As of now this is considered a share of some else's work.
At the OP.
This is not a valid format for releasing a ROM.
If I need to tell you how to setup a thread for the release of a ROM, then you probably should NOT be releasing a ROM
Thread moved to general

this is by no means a kit kat rom...i dosent even have a transperent status bar!!!!Whats the problem with our ions?? there is not a single functional rom for xperia ion where as xperia s already got a stable 4.3!! any one knows links to good roms?? plz tell me...and its so frustrating!! even arc and arc s got a kitkat rom!!!! come on devs bring a kitkat rom for xperia ion plzzzzzzz:crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying:

here is the link!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the link is in the primary post before the attachment

Can you give more information ? Did you add some script ?

Okie! I'm on this rom for last few days.. And surprisingly it exceeds my all expectations... There is hardly any bug in this rom...best thing is the camera which is working normal now...no more fc, no dinasours etc...battery life is okie...processor is behaving fast n smooth, no more excess heating problem...
Yes! This is not a 'pure' kitkat rom. But whatever it is...it is good...
Give it a try....

Personal Opinion on Choosing Rom
I got Xperia ION and i tried all the available custom roms for the device.....For sony based ui Xperia Honami v3.x was very good in performance, battery backup, lag free and features were also good i meant all the addons...For AOSP CM10 ui PARANOID ROM was very good, faster and stable rom and i experienced a good battery backup and rom was nice to use and multitasking was awesome...I tried all the ROMS and found that these two roms have good features and performance compared to others

can i view screenshoot ?

Some screenshots would be nice. Also, if more people who are on this rom can give feedback. Thanks

is this deodexed rom?? and for locked bootloader??

How did you flash this whiteromv2? When I tried to install it two times, I ended up on a boot loop with the sony logo. Please help me to install it. Thanks in advance!

@rpdaquing why u flashing this??? A totally stable cm 11 is out for our Xperia ion.... Its awesome... Flash that rom... Just Google it...
Sent from my Xperia ion running kitkat ??

I just want to try the features of this Rom. I am actually using the jellybean version of Rogers LT28i since there is no available update of the JB for the international version of LT28i. I still want the sony flavor of android compare with the other custom roms.
If you can help me to install this, I would much appreciate it.

[Q] disadvantages of updating xperia arc s to ICS

hey guyz,
i am using sony ericsson xperia arc s (LT18i). current OS android gingerbread 2.3.4. when i connected to pc companion it showed an update. but i heard that ICS is not suitable for xperia arc s. there are some prb with updating arc s to ICS. i mean after updating arc s to ICS there occurs some bugs related or other problem after updating xperia arc s. so can anyone tell me in details. lyk wat are the disadvantages of updating arc s to ICS.
thank u.....
Well stock ICS is pretty bad and laggy so you can look for custom roms like CM... Sony didn't make a very good ICS update even though they released it early. I recommend custom roms However if you want to keep your BL locked, there are roms that are for you too just search and you shall find

I'm assuming your phone's bootloader is locked (which is normal), so here's 2 roms that are pretty popular, based on ics, and makes your phone run like dual core
Jelly Sandwhich
Xperia Ultimate HD

I agree with lofty, the stock ICS .587 is working great. Very stable and everything works 100%. My own experience with custom roms and super duper extremely fast scripts is also that they create more problems and makes your phone unstable or cause other unexepected behaviors.
It is an "old" phone with single core and no super scripts or custom roms will make up for the single core and low memory. And yet it is my preffered phone on .587 even compared to my wifes experia S.
I have no issues with the stock rom. I updated andreo libs (gpu drivers)
Now the rom is even more faster

It is not as smooth as GB for me. Fairly laggier, do you guys agree?
+1, had been using stock Ics and custom roms for sometime then back to arconium gb. It's still the best rom for my arc S.
I'm using 587 fw on my Neo and is running very smooth ( almost like GB) but it is almost unusable for hard games. But i'm not using it for gaming, i'm using it more for media, and with the latest apps from Xperia T, is awesome. So if you want to use it more for gaming, stay with Gingerbread, otherwise upgrade to ICS because IMO is way better than Gingerbread. BTW, i've tried almost every custom rom, and always i've returned to stock, because it's simply the best.

Stock ICS .587 is excellent. There are a lot more features in it than in GB, I didn't notice any speed difference between GB and ICS other than the Google voice search and Recent apps (hold menu button) take a bit longer to start up the first time (they are quick after that).
I would recommend rooting ICS using this guide: http://talk.sonymobile.com/thread/41119?start=0&tstart=0
Rooting will allow you to run an app from the Play Store which can uninstall those pesky bloatware apps.
And if you suppercharge ICS it's even better - even if you only supercharge 50%!!!!
Supercharger V6: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=991276
Cheers.
Enjoy the update!

It's laggy thanks to bloatware and not being fully optimized. Custom ROMs and/or tweaking at your own will remove lag problem!

Hmm not really. Maybe in some games... Just root, de-bloatware, update adreno libs and install supremacy script, and the GB smoothness is there

I want to install a ROM which has the best customization options of the UI and a kernel which has the best performance.

Does anyone know if it's possible to have the Stock Sony ICS and have the GB wifi module flashed to it? I'm asking because when I updated my mk16a I lost the Access Point functionality and it is very important for me to have it. I really love ICS but I had to go back to GB because of this issue. Thanks in adavnce!
in fact, is the kernel for arc /s work on xperia pro?

Thanks for your reply. I've just checked out your ROM for the Xperia S and it looks very awesome. I just have 2 questions:
1. Do I have to flash .55 FW before I flash you ROM ? If yes , please give me a link to download it :good:
2. Does your ROM have major bugs such as CM10 low volume , no 1080P and no FM radio ?
Thanks again for your suggestion. I'm ver excited to try your ROM ASAP.
