus 5 Cruzerlite TPU Case (A2) and the combination means the phone is pretty much bullet proof whilst still being slim and lightweight.

As this thread is dedicated to glass screen protectors, does anyone use a glass screen pro with a tpu case?
I'm tempted by the iloome flex but unsure if my case will case the protector to raise at the edges

I've been using the MIME Feather with the Diztronic TPU case for a couple of months now. I've had zero issues with this combination.

Tempered Glass screen protectors; Recommended ones?

So I've been looking for a tempered glass screen protector for my Moto X, and I'm not sure which to get, the MIME or i-Blason. So I figured that I would ask the community what they recommend.

Between the two, i-Blason. It fits much better than the mime
I have the MIME, can't say as I'm super impressed with it. I'm considering switching to the iBlason just because it's thinner. I feel like the MIME is interfering with the touch sensitivity and causing me to have to press harder than I should. Plus it's just ever so slightly too low and the curved edge interferes with the front facing camera causing a slight distortion at the top of the image. I could move it, but that's where it sits centered.
I had MIME, dropped my MotoX couple of times, MIME did it's job and protected the screen. Unfortunately it chipped and then it started to break really quickly. Don't get me wrong I don't complain about this, it's glass it breaks when dropped on concrete, but it's $25 (+ shipping, I live outside US), and spending this kind of money every month is something I would like to avoid, so I bought some cheep Chinese one on eBay for less than $10. And besides that MIME has nice curved edges, I really don't see the difference...
I had the MIME on my X and while I liked it the sensitivity in the Nav bar area wasn't always good if the phone was say laying on a desk. That being said the MIME on my wifes X is perfect. I just removed my MIME and installed the Mocolo glass screen protector, install was as simple as the MIME and I even had to realign it slightly so peeling it off and putting it back on wasn't a problem. I now have No issues at the Nav bar area so I'm very happy with the Mocolo. http://glass4m.com/products/mocolo-premium-tempered-glass-screen-protector-for-moto-x-g
Just to add, the order to shipped to my door process was 6 days from China to NJ, very impressed.
I-Blason is the best fit out of all the available tempered glass screen protectors.
I-BLASON is the best fit size for moto x. But the glass cover Distance Sensor also.
Maybe have below problem:
Take a call, phone will auto screen off and can not make it on until end of this call.
Power key also can not use while calling.
Any one who have Iblason to check it have this problem or not?

I'm curious what (if any) case you are using.
I'm considering getting one of these, but I'm concerned about the fit inside a hard case. The hard cases are already a VERY tight fit, and I'm wondering if it can even be snapped on with the extra 0.33mm that the Mocolo adds to the thickness.
Can anyone advise?

I have a seidio surface case and an i-blason glass screen protector (ordered from amazon). Long story short the case does not overlap with the tempered glass protector that I got. Although mounting the tempered glass protector is best done with the case already on the device.Top to bottom the case and screen protector is a VERY tight fit (but it does barely fit)!
What confuses me though is people above are saying the i-blason protector covers the proximity sensor, mine doesn't, so I am a bit puzzled...

From what I understand, it used to, but they fixed it a long time ago.
I have the i-blason, was very careful with installation, used the "hinge" method, went on fine, been over a month with no issues, I use a minimal case, so no issue with it. I still "baby" it, the protector is more so that in case, I'll say "lucky I had a protector on it"

The difference between version 1 and 2.
I have the mime, and coming from the Zagg glass on my Galaxy S5 which was absolutely amazing, it is just as good. The fit is extremely tight though, you need to be spot on for installation. I have only given it a day though so I'll see if it stands the test of time.

