Sorry, I've never really built a non-sense ROM before. I normally just add apps and change settings! Help me if you can to make this port possible
I may be a noob but I'm always up for a challenge.
Maybe we can ask developers in x8 or galaxy ace for help. They got an alpha version of ics.

First of all, this is not a full nativ port. It's chroot and most credits goes to androidlinux.com. Due to problems i had with this tutorial and the tutorial in the ubuntu installer app i decided to share how i solved it. This will not damage your Android OS. In addition i will make a script in the feature to reduce the above steps on a few. We will be running Ubuntu "chrooted" under your ROM. Your phone functions will still work and there is no chance to hurt your phone. Chroot is like a virtual machine on a pc.

ok got it booted up today! will be working on some minor fixes before releasing! AOKP rom control crashing!
there is no need to port this from another device.. Just make a new folder called rootbox or whatever, cd into it then open terminal and type
repo init -u [email protected]:Root-Box/platform_manifest.git -b jb
then
repo sync
Then clone my device tree and kernel tree from cyanogenmod github and build it
