[Q] Liquid Smooth for E975 International?

HI guys,
I came across this korean website blog.naver.com/PostView.nhn?blogId=dlrbdnjs10&logNo=10168561431, I wonder if I could flash this after unlocking bootloader with FreeGee?
I am on E97510f-SEA-XX, would FreeGee be able to unlock this bootloader?

Unlock device with FreeGee.
Place the rom and gapp's at the root of the internal SD card.
Reboot into recovery, by pressing the volume button up and holding the power button down at the same time.
Do a nandroid/backup!!!
Do a factory reset.
Wipe cache.
Wipe Dalvik cache in advanced options.
Then head into mounts an storage.
Format system.
Format data.
Format cache.
Then go into the install menu, flash the rom and gapp's.
Remember to do yet another factory reset, before you reboot!!!

I actually know the steps/procedure.
What i am unsure is 1) whether FreeGee can unlock this version of mine. 2) if i could flash the liquid smooth rom (notice no one posted it on Android Development sub-forum

There you will find liquid rom and carbon rom, for our device (e975) plus a few others and they do work
And by the way if you have the e975 version, you will be able to use Freegee to unlock device

I recommend yu nt to format system/boot on safer side.....!! also run freegee once to unlock the bootloader and take a backup of the freegee files to lappy/pc.... It may help yu at some tym im future....,!!

Well, i agree... But as he stated before, he knows all of this.
His actuel question was, would Freegee be compatible with the lgog e975 europe version...
And if yes, would he be able to flash this rom he came across at some site.

not exactly sure that it is the europe version, but my software is E97510f-SEA-XX.

E975 is international version nd sure freegee ll work.... Aftr yu unlocked bootloader use quick reboot app to entr recovery mode...

@hasan4791 have u flashed custom rom on ur E975?

If you follow the steps we mentioned before, to the letter,
then yes, you can flash any compatible rom.
However, if you don't feel confident enough doing this,
then i would adwise you to, go trough the more detailed guidelines/discriptiones.
If you look hard enough, you will find these guidelines posted here, in this same general section,
that you posted this thread.

a few more questions.
- what is the difference between the free and paid version of FreeGee in playstore? The free version will unlock too right?
- will Houcha kernel (forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2246152) work with liquid smooth?

No difference.the paid version is maid so we can support the devs.i bought it just for that.consider it a donation to shelnutt2.
About houcha kernel,i'm not sure,but if liquidsmooth source is official cm10.1,then it won't work.different sources,cm is based on lg's source,while houcha is based on a modifies nexus4(mako) source.so it won't work.

Latest korean LG G2 F320K11a firmware new hide navbar feature

There is a new firmware out that I'm running on my F320 now. Its F320K11a completely stock. However its a update.zip flash, so you need to install recovery and then flash it. I have flashed this over a F320S and L Model no problems. So its safe to say it will work on all F320's make a CWM backup first and place in on your hard drive just incase.
Changes include now in the menu nav settings you can now high the menu buttons for most apps.

Yes the korean model needs some love, really its the best version with a removable battery and mircosd support
Its not a custom rom, I've installed its stock carrier F32oK Olleh firmware 11A, it just installed like a custom rom as its not a KDZ but a update.zip
You need the CWM touch mod apk installer here to install it. You should make a cwm backup to an external source before flashing the update zip. And later factory reset if your coming from F320L or F320S to stop and errors.

Not sure, which recovery are you using? I can test for you. If I install it I loose my mircosd card paths and can access my sd.

Open recovery,its ok tho i did it already now i need to see how it goes lol
There was no need of a clean set up tho,it s an otan so its supposed to go above any firmware.No problems or errors so far and i kept all my files and setting intact.

guys , i 've installed .11a from TWRP recovery , this is fully compatible .

Any tips on how you installed Open recovery? I tried to install it with the info here. When I reboot into recovery its a blank screen and if i connect a usb cable windows wants to format various drives

Looks like a nice feature but if the button's are hidden how do we go back or press menu ??

My friend its super easy i just used flashify....And i opened the file with the recovery image tab.Thats it it only took 2 sec max...

There is a little tab in the middle you click to bring up the menu again.....

