Installation Guide
For a quick, down and dirty (so to speak) installation guide look below. I will update with a cleaner guide in a few days.
Please before you do anything, make a nandroid backup.
1) Download the ZIP file from the link above and check with the MD5 hash to make sure that it is correct
If you do not already have a 4.3 modem please click here to download the correct modem. Put it on the SD card and flash at the end of this install!
2) Put it on your SD card (external or internal)
3) Reboot into recovery, wipe data/cache and dalvik cache
4) Install from SD card and flash the Rage zip file
5) Follow the steps in AROMA for setup and choose Custom or Default (all apps/bloatware will be loaded) for installation type.
6) This WILL flash the Insecure AT&T kernel
7) Once installation is complete, reboot your phone and enjoy!
8) If you have not installed, make sure you do that after install (uncheck the Reboot on AROMA). Remember the first boot will take a few minutes, let it completely install. I always make sure to install backed up apps after that or install new apps/update new apps from the Play store. After you have done so, restart phone again seems to help everything
9) If when through recovery you get asked about disabling recovery click yes and asked about making sure you have root, again click yes.

Frequently Asked Questions
Have something you want to see in the next version? Custom Kernels, Mods, Themes, etc? PM me and let me know
How can I get even BETTER battery life?
You can still receive SMS (not MMS) if you have data turned off. Settings > More Networks > Mobile Networks > Uncheck Mobile Data. You can use that while sleeping/etc to get unbelievable battery life with this ROM!
Phones usually take a couple battery cycles to get themselves doped out properly. Give it a couple battery cycles to recalibrate itself.
You can also recalibrate your battery with Battery Calibration. Charge your phone to 100% (use currentwidget to make sure its actually at 100% and 2100mAh) then calibrate your battery using the app. Let your phone die completely, then charge completely.
Does Native Tethering Work?
I have not tested it yet, however, if it does not you can go to the link provided to get it to work:
Enable Tethering
Does Google Wallet work?
Fixed in Version 2.0
Is 4Way Reboot included or unlimited multi-window working?
Not yet but Xposed has a download for Advanced Power Menu to offer that.
How Do I Turn on Developer Options?
Go to Settings > More > About Device > Click on Build Number 7 times!
Any other requests for mods that you would like seen, or bugs please report so they can be fixed.

Hopefully well uploaded to Terafile but when I tried to download said it was only downloading 100 MB of the 819 Uploaded so not sure whats going on there. The file server maybe hasnt verified the whole file or something would be my only guess...so still waiting...

Test Download Link
If someone wants to test the download link can you PM me please and I will send it. Just want to make sure its working before I post it.
EDIT: Terafile is still processing and uploading the file to their servers. At about 250MB (819.9MB total). Thanks for your patience.

nice. don't mean to compare or sound rude, but how is this different from Saranhai and Team Inferno's StockMOD ROM, the custom version?

At the time I started making this, I didnt see any with a custom AROMA install and the ability to choose whatever applications I wanted to put in my ROM. Also, didnt see any that included the Modem and Kernels in the same ROM and had to download everything. I decided to put in my own build.prop tweaks (still working/testing some) and went to AROMA installer from amarullz and decided to take DocHoliday's ROM (official release) and customize it with bloatware removal, AROMA, custom install, etc.
Never used Saranhai's / Team Inferno's ROM either

No worries, I wanted to keep mine as stock and debloated as possible. Used DocHoliday's until I made this. Also, I am not sure about that I can tell you though that its working for me right now 4G and all.

Good news! Link is up... Bad news terfile limits bandwidth and says it will take 4 hours to download. Still waiting on AFH for hosting and faster downloads. If you have a better recommendation for another file hosting server let me know! Hope it works out for everyone and you enjoy!
EDIT: ROM is being loaded to Android File Host now

Finally Available!
Sorry for spamming up my own thread! BUT - Link is FINALLY up for Android File Host and another will be posted shortly as the file is being uploaded to XDA as well for a backup! Installation instructions and an FAQ section is posted too! Good luck!

