Hey thanks for the quick reply!
Yeah I followed this guide at a blogspot website.
It had me flash it with WICKED v10. It didn't work so now I just want it back to normal and I will purchase a sim unlock code from somewhere.
I followed another guide on youtube on how to get it back to stock which I followed.
For the most part it took off most of the Wicked stuff but on the lock screen it still says WICKED and there is an icon with utilities for it, So I am guessing it is not completely removed??
I tried using the phone reset function but still it remains??
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!!

Just out of interest, if you go to Menu > About Device, what does it say for Model Number, Android Version and Baseband Version? These will help determine the next steps.
Thanks.

Take a look at this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1949687.
On the first post, you'll see the firmware under ***root66***. Click "Show Content" to get the listing of zip files. Under the T999 heading (not T999L), grab the zip file for T999_UVDMD5 - Official JB Firmware - Latest JB 4.1.2 Firmware.
Once you have that, scroll down to the second post - it will tell you how to flash that file via Odin (as well as download links in case you don't have Odin). This will return your phone to stock everything (including recovery) but with Root injected into it so you can flash a custom recovery after the reset. It will also upgrade you to Version 4.1.2.
Good luck.
--EDIT-- You'll need to go to the second post to the part entitled, "How to Flash the Stock Firmware" and the sub-heading "Using Odin".

You followed the Wrong Guide. You follow the Root66 Thread. Since you don't even want your phone to be rooted, you may want to download the Stock firmware from Sammobile.

I did flash with ODIN the stock firmware but as stated it still says WICKED on lock screen and in apps there is a control panel for it. So it is still not all gone. Just want the phone as it came in box in first place. The link you gave me is very confusing. I know a lot about many subjects and can learn quickly, but right now I just need a guide that step by step tells me how to do it.

Need Stock Firmware/ROM for Glaxy S4 SGH-M919V (Videotron)

Hi I installed SwapSD on my sgh-m919v Galaxy S4 from Videotron but it totally screwed up my phone.. Now I get ''mtp has stopped'' ''settings has stopped'' and ''android.process.media has stopped'' each time I start the phone. I've been looking for the stock rom for my specific model (SGH-M919V) for hours but can't find it anywhere. I tried using SGH-M919 stock rom but it won't work even if I strictly follow the guide, ODIN tells me FAIL!! (Auth).. Could someone upload the stock rom for that specific model somewhere and give me the link please ?
I attached a screen capture from odin to show you what problem i get

Not sure if you got what you needed but you can take the phone back to stock using Samsung Kies, just plug the phone in download mode select "tools" then "Firmware upgrade and initialization", input your phones info and off you go..
if you could also grab the rom downloaded by Kies and uploaded for us that'd be cool.

Unfortunately reverting back to stock with Kies has not worked for me either with that method.
Hopefully the stock firmware for this carrier will drop soon!

I too would like the stock firmware for this device before I start tinkering with it.
I am surprised however that odin fails while flashing the sgh-m919 firmware. I thought these devices were essentially the same.
Have you fixed your phone yet, and how so?

I've soft bricked my phone and would really appreciate a stock m919V firmware. I've installed a bad kernel and/or rom and even the partitions are all screwed up. Nothing to do without a m919v odin flashable image.
Anybody?

Good luck flashing it back to stock and reviving your S4.
Awesome. I'm downloading right not, but since I'm not a paid member on hotfile I'll only know in an hour if it works. I'll keep everybody posted, hopefully I'll be able to flash it with odin.
I'm also wondering what the no-name firmware on sammobile is. They posted the videotron, wind, and mobilcity firmwares. Is the no-name one unbranded? We'll have to wait and see.
So I downloaded the videotron firmware and it worked. Everything is back.
I'll try the unbranded version to see what it does.
Did you install the stock firmware using the stock recovery?

I believe he would have flashed the stock firmware using Odin for Windows. At least that's how it is normally done.
I just downloaded the videotron firmware from the website, I didn't flash the recovery. It's .md5 format, so I've flashed it with Odin. The phone was on CWM recovery, but it doesn't really matter as the firmware flashes the stock recovery too.
So I just flashed the videotron image in odin, phone rebooted and everything is fine, I'm back to stock, including no root and stock recovery. The only thing that's still there is the fact that phone is unlocked. (I've used the method described in the forum to unlock it).
As for the other firmware, it has _ESK in the name. I'm 99.9999% sure it's Eastlink firmware, another mobile carrier in Canada. The other ones had _VTR and so on in their name.
thanks for the info

[Q] SGH-I747 Update Issues to 4.4.2

I'm trying to help out a friend and update his Galaxy S3 SGH-I747. He originally had cyanogenmod installed but he restored his phone back to stock and flashed a stock recovery back to the phone. When he tries to do an OTA updated it downloads but fails to install? His current android version is 4.1.1 but his baseband is I747UCUFNE4 which if im not mistaken is for android 4.4.2 what would be the easiest way to get his phone updated to the stock 4.4.2 software?

