Hi, I have a prooblem with my G Pad's keyboard. When I'm typing it starts to freeze, then all the G Pad freezes until the keyboard goes off, which it will by itself, then I press on a text box again and it shows up to crash again and all the OS freezes with it... Now i'm using another keyboard because until half of this post it crashed like 7 or 8 times! It's a great keyboard, it's a pity i can't use it.
Does anyone have the same problem?

you can test that
go to settings, applications, all, lg keyboard and clear cache and data

I am experiencing keyboard freeze in this occasions:
When i enter messaging, create new message, if i instant start typing receiver's name, it freezes for 2 seconds, and then after that everything is smooth...

I have it too.
I use Swype though. Don't know if it's a keyboard thing?

Micro sounds question

Hi all.
I'm having a little issue with my Gnex,
When silent mode is on, I can hear micro sounds from the speaker, it only happens when a sound should run in that moment (if I were using loud mode) like pressing keys or typing in keyboard.
If I disable key sounds this issue disappear but well, I don't want to modify this check everyday.
Someone with the same problem?
Running stock Gnex, JB 4.1.1
Thanks in advance

Please someone help,
I've detected also that battery stats tells that audioOut_2 is running, it stops if I disable those sounds but not If I put the Gnex on silent.
Any anyone?
Thanks so much

does it happen on all of the roms you flash?? have you tried using quiet hours instead of setting it to silent?
as for the audioOut_2 wakelock, here's a discussion link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1792081
they said that sometimes, it occurs because of apps or games continuing to run in the background like gta3 for example.
someone also posted that switching to faux's kernel got rid of the issue.
Firstly, thanks for trying to help.
I tried some custom roms before coming back to stock, but I can't remember about this issue,
If I remember correctly, it was happening also before I perform last factory reset.
Anyway, did u understood my problem? It is quite hard to explain it
Thanks for all

Well I've tried the same with headphones connected and the "sound" still appears while the phone is silent and using my keyboard (or just clicking on send in messages)
Any idea how to fix it?

[Q] touch lag

Hi,
So I got my G Pad a little over a month ago and it was great. Now I've noticed that there's a delay between me pressing an on screen button and the option lighting up as confirmation that I've touched.
Can anyone help me fix it?

Hello..
If your tablet is still stock, I would do a Factory Reset.. BE AWARE if you choose to do that, you will ERASE EVERYTHING on your tablet.. And it will be as stock as it was when you took it out of the box.
If your tablet is rooted, you can create a backup of whatever ROM you are currently running and either reinstall it or try a different ROM to see how your tablet acts.
I don't think doing a simple Cache/Delvik wipe will resolve anything ( If you are rooted ).. it seems like you may just be out of memory/storage which will sometimes cause a device to lag when making inputs. The only other thing I can think of is, you recently installed an app that is really hogging resources and dragging your tablet down..
Be sure to come back and post your results based on what options you attempt to resolve this.. I'm curious to know what happens.
Thanks I'll try the factory reset
:good:
So I did a factory reset and it didn't make a difference I'm gonna deselect the option to restore everything to my tablet and see if that helps

Desire Z Keyboard's botton problem

Hello, I'm just opening this new topic for one really bad issue that appear on my HTC DESIRE Z.
When i need to write something and the keyboard appear, the letter "P" don't work.. when i try to push it, the system will push the first letter on the left. If i switch the keyboard in "numbers mode" the same botton work. The same problem, solved if i put the phone in vertical mode (the "P" letter work perfectly). Tried to change stock keyboard with another keyboard, but the problem remain... tried to calibrate the touch screen, but the problem remain... tried to make reset from the setting option and factory reset from the bootloader, but problem remain. What i can do? The phone have rom stock, never rooted and never changed the rom.
Help me please, thanks!
(sorry for bad english, but i'm an italian boy)

I take it your hardware keyboard works fine its just the software keyboard?
Get an app like zdevice test and run all over the screen and see if there is a spot that won't register. If so then you probably need to replace the digitizer

[Q] play store crash when pressing back button

I have two identical phones that do the same exact thing. When I press the back button or the play store menu button, it crashes. every time.
I can, however open the menu by swiping right. I can also go back by pressing the back softbutton.
Both phones are the same with the same firmware and version. It doesn't do this on my nexus 7 using the same account.
I'm having this same issue. Did a factory reset and that didn't change anything. I'm wondering if the new version of Play is just broken with the OG :/

It is. On 4.1.2 Jellybean the Google Play Store crashes everytime when the left top tab is clicked using Sprint LS970 LG Optimus G. Flash Cyanogenmod 11 4.4.4 KitKat ROM and the crashing wont happen anymore.

Same force close here on stock LGOG.
I just made it a habit of swiping instead of pushing the tab.
Open up playstore
Then from left side of the screen, swipe to the right. That the only way you'll see the settings and my apps section