Will be checking it out. Prob tomorrow. Tired and ready for bed. Will post tomorrow how it goes. One question. Are you on new our older bootloader. I ask because I've noticed that the only room that works well on new bootloader other than the actual official itself is doc's official deodexed

Can we REALLY format the external disk with that rom? I've tried Hi1jason's CM10 v3.0 rom but sim toolkit is not working and has a few bugs. One thing I like with his rom is a longer battery life. More power kababayan!
Hi1jason's CM10 v3.1 is out. Will try it soon.

Well based on search here, Currently, SIM Toolkit will not work on our phone. Maybe on some other countries it'll work. I have used Hi1Jason's kernel for this ROM and I have tweaked it to make it more battery saving. I'll be posting in a while the details of this ROM.
wow wow wow i wanna eat jelly bean....can't wait!!!!

Sorry for the Delay. I have found some minor bugs while on my final test. I have canceled the upload for some changes.
Awesome Beats will be deleted for some conflicts in the ROM. But I'll post the link of it later if you wish to flash it on your phone.
Meanwhile, this will just be a RC1 version.

I would like to apologize for what hapened. It seems that too many members downloaded my OptiBean RC1. But dont worry, the next link that I will be posting is the RC2 Already.
Please Donate Guys if you like my work.
First of all, thank you for your hard work. It's go great to see someone from the same country I live in developing a rom for this phone! (Im not Filipino though).
By the way, the rom is huge in size. (320mb!) Is this because of Gapps included in the rom? AFAIK, it is against Google's policy to include Gapps in a custom rom. You may have to remove the apps from your rom and link a set of gapps from Goo.im or something similar.
I'm downloading the rom now. Will report back after testing it.

Actually those are inverted Gapps that I have included. And in my next release it will be based from the latest cm10-M2 from cyanogen MOD... It will be packed with latest features of cm10.
It's just for testing. Because some of the GAPPS are not compatible with it so I have to select those that works.
Don't worry my Boy, I will seperate it once everything is in order. So for now, it will be included since it is not really released by google itself. It has been modified by some devs here so no worries.

Okay. it was just my 2 cents.
Anyway, I've been running the rom for past 2 days and it looks fine.
Here are just a few things that I want to address...
- Led flashlight toggle cannot be enabled for the notification bar.
- Can notice very minor graphical glitches found in UI animation.
- There seems to be some battery drain. I'm not sure what causes this. (Could be wifi?) It's not just for your rom, but prevails all other roms for this phone. For other devices that I had (see my signature), 1% or less per minute with WIFI on was very normal. but I'm getting at least 3 to 5% per hour now which is not satisfactory at all. Do you have any information on this?

Your feedback is much appreciated.
Wifi issue is caused by the tweak that I have made to its wifi connection.. Maybe I'll try to make fix it with the latest tweaks..

GOOD NEWS. I'M DONE WITH MY LATEST BUILD OF OPTIBEAN AND ITS BEEN ON BETA-TESTING STAGE AND CURRENTLY RUNNING SMOOTH.
HOPEFULLY I COULD POST IT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
JUST DONATE IF YOU WANT TO, BUT IF NOT THEN YOU ARE NOT FORCE. BETTER TO SHUT YOUR MOUTH IF YOU DON'T HAVE ANY GOOD THINGS TO SAY.
CHANGES:
Latest JB Build (CM10) 4.1.2
Latest Recovery 6.0.1.5
Latest Hi1Jason 3.1JB Kernel
Latest Apps
Remove/Separated GAPPS
More tweaks and fix
New Boot Animation
Added new apps
Ported SG III Camera
and more....
SOON TO BE RELEASED (",)
No harsh feeling here but donation should be pure giving. What you are asking starts to look more like selling as you emphasize the word "donation" in every post you make.
If you really need funds to continue, better monetize your rom. Create some locked features, and make an app that unlocks them and sell it on Play Store.