Thanks, I had found the last link (....2789917) by doing a Google search (i.e., searching within the forum was less successful).
Hey bmoliver and BWolf56,
I am in the same boat as your friend where my baseband (bootloader) version is I747UCUFNE4 but the software version is stuck at 4.1.1. AT&T is identifying a OTA update, downloading but the update is failing.
I tried the method described in http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2789917. But when I am trying to flash MJB bootloader, it is failing. I read elsewhere in this forum that downgrading from UCU to MJB is not really advisable.
I am stuck in 4.1.1 and my phone is half functional at the moment with the camera, nfc, bluetooth not functional :crying:.
Was your friend able to get this resolved bmoliver?
I tried searching for a I747UCUFNE4 md5 file that I can flash using odin (just a hope that it might work) but could not find.
It would be great if one of you can point me to it.
PS: I am a complete newbie to this entire thing and so far from what I read, my phone is probably soft-bricked and am hoping that someone would guide and help me get out of this.
EDIT: One more thing that I observed is when I am trying flash something in the download mode, I get the error and "sw rev check fail fused 3 binary 0" and it fails
Thanks,
CJ

You don't want to downgrade bootloaders, that will brick your phone.
You'll have to flash NE4 with Odin (or a NE4 custom ROM through custom recovery) to get your baseband and software matching.
The thread you linked should work if you follow it to a T. If something doesn't work, let us know and be specific about what happened.
Thanks for the info BWolf56,
Sorry for asking a trivial question (just getting accustomed to the lingo used here) .
When you say I should follow it to a T, are you just referring to follow all the steps.
I tried two things
1. follow each step, but failed at step 3 since I was trying to downgrade my bootloader.
2. I jumped from step 2 to step 6 and tried to flash 4.4.2OTA.zip in recovery mode but that also failed. I dont remember the exact error I got, I can try it again to give you more details if you think it is safe.
Thanks

If you jumped to #6, you didn't flash a custom recovery, which you need to flash the OTA.
I did install TWRP 2.6.3.1 which I am guessing is the custom recovery (as part of step 2) and then I tried to flash the OTA. Am I missing something here?

Sounds like you'll have to use Odin to flash Stock.
Your build.prop is most likely borked (or has been changed to something it's not). d2u is not a variant of the S3, nor does it exist.
Thanks a ton for helping me identify the problem.
I just have to look if a stock file to flash using odin is out there somewhere.
I will post in http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2789917 to see if enewman17 or someone from the community have a tar or md5 file that I can use.
I will try that and update on how it goes.

There isn't a NE4 stock for Odin. I just noticed the post hasn't been updated in a while.
I though I could find it on Sammobile.com but they have LK3 as their latest too.
Since you somehow have the 4.4.2 modem, you can not flash anything older than the 4.4.2 firmware. Currently there is nothing that you can flash to fix this. Normally, I would say to flash an older modem, but if Odin is seeing it as already updated to 4.4.2 (SWREV 3), and the only thing you have that is 4.4.2 is the modem, flashing anything older will likely hard brick.
You need either the full stock firmware, which there is not one, Thanks AT&T!, or a recovery flashable firmware for 4.4.2. Enewman17 has this, but it will not work for you because of how the modem is flashed. For some reason, he has it patching the 4.3 modem rather than including the full updated one like with the other partitions. If someone makes the same thing, but with the already updated modem, you could probably flash that. No guarantees though. Running 4.1.1 firmware/bootloaders with a 4.4.2 modem is a scenario which is highly unpredictable, so anything you try to flash might cause more problems, we just don't know.
I've PM'd enewman17 to ask if there was a specific reason he updated the modem the way he did. If there is not an issue doing it like i mentioned someone can try to make a new package like that for you to try.
Thanks Doc!
Hopefully enewman17 can come up with a solution for this.
Just an information which I was not able to completely comprehend but maybe pros like you or Bwolf56 will be able to.
I opened Kies and this is what it says.
Firmware information
This is the latest firmware.
Current firmware version: PDA:LK3 / PHONE:NE4 / CSC:LK3 (ATT)
Any thoughts on how do I get the PDA and CSC updated (not even sure what exactly they are)
Thanks

If someone makes the same thing, but with the already updated modem, you could probably flash that. No guarantees though. Running 4.1.1 firmware/bootloaders with a 4.4.2 modem is a scenario which is highly unpredictable, so anything you try to flash might cause more problems, we just don't know.
I've PM'd enewman17 to ask if there was a specific reason he updated the modem the way he did. If there is not an issue doing it like i mentioned someone can try to make a new package like that for you to try.