No Its the S model that its practicaly the same with L or so i think...Cause inside when i open the case it says F320s/l

The latest K11C firmware leaked release dated 24th of Sept. Its an update.zip within the rar file so flash via twrp or cwm and remember to wipe/factory reset to stop any errors. (Always backup too)

[Q] Flashing E988 modem isn't working

Hi,
I installed CM 10.2 and flashed the HK modem for my E988 through TWRP, but my phone won't pick up Virgin Mobile in Canada. It did before when it was in stock. I entered in the correct APN files as well.
Please help. Haven't been able to use this phone for the last 2 days.

When you are installing cm you dont need to flash modem files. Try to reflash cm without the modem file.

Hi, I tried that but it still doesn't find the Virgin network. It only finds Bell and Rogers.
Also, under About Phone, it says my phone is the E980, which it isn't. Would that impact anything?

No that's not normal. When you have the e986 like me it can show e 980, but on the e988 it shouldn't sbow e980

I've wiped everything. Dalvich cache too. Is there a separate CM ROM file I should be downloading? Or am to use the E980 one?

It's strange. Try the cyanfox or vanir rom out, maybe it will fix the problem.

What? But it is the e988? I don't understand. I think there isn't a solution for you. You have tried it many times. I think you should flash the rom that are based on the stock rom. There is a rom with lg g2 features or try a rom with xperia z look.
Sorry maybe you don't want these roms but i haven't a solution for this. Try to ask in the cm thread maybe they will help you.

I used to have The E988 it dosent work with virgin mobile....it barely works with fido.
That phone only supports 2G/LTE here in canada, you should see if you can get the AT&T E980

1 i want to know how to return to stock rom after flashing custom rom
2 i need a carbon rom for my fone n the method of flashing it
3 i want to know how to downgrade my os

Start with reading FAQ
THIS to reflash stock (get kdz from HERE)
And for downgrading / upgrading just flash the ROM you want. No different partition layout, only the way it's mounted (cm10.x and higher will use media/0/ as default)

Going a little off topic here but that means if I'm running cm11 nightly whatever I could just go flash cm10.1.3 and the compatible gapps?

What do you mean rom update? If you wanna flash a rom just enter CWM and choose flash zip and locate the file.

i recently flashed carbon rom in my phone and i made a nandroid backup what will happen if i restore it? will the old rom be restored of just the apps data n files etc?
also everytime i flash a rom my phone's memory goes down and there is nothing showed on storage where is all the memory going? and how to free the memory?

Whit root browser check if your files are in the folders data/media or data/media/0

When you flash a new kind of rom, always wipe data/factory reset and wipe cache and dalvik cache. Hope this helps.

Is it just my browser that sends me flying of the kdz fw page directly to ad-spam-wtf pages. And I cant get back to that page either? Trying to get 10B eur open.

Yes, I already have 10H. But after root and deletion of some apps, if I try to reboot the device it wont turn back on. It shows LG-logo and "Security error" and then i have to flash kdz again. Tried twice. Plus 10B was the fastest and most stable stockrom for me! Anyone have a good dl-link?

When you flash this rom, it opens aroma installer, I tried installing the L version first and it wouldn't boot. So I re-wiped and installed the S version and it booted fine.

Actually, I realized after I posted that I could NOT see my SD card. Not a huge deal breaker for me, but I'm looking at how to fix it. Meh.

Why basically every OGP are the same.
Make your Backup of your ROM and whatever **** you have on your phone (include porn, nudes etc)
Then READ ALL and ask if need more help but if your phone start a Thermonuclear war inside then you have been warned

I don't think so. Recovery reads the card fine, and when I flashed back to my earlier room, I can see my SD card fine. Besides, I have 20+ gbs of stuff on my SD card, don't feel like backing up and wiping to have it not change anything. I believe the path is incorrect on the rom.
EDIT: I see there is a new version called final. I'll download and try flashing that and see if it fixed the SD issue.

I think thats a kit kat rom different with jelly bean, i have flash stock 4.4.2 with LG Mobile Tool, my SD card all file gone, but space deduced. I think you should backup your SD card if you want official Kit kat...