Ok so the Ghost Glass only lasted about 2 weeks before it started to chip in the sides from just daily use. Then it shattered when I went to remove it. Customer service responded in less than an hour with a free replacement coupon. So A+ for customer service but the product kindof sucked. Using it was great but as soon as there is one fault the whole thing is junk, something that my Zagg Glass didnt have an issue with. The Zagg cracked but still went on without an issue for 2 months, and even upon removal it stayed in one solid piece.
I will try the replacement for a while and then go to iBlason if there is any issues.
I have the motocolo. The touch screen is good, but the sensivity not realy realy.
Love my iblason, it started getting spiderweb cracks after several months of use, but I was able to transfer the cracked one to my replacement moto x while I work on getting a replacement iblason. No luck emailing them, I have to fill out the warranty form on the site now
Iblason have 2 version? I see many problems with proximity sensor?
Thanks
So any updates on the glass protectors you guys are using?
I've had my MIME for over a year and it's starting to chip and crack after dropping it. I'm not sure if I want to get another one cause I had a lot of difficulty putting it on precisely so as to not have bubble edges.
I have the Mocolo Glass Screen Protector. This Glass fits very nice on the Moto X.

I had motocola but I find the sensitivity of the touch worse so I gave classic screen protector.
I haven't tried all the glass screen protectors, but I bought the monoy and I love it. The best part about it is the edges are curved so your finger just flows over the sides and it feels great.

Question Outer/Cover Display Screen Protector

Can anyone recommend a tempered glass or other quality screen protector for the outer cover display? Something that you've personally used and can vouch for.
Thanks in advance!
Same. Front protector scratched on me 1st day. Also peeled up when I was opening. Need to replace.

Yep. Mine was basically destroyed on day 1 with normal use.
Whitestone has a ez screen protector and also a liquid adhered protector. I have installed ez one without trouble since a few days before official release and it's still holding strong. You also get 2 for like $10 so you can't really beat it

Looks like it might have trouble fitting properly if used with a case. The black border looks problematic. Have you used it with a case and, if so, do you have any pics or comments on that? Thanks.
I'm trying to figure out the best front screen protector as well. I would prefer tempered glass but have only seen a couple and not in stock at the moment. Still have the stock one on it but it's starting to bubble and peel/Crack on the sides.
I'm using these white stone dome front tempered glass screen protector. I got two of them for $10. They work decent with a case. But make sure it is a minimalistic case like the Samsung carbon fiber.

I am currently using samsungs silicone case and there is no problems with it coming off. Have not tried with a heavy duty case but I honestly don't see it as a problem
I got my leather case (samsung one) today and love it. However as soon as i applied it the cover screen plastic protector came off in the edge so i just removed it.
since it seems pretty thick on the inside - is there any 9h glass available yet which fits with the case? Or can i go to a samsung store and they reapply the plastic one on the cover screen?
i dont mind paying
I'm using the Whitestone glass screen protector. NOT the EZ. I've used it on all my phones since it was first released, including I Note devices and the Z Fold 2.
I use this for Extra protection
Whitestone Dome Glass UV.

I'm waiting on these to get delivered to me today actually. The stock one on my front screen is starting bubble and peel up on the side. My case kinda covers it up but the stock one is also picking up quite a few scratches. Hopefully these will do the job. Isn't that easy to fine a good tempered glass screen protector for this device. Spigen looks to be coming out with one but not available yet.

Hmm, not sure what that one is. I haven't seen a front screen protector from Spigen anywhere. The one I was referring to is the one below, which is the only one on their site and doesn't appear to be out yet since it says coming soon.

Yeah, exactly this one. My mistake I wrote EZ.
In UK is available from Amazon.
Anyone got a recommendation for a good case? Id normally use Spigen but some of their case prices are ambitious to say the least.

I'm using the Ringke Slim and I really like it. I ordered the Spigen S Pen case, but it won't ship for another week or so. Looks bigger than I'd like, but definitely need something I can switch to when I really need to carry the S Pen and don't want to have it loose in a pocket.
I also ordered the official Samsung Aramid case (which also won't arrive for another week or two). Based on the reports I've read and the pics I've seen, the Aramid appears to be the slimmest case available for the ZF3. I hate bulky cases, especially on a device that's as large as the ZF3, so I'm guessing I'll probably settle on the Aramid for 90% of my daily use.

Thanks buddy, how are you finding the ringke slim? I was keen on that until i read a few amazon reviews mentioning the case had scratched their devices? Have you had any such issue? Would be good to hear if you used the sticky pads and if they are easy/hard to remove.

Great case. No scratches. Not sure how anyone scratched their Fold with this case. You'd have to be pretty damn careless to do that. I used the adhesive strips.