Welcome to SentinelROM for Nexus 10. Based on CM10.2. Android 4.3
This ROM is based on CyanogenMod 10.2 with all the features you get in a CM10.2 ROM, plus the following features.
Compiled with Linaro toolchain for enhanced performance.
Aroma Installer for additional tweaks and options
Zip Aligned
Compiled from latest CyanogenMod 10.2 source
Improved Web Browsing performance
Improved 3D gaming performance
Improved battery life
Additional theming and UI customisation
FAST support via this page and our Facebook Page
________________________
This ROM has been built to enhance the CyanogenMod 10.2 experience, with faster gaming and web browsing performance (no choppyness in Chrome too!).
Countless hours have been spent making tweaks to settings to squeeze the most performance I can find out of this ROM while still providing excellent battery life and without the dangers of overclocking and kernel level tweaking.
I compile this ROM and Kernel from the latest CyanogenMod source code, add my various tweaks and adjustments, then test for stability, so you get all the benefits of CyanogenMod 10.2, plus my tweaks and extras, all without the instability and inconvenience of flashing CyanogenMod nightlies (which are not designed specifically for the Nexus 10 like my ROM is.
The kernel source is available from the CyanogenMod's GitHub.

None that I am aware of. Please report any issues in this thread or on the Facebook page.
Note: On CM10.1 ROMs, to access the internal SD card on your device via USB on your PC, please go to "Settings" - "About Tablet" and tap on "Build Number" repeatedly to unlock "Developer Options". Now go to "Developer Options" and enable "Android Debugging".
________________________
If installing for the first time:
To install this ROM you will need to have an unlocked bootloader and a custom Recovery such as TWRP or ClockWorkMod installed (personally I recommend TWRP, I have had issues with restoring backups using CWM). If you haven't yet unlocked your bootloader and installed a custom recovery, I recommend downloading and installing the Nexus 10 Toolkit.
Copy the downloaded SentinelROM zip to your Internal Storage.
Boot into your custom recovery
Back up your stock ROM
Factory Reset and wipe Cache and Dalvik Cache
Wipe System Partition
Install the ROM
Install GAPPS
Reboot. First boot can take up to 5 minutes.
Important: CyanogenMod statics is switched off by default in this ROM. After installation you will be asked if you want to turn it on, please leave it off.
Note: Use of titanium backup to restore apps and data from another ROM is not recommended, and is the source of 90% of user issues, especially when it comes to battery life. Do so at your own risk.
You may flash other kernels as you wish via recovery. Remember to also flash the correct libraries for any 3rd party kernels.Instructions will be given by the Kernel author. NOTE: Updating the ROM via OTA will also overwrite any custom Kernels you have installed.
________________________
Thanks very much to all those who have answered my questions through the process of creating my own ROM, you know who you are.
CyanogenMod for their outstanding work. Full credit to them for the bulk of this ROM.

For extreme performance, give KTManta Kernel by ktoonsez a go. It improves gaming performance significantly, but your device will get quite hot.
I'm going to do some more testing and may include it in later builds.

Re: [ROM] [28/01/13] - SentinelROM v3.00 - CM10.1 Base - Fast, Stable, Themed
I spent 4 hours yesterday trying to get it working and had to give up for this build. I could do it for AOSP but can't get it to work on CM10 base. Ill keep trying though.

Is there a tabletUI option for this release?
I looked at Tablet UI as an option, but the consensus is that it's depreciated and support will become less and less over time, so I decided to leave it out with this ROM.
Re: [ROM] [28/01/13] - SentinelROM v3.00 - CM10.1 Base - Fast, Stable, Themed
What does he mean by that is he talking about the action bar or the menu button that appears on the right?
Anyhow I had an idea that maybe I could work on some modifications that I would like on this ROM without having to ask you for it, but I am very new at it and all of the guides I have found are either out of date or are poorly written so I didn't understand how to do it. Do you think you could direct me in the right direction to get started? I would really appreciate it, thank you very much.
Sent from my Nexus 10 using xda app-developers app
Yeah he means moving the navigation bar at the bottom so that the Back, Home and Running buttons are off to the left hand side.
I figured out how to move them and it works perfectly in SentinelROM AOSP, but it seems that CM10.1 is using some weird scaling in the systemUI to fit the large screen of the N10. Even when I modify the XML to adjust the alignment to the far left, it sits about 3 quarters of the way across. From what I can tell, as far as the systemUI knows, this is the edge of the screen and the rest of the area is deadzone. I'll spend some more time later in the week working on it.
Anyone else is always welcome to make mods and tweaks (anything that works with this ROM should also work with other CM10 based ROMS). I welcome and encourage it in the spirit of open source! Hey this whole ROM is pretty much a CyanogenMod Kang.
You just need to package them up as flash-able zips that can be flashed via recovery. If I like them, I'll include them in future builds with your permission
To make mods you will need 7-ZIP, Notepad++ and APKTool. You just need to extract the APK you want to edit using APKTool, then make your modifications using Notepad++, then compile using APKTool and merge your modded resources with the original APK in 7-Zip. Then you just need to push the modified APK to your device (I use Android Commander for that). Compiling into a flash-able zip is a little more tricky but there are plenty of guides around.