Ok, enewman17 just put this together if you want to try it. This includes the full NE4 stock firmware minus system, kernel, cache and recovery.
So flashing it will preserve your current Rom, kernel and recovery, but will otherwise fully update your base firmware/bootloaders to NE4.
This should be perfectly safe to use, but seeing as it is untested, I cannot make any guarantees that it won't make things worse. (I wouldn't post it if I thought it would, but there is always the possibility)
Flash from custom recovery such as TWRP.

If you want to fully update your system (rom) to stock NE4, enewman17 has a thread in the development section with stock rooms you can flash via recovery after you update your firmware posted above.

If you have trouble getting the bootloader and/or Modem to stick, install "Triangle Away" by @Chainfire and follow the directions to reset your counter (even if it says zero), then boot into download mode, and re-flash them with Odin and they should stick.
To verify, you can download "Phone Info - Samsung" and make sure that all 4 items say NF4 (Bootloader, Baseband, PDA and CSC).

quick question..ive went back and forth from samsung note 3 tmobile..and my htc m8 sprint..ive been with sprint on my htc m8 for while now and ive kinda forgotton samsung ways..or jus confused i guess..with the htc m8 they have modified firmware zips without stock recovery and without anything that would take us back to stock..what im trying to ask is..is there a odin package we could flash that can update every parition ,where i wouldnt have to start over,or re root ..just update everything to NE6 witch is the latest firmware i think..and i get to keep my custom rom and custom recovery?a single package to flash..im thinking most likely all i need is in above post nut needs flashed one by one?and it is all the NE6 most up to date firmware ?..sorry for the newbie questions..and odin is the only tool we use to flash with samsung right

There isn't a way to do this while retaining the rom and root.
Also, the latest is NF9.

[Q] N7100 Help Service State: Out Of Service. And More.

Dear all,
Well I dont know where to start. But here is what happened with my N7100 Note 2.
I was on the latest 4.4.2, the phone restarted suddenly one day and it just dont boot stuck at samsung logo,
flashed the 4.4.2 stock from sammobile. and it worked fine everything was perfect for a week, till it happened again
flashed the same rom. and here is where the trouble begins.
The IMEI changed to generic 00499XXX.., Serial No: 000000
i managed to downgrade to 4.1.2 with mobile odin, flashed a lot of stocks and customs as well. And after a very hard work for a week i manage to get back my IMEI and serial number back, now I backed up my EFS learned my lesson
Now i flashed the stock rom 4.1.1, phone is unlocked. cant make calls, or sms or data internet.
Now I have service: out of service, Bluetooth address: unavailable (while its in the efs folder the mac is in the file), Device status modified, And when I connect it to USB it wont recognize the phone until I have to dial *#7284# and change USB from modem to PDA, then save and reset. (EVERYTIME) I need a permanent fix as well for that.
Please I need help with those as i cant make my phone work.
Thanks and regards,
Mohamed Selim.
First and most important:
If you ever were on stock 4.4.x you can't downgrade to 4.1.x because of knoxed bootloader.
What you did with mobile odin was no real downgrade cause your bootloader wasn't touched.
Don't try to flash firmware beyond your current bootloader version.
Install Samsung Phone Info app from play store and look for actual bootloader version.

As I said before: YOU DID NOT DOWNGRADE firmware to 4.1.2 with Mobile Odin, check with Info app from Samsung:
You will find bootloader between *ND3 and *NI1 and all are 4.4.2 KitKat
So, whatever firmware you try to flash under 4.4.2 is supposed to fail.

Mobile Odin does everything but doesn't flash bootloader so it is like flashing a custom rom which also doesn't contain bootloader.
PC Odin flashes complete firmware, so this is the only way to really up- or downgrade. Hope you understand the difference.
The only solution I see for you is to concentrate on 4.4.2 equal or up your actual bootloader version.

I really want to help you out and I assure you that I know what I am talking about (take a look into my signature with stock roms and bootloaders).
There is indeed no solution on 4.1.1 and the screenshot doesn't show bootloader version. To believe what I say try to find out what BL version you are on. If it shows XXUFND3 up to XXUFNI1 you have the proof.

XXUFND3 was the first KitKat firmware for N7100 and yours was the second.
Three options:
1) Flash firmware using PC Odin at least ND4, maybe better NE1 or up
2) Flash through recovery any stock KitKat custom rom provided by wesamothman, cosmyndemeter or me
3) Flash through recovery any KitKat custom rom you like from development section here
4.3 custom roms may work also, but not 100% sure.
Beyond 4.3 I wouldn't recommend.

Best and fastest one is XXUFNI1, NH2 and NG3 aren't bad either.
Do a clean installation (factory reset) and after setup device go back into recovery to flash SuperSu.zip.:highfive:

No need to flash BL cause you already have KitKat BL
