LG e988 questions - LG Optimus G (International)

hello, i am looking to get a LG optimus G pro. I am currently using LG optimus G. Looking to get some pros and cons from people whom already have it.
I love the LGOG,(the customised OS, the speed, and the UI) but a few problems irk me and is really getting on my nerves. The lack of an internal memory card slot, and USB OTG not supported.
Is USB OTG supported on LGOG pro?
Does stock firmware support installing apps to external memory card?

And why ask here and not the g pro section??how do you expect to know?

I think that may be more directed to the 4X HD forum since there, you'll have people who can help port it.

Optimus GK

So, Koreans are getting the candy again. LG has released Optimus GK with pretty much everything we dreamt of for Optimus G.
1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor
2GB RAM
16GB internal + MicroSD slot
5-inch full HD IPS display with 1080x1920 pixels resolution
13-megapixel rear camera
2-megapixel front-facing camera
Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean
3100mAh battery
Only thing missing is Android 4.2.2, but surely that comes. So who wants this new beauty? I sure do!
it's the optimus pro lol

G Pro has 5,5 display.
Looks uglier than the OG to be honest...

It's the pro in 5" packing pretty much, but not pro ^^
Edit: well, it seems to be the docomo version of pro, so we were both half right, anyways I hope this is released international.
docomo pro is L-04E
Me thinks this version is what LG will present to AT&T on may 1st, not 5.5" version but 5" version. It's pretty obvious, SGalaxy S4 must have an concurrent
Just about to take Optimus G.
But, Optimus Gk announcement puts a wait for my next phone.
3000+ battery and 5inch FullHD is a Biggest Plus.
But only thing missing from this GK will be back design of Optimus G.
Optimus GK is more of a copy from Optimus G Pro. But, Optimus G has a nice clean boxy design.
Optimus GK is having a curved back design, like G Pro.
I will wait for GK International availability.

One thing I know for sure, if you'll wait for intenational GK you'll not get it. Cause when it will be presented LG will unveil in Korea Optimus G2 with specs sky high, starting with Snap800 SoC, 2 or maybe 3Gig RAM, OLED 5,2" matrix and all other goodies. So you'll end up waiting till G2 come internationally, it will be around November. Needless to say that the newest flagship will be announced to come by Christmas...
I'm buying G Pro, let others wait
GK is small version of G pro lol.
They even looks same except the size. I mean same ugly
i think GK stands for lg optimus GK ,K for (korea)
I have checked LG OPTIMUS GK with cpu-z and it shown Snapdgragon S4pro not Snapdragon 600 as their spect. Have any one check it?
I thought the GK is the Japan version of G Pro? Could not remember where I read this..

No its not.
Its a modified version of regular G or G pro, some kind of mix, pretty ugly by the way.

Recovery for LG G Pad v490

Hello.
Surfing the net today I found a recover for LG G Pad 8.0 v490
Tested and working well, I put it here because there is no a specific forum for this tablet.

I think you're confusing the G Pad 8.0 with the G Pad 8.3. This is the forum for the 8.3. I know, it sounds confusing, but apart from almost the same screen size, the internals differ a lot.

no, I'm not confused what happens is that there is a forum for this tablet. If the moderator finds that it can not be here to delete the post.

[Q] LG Optimus G E970 vs LG Leon LTE

Hello xdavelopers. I have a big question about these cellphones.
So, i was looking for a Optimus G E970 but now i see the New LG Leon LTE and is very modern. Which one would you recommend and why? Compare the years, Optimus G released 2012, LG Leon 2015 april. What do you say about this or what is your opinion. Thanks so much for reading and hope your for your help!
I own the leon. It's a great phone. Stock scores a 22000 benchmark on antutu. (Which is very good for a lowend phone.)
Lollipop and cache surviving reboots make it snappy. Battery is meh, but we have root and twrp.