Hello,
sorry for newbie questions, but in the thread of Craigacgomez he linked a GAPPS (GoogleAppsPack-4.2.1-JOP40D.zip)

There is a zip file for "me" (gapps-jb-20121212-signed.zip) with only 90 MB
Why is the size so different?

now I installed your rom with gapps-jb-20121212-signed.zip, but I have very few EQS
Can I somewhere set up, what I want to control with EQS?
Re: [ROM] [28/01/13] - SentinelROM v3.00 - CM10.1 Base - Fast, Stable, Themed
Thanks for the nice little simple guide at the hell of a lot easier to understand than all the other ones I found. If I have any problems with making it it flash able, even with looking at the different guides out there. I know I can come to you, thank you. My goal is to incorporate be modifications that allow me to modify the bottom bar, the Quick Settings bar with the message settings app, the notification LEDs, and to be able to make my ROM updatable over the air. I bet this will be a very difficult thing to achieve but nothing easy is worth doing.

Hi mate,
EQS is completely configurable from Settings - System - Quick Settings Panel
I'm not sure why the GAPPS package is smaller, but it's the one CyanogenMod recommend with any CyanogenMod based ROMs and I haven't had any problems. with it.
Re: [ROM] [28/01/13] - SentinelROM v3.00 - CM10.1 Base - Fast, Stable, Themed
I suggest installing Nova launcher it is amazing you can customize so many things that is ridiculous. I installed that one and uninstalled the one that comes with the ROM and I couldn't be happier.

I'm working on this. Again this seems to be a "feature" of CyanogenMod at the moment and has to do with how the screen is scaled on the N10 to fit the larger screen. You'll notice that the icons remain the exact same width when you rotate to portrait. I believe there is some missing code somewhere in the launcher and systemUI which stretches to fit the screen.

Any lag on the home screen and menus when using Nova? I always found it to lag my other devices, but haven't used it much on the N10.

All the code for the bottom bar is in SystemUI.APK, it also ties in with code in Settings.APK which allows you to configure it's buttons.
As for OTA, I don't think you'll be able to do that because you need a server which you can poll and check updates against. At the moment most of the original CyanogenMod code is still there, I've just deleted references in the layout.xml for settings.apk so they do not show up in the menus. I'll have a look at some stage to see if I can modify the code to simply point to my own server, but I doubt it will be that straight forward.
I got an invite yesterday to list my ROM on RomManager, so I'll look into that as an option for now. I don't rank it high on the list of things to do though as it does not affect ROM functionality at all. I'd rather work on improving other things

Here it is guys! Your very own T-Mobile 4.3 TouchWiz Leaked Rom!
These currently do carry the AT&T insecure kernel, but otherwise are 100% T-Mobile builds!
Yes! This does include WiFi Calling!
Before going any further, please understand, these are built from LEAKED internal test firmware!
This means that there are bound to be some bugs along the way. So far they have been relatively few and this has been surprisingly stable, but there could still be some nasties lurking in wait!
Also, considering the nature of these ROMs, please do not report on or complain about any bugs if you have dirty flashed or applied any mods.
With the Official release right around the corner, I don't have any really major plans for this. Its more to get familiar with 4.3, Knox, seLinux, etc. That said, I may or may not attempt to release any mods for these. Time allowing of course.
What is working? Well, as far as I can tell, EVERYTHING!!! Yes, this includes WiFi Calling, BT, GPS, etc!
But this is where you come in! No one person can fully test a ROM and all of its features, so please post if you find any issues. But as I already mentioned, please only do so if you have clean flashed and applied no mods.
Downloads
T999_4.3_MJ4_PureStock
This is 100% the full MJ4 build (except kernel). I have not removed Knox or anything, and I have left it Odexed. Zero changes! This is more for devs or anyone who wants to dig into how Knox works and is affecting things. Or for those who just want to see what the full stock build is like. Understand that Knox and seLinux do interfere with root. So if you have problems with your root apps, I suggest you try the deodexed, Knox Free, build below. (I will provide a separate secure kernel later for flashing for those who want to set seLinux to enforcing.)
T999_4.3_UVUEMJ4_Full_deodexed_KnoxFree
This ROM has NOT been debloated. Only Knox, CIQ, and SysScope have been removed. Deodexed, full build.
T999_4.3_UVUEMJ4_deodexed_debloated_KnoxFree
This ROM has been deodexed, Knox removed, CIQ free, a few things removed and a few more added.

