Confused about flo and deb - Nexus 7 (2013) Q&A

Will be getting my Nexus 7 today I ordered the 32Gb LTE one here in the Philippines.
My questions is what is the difference of the flo and the deb?

Deb is the term for the LTE model while flo is WiFi only.

I started at XDA TV: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XM3CBtAaoWU
That video explains the process nicely I think and also has the relevant threads in the description.

Thanks alot death will watch this later reading and browsing the forums atm.

I used this in rooting my N7 flo.

I believe it would also work with your n7 deb.

Will try it later just updated to kitkat and will the cwm or twrp will work for both flo and deb?

Root jss15q

Is there a different rooting toolkit specifically for the 2013 Nexus 7 on JSS15Q? I was going to follow zedomax YouTube video but I'm not sure if it is for this version. Thanks for any help!!

Nexus 7 (2012)

I've got a 32gb 2012 nexus 7. Was wondering if anyone was running UT on the same device and if so is it possible to just upload a backup of UT and me restore to it in my TWRP?

Of course its possible to install UT on Nexus 7. I even made a guide for this in my blog:

Any reason to root?

I use my 2013 model primarily for reading, web surfing, Facebook and some forums (like XDA). Any reason to root it? I don't plan to install another ROM (I use a Nook HD for that.)

If that's all you use it for, then no.

Same here, I like everything original, don't need to root