Installation
If you are currently on a Non-Touchwiz Rom, you will have to Factory Reset
Because this is a Leaked build, I suggest starting clean. Preferably with already up to date MD5 firmware.
If you are not, Please Odin flash the MD5 root66 firmware. (Link to thread in my signature).
Download your choice of ROM, and the MJ4 Modem.
Flash in CWM/TWRP Recovery exactly as you would with any other Rom or Modem!
Thats it! Nothing special!

Thanks to TheLastSidekick, Saranhai, and LoserSkater and everyone responsible for the AT&T leaks!
Thanks to @stratatak7 and @upndwn4par for the AT&T insecure kernel and @loserskater for permission to use it! We would not be as far along as we are without their work!
Thanks to everyone who has taken the time to try our all of our roms and report on your results!!!

CHANGELOG
This is a copy/paste of the changelog as listed at SamMobile.com for the I9300 update. Most likely, we will see the same features and improvements, but this is by no means guaranteed. Also, and once again, I remind you that what we have are LEAKED test builds. They may not be complete, so if something is not in the leak, it does not mean it will or will not be in the official release!

Known Bugs/Issues
This leak is primarily for the T999 on T-Mobile networks ONLY. You can flash to a T999L/N/V, but will have no mobile data connection.
Most who are not on a T-Mobile network have reported issues with the SIM card not being detected. YMMV.
You MUST flash the UVUEMJ4 Modem/Baseband. No others will work at this time.
I suspect that some of the more random issues may be due to older firmware.
I recommend flashing the UVDMD5 firmware if you haven't already done so. Update via Recovery. Update via Odin.
Knox may prevent some root apps from keeping persistent root privledges.
If using a secure kernel, seLinux is set to "enforcing" and may block root from being granted to some apps.
Suffers from the profile folder problems. /0/0/0/0/0/0/0/0 Every time you flash a 4.3 build, it will create a new /0 folder under the current one and will use this location by default. Manually copy /data/media/ to /data/media/0 after every flash.
Samsung Keyboard is buggy, will jump around while typing, making it virtually unusable.
Let me know if I have left anything out or if you find anything not yet mentioned.
A note about reporting bugs
If you dirty flashed (did not factory reset), or if you have applied any mods, please do not report bugs. Reflash clean and test first. If you discover a bug caused by a mod, please let us know, but flash clean so you can be sure if it is the Rom, the mod, or something else entirely.
Make sure you pay a visit to and give props to the guys at:

FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I flash this to my T999L, T999N, T999V?
Well, sort of. You can flash it if you want to see what 4.3 will be like. But without a 4.3 modem for your specific device model you will not have any Mobile Data connection at all.
Can I flash the UVUEMJ4 Modem to my T999L, T999N, T999V?
In short......NO!
Will the MJ4 Modem work on older ROMs/Firmware? e.g. 4.1.2 based Rom with MJ4 Modem.
YES! But ONLY if you have the T999!
Why do I get a notification that root access has been blocked?
Welcome to Fort KNOX! If this is a problem you cannot live with, either remove Knox from the Odexed build, or just flash the deodexed ROM.
I just flashed X ROM and now all of the data on internal sdcard is gone! What happened to my data?!?!?
Don't Panic! It did NOT delete any data! The ROM created a new /0 (zero) folder and by default connects to this as the root of your internal sdcard. You need to copy your data from /data/media to /data/media/0/. You will find all of your files are still intact, they just were not being seen because of the messed up folder structure.

Screenshots
Some screenshots of Day 1 & 2 battery use.
First full cycle.
Keep in mind that my battery is over a year and a half old! But this is 19-20 hours on battery, using 6 hours of screen on time (a good bit was set at mid to high brightness), and using TapaTalk which isnt really the most gentle app when it comes to battery use!
Second full cycle.
Obviously not quite as good as Day 1, but I think this is due to the fact I was doing more testing, more reboots, and the Swype Keyboard (from the store, not the included one) was installed and being used along side Tapatalk. Plus, at one point after flashing something, I had walked away and got sidetracked, leaving it booted in recovery for about 20-30 minutes. Im not sure how much of an effect this would have had, but figured I should mention it!
Conclusions So Far
The rom itself seems to be surprisingly excellent on battery! The Day 1 battery really showcases the ROM's battery use, on its own (plus Tapatalk). So if you were to flash it and make good use of Settings, you should see similar results.

You can just check there and if you see it, it's ready. I will properly fix the link in the OP soon, but for now will link it to the folder as well. Make sure you check the md5sum before flashing!

[ROM][PORT] NOTE 4 N910F Dr.Ketan Custom ROM V2 For Tmobile N910T (Odexed) 12-15-2014

Doctor ketan's PORTED Custom Rom v2
===============================
Dr.ketan's PORTED Custom Rom v2 is based on the Samsung
Galaxy Note 4 N910F 4.4.4 NK4 Touchwiz Kitkat firmware.
Please Note: This is a snapdragon PORT from the international
Note 4 forum and this is an ODEX rom.
For best results please be sure to read the following
important instructions and do a full and "complete"
wipe before flashing.
==========================
If you don't, please blame yourself for any issues you might have like bootloops,
fc's and getting stuck on the boot up screen if you do a dirty flash
or if you don't follow the following instructions.
-------------------------
Here are some important instructions to follow after flashing this rom
#1:Once you are done flashing and you see the initial setup screen wait until you see
a dr.ketan small rectangle popup on bottom of screen saying "thanks for using this rom".
#2: Once you see the popup reboot and wait a couple minutes to let the rom settle down.
#3: Now you can start the normal initial setup just like any other roms you have flashed.
#4: After you have flashed the rom DON'T install or flash anything for an hour or more so you
will know if the rom is working properly before you install or flash any mods, addons or games.
(Especially Exposed Framework and it's modules)
#5: Don't flash any firmware, modems, bootloaders or kernels which are not designed for N910T.
If you have any rom related questions please visit Dr.ketan's link:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-4/snapdragon-dev/n910f-custom-rom-t2941006
There you'll find a lot of very detailed, useful and interesting information about this rom.
All of your questions will be answered in dr.ketan's thread if you read the OP thoroughly.

Excellent work Misterjunky, I'll be doing some ports myself soon enough also with the data fix I created for these international roms. I used to port for the note 2 and 3 forgotten to mention that to you when I gave you the fix ☺

Awhile back there was a special tool for porting roms, it was a windows applications.
I think I still have the old windows tool somewhere which more or less made porting
easy, wish I could recall the exact name of the tool...
Of course it's obsolete now and would not work on any of the current roms or phones.
It must have been about three to five years ago when I first used that porting tool...
I think it was in the old Samsung Infuse, Captivate or GS2 days when I used it.
Perhaps you can recall the exact name of that windows android porting tool?.
If or when you decide to open a thread here in xda, let me know so I can link it
in my threads.
Anyway, have a great day and thanks a lot for all your help.

I see that you are not using firefox or internet explorer for your browser.
That's why you don't see it. But you can see the little speaker icon right?
No one else has any problems seeing the captcha.
Put your headset on or turn on your speaker click on the
tiny speaker icon in the captcha box so you can hear it.
Better yet, why not use firefox or internet explorer, after
all you'll never see what you are missing if you don't! LOL
Have a great day!

Yeah I recall that tool also, definitely wouldn't be of any use for us now unfortunately. Was made for older devices and file system partions etc. Definitely would have been nice tho. Glad you gotten Dr.Ketans permission to port, seems these devs don't like me or something every time I ask lol then again I only asked @soloilmeglio from Xnote. I do have @daxgirl permission for her 6thgear rom port, she's great
Perfect, my friend! You absolutely outstanding!!! Congratulations!!!

Maybe @soloilmeglio just did not understand you, after all he has a very foreign name LOL
Perhaps one of these days one of the developers who knows how to create windows
applications will come up with a similar porting tool.
What really surprises me is that in the Note Edge developer's thread
the developer already has a rom with the Aroma installer working.
[ROM] [SM-N915S Exynos] 08 Dec [Aroma] TW KK 4.4.4 [NK5] | SkyHigh v1.0 | Multi-CSC
http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-edge/development/rom-915t-tmobile-12-3-t2961773
Since the note edge is so similar to our firmware I wonder why none
of the devs here in the note 4 forum has gotten aroma installer to work.

I am similarly having issues seeing the captcha. I have tried Chrome dolphin and the built-in browser for the note 4, I've tried changing it to desktop mode nothing works.
my assumption is that it is a mediafire problem but unsure.

A couple hours ago I added the signal/data fix to the Xnote rom and even
though it flashed successfully it just bootlooped at the startup screen so
I had to pull the battery.
So I would guess that the signal/data fix was only designed for dr.ketan's rom.

In the Rom, I left the original SlimLP boot animation, however, I have made a couple of simpler custom boot animations for SlimRoms, which you can find here if you would like to use one of them instead:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/slimroms/general/homemade-slimroms-boot-animation-t3377271
This SlimLP ROM was built for the JFLTETMO, the T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S 4. However, The updater script has been modified, and it would allow itself to be installed on any of the Galaxy S 4 devices. I have not tried this on any other device, but you are welcome to try it AT YOUR OWN RISK.
A huge thanks to the SlimRoms team!

Notes: a place for notes about the ROM.
Background image
The futuristic and really cool background images used in this rom were provided by The Quiet Learner, you can visit his website for more information and more really great pictures. https://qlfiles.net/
Security Updates
As of February 2016, the SlimRoms team has stopped updating SlimLP with security updates. I have decided to continue updating SlimLP, but only with Critical security updates from the Android Security Bulletins: https://source.android.com/security/bulletin/index.html. Please note that I am only updating Critical updates, not High, Moderate, or Low security threats. I am doing this by hand and may miss one update. Please be advised that this rom is not as secure as Marshmallow roms that are kept up to date. I am doing my best, but I may also be a little behind the bulletins. Please be patient. I decided Critical updates were better than none, but I can only do Critical updates, as this sometimes takes editing over 800 files per monthly bulletin.
Camera
Every now and then, when I use the built in camera app, it will take 2 or 3 pictures, and then the camera picture button will be grayed out, and you must exit and re-open the camera app to take more pictures. This does not happen with Open Camera app, which is available online or at the play store. Overall the camera seems to be working great, I'm not sure why the built in app sometimes has this issue.
GPS
GPS seems to take an unusually long time to get a fix, even outdoors in the open sky. It does work and stay locked for me, but I thought I would share, in the event others noticed this as well. @redx64 has pointed out that you can speed up the GPS by downloading GPS Status and toolbox and use fastergps to update your GPS config file to your region.
Gapps or no Gapps?
For those who do not wish to install, or who are prohibited from installing Gapps, there are some great alternatives. Aptoide works really well in general, and I did take some time to test it with this ROM. As for my apps, Aptoide had all but 2 of the apps I use available, and many alternative apps as well. If you wish to forgo Gapps, but still want a login, app searching, automatic updating (or not, depending on your settings), user friendly tool, then you might want to give Aptoide a try.
The best way to use layers successfully with this ROM:
After doing some testing of the layers on SlimLP, I learned a few helpful tips.
1. The PlayStore Layer Manager App is too "new" for SlimLP. The 4.+ version available from the PlayStore will not let you undo the layers, and hense you cannot go back to stock. Use this older version (3.5) instead, which allows you to install, apply, delete, and undo changes:
https://www.mediafire.com/download/q94w8j7xuyhpudz
2. The PlayStore layers themes are often incompatible with version 3.5 of the layer manager app. Don't worry though, there are tons to choose from here on XDA:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3011075
This Mega thread has tons of them to choose from. If you want these, only download the ones that are zip files for best compatibility. The zips should show up in your download folder, which you can move anywhere and use from the app.
The app has an option to "delete" layers, which actually means "undo" that layer, not actually delete the zip file.
If you still wish to use the PlayStore app and themes, keep in mind that you cannot "undo" your choice of theme. And sometimes themes have an undesired side effect. Two themes from the PlayStore that I have successfully used were BluSky theme, and Elixium theme, both of which worked well, with the exception of the systems -> battery settings chart looked funny.
If you use the themes, I highly recommend doing a TWRP backup first, to make sure that you can always go back!
Governors:
If you want to save battery life, I recommend that you use the "No-frills CPU Control" app and set your Governor to something like Powersave or SmartMax, and your I/O scheduler to Noop. This may affect performance slightly, but will save on some battery power.
If you want to increase performance, I recommend that you use the "No-frills CPU Control" app and set your Governor to Lionheart, Ondemand, or Performance, and your I/O scheduler to CFQ. This will boost performance slightly, but will have a negative impact on battery power.
Powersaving <----------> Performance:
Powersave, SmartMax, Conservative, Interactive, Lionheart, Ondemand, Performance.
Fast Charge:
To use Fast Charge, you must enable it in the Kernel Adiutor app. If you want to set custom settings, you will need to get another app from the Play Store, such as Device Manager or other apps that allow you to control the fast charge settings. Note that some fast charge settings apps do not change the appropriate values to function. The lockscreen may still say "slow charge" as the rom itself does not natively support fast charge, even though the kernel does.
Also, if you have any questions or comments (even if you didn't like it) about this ROM you are welcome to post them in this thread. SlimRoms is not for everyone, since it is rather "slim". No sense starting a Q&A thread for this ROM when we already have a thread here...
Thanks for your work on this. Really miss having a SlimRom, used to run on my SG4. With all the BT issues plaguing MM ROMS currently, I may give this a whirl.

I should think BT is fine, as devs had it working pretty much 100% for the LP ROMS.

Its a rough build with little updates
As you know you cannot flash jfltexx versions of the ROM
If you want to you need to flash a xx recovery
Could you add super user to settings
(I feel dirty unicorn covered the most ground with its settings menu
Feels like slim always misses something so I finished testing an went back to a previous ROM

Slim is certainly slim. I do like some of the built in features, like the ability to remap hardware buttons in the settings menu, the built in screenshot tool, slim pie, and the slim recent apps bar when you hold down the home key. So I think that Slim has lots of "subtle" features that most folks are unaware of.
No worries though, thanks for trying the ROM out.
Edit: I finally figured out how to take a screenshot while the slim pie controls were open.

Hey guys, I'm new to the ROM scene, this is my first go. Well, second time trying to flash a rom. Anyway it flashed and booted fine but on first boot its having trouble with all the gapps, I assume I used the wrong version of the gapps zip file. Should I just try different versions one at a time? Could that brick it?
Thanks

First and foremost, thanks for giving SlimLP a try!
Second, as for the Gapps, trying different ones wont brick it, but you will need to do a fresh wipe, install the rom and then gapps, as per the first post instuctions. I recommend that you try this one:

Open gapps is my go to,
Then it's dynamic gapps
But here we have 100s of gapps (well like 5-10 to choose from)
Rome are tricky learn everything you can before the flash (read some issue reports by users and don't forget to post yours (log is best)

Loving this rom. Most stable and fast compared to the Dirty unicorn and Pacrom I tried before. If anyone is having problem with GPS , i reccomend the following. Download GPS Status and toolbox and use fastergps to update your gps config file to your region.
Here is a screenshot of the benchmark with this ROM using the linaro 4.7 tool chain. I was hoping to try a few other tool chains to see if it makes a difference. So far the kernel build fails with the linaro 4.9 tool chain.

By the way, you can set the display to 320 DPI to get the most out of your screen, too. It is in the settings menu as LCD density.
