Welcome to CMB Roms- CM done Better... Dark Themed for his/her Pleasure
Why CMB?
We are just better , in a nutshell we set out to give you the best of CM, with none of the annoying features (see list below), all this wrapped in a custom black theme. We used the KISS principal when deciding what to offer, we based our frameworks on CM alone (not FrankFrameworks like some others out there), enabling us to provide updates and bug fixes as soon as CM does. This doesn't mean we are only relying on them for development, it just eases merging.
Features
Based on Android 4.4.2, CM11
All current features CM10.2
Dark Holo Theme, with drawables from TeamBaked)
Dark Mms app (thanks to my mates at TeamBaked for the start)
Dark Calendar
Dark Contacts
Ramdisk security tweaks, you can adb as root now!
Bash "tab to complete" now works
Remount helper, in adb shell
Old
Code:
mount -o rw,remount /system
New
Code:
remount /system
Better Right??
We plan to add more features, suggestions are welcome (but sometimes ignored )

Even on the stock ROM, you may have a 1x signal (which is used for voice/texting and generally has 2G like speeds.). But the stock ROM will still display it as 3G. This ROM and any aosp ROM will display your true connection.
If you do connect to EvDo on stock rom, but connect to only 1x on aosp, try restoring a stock ROM, update prl/profile and revert back to the aosp ROM of your choice. It should fix the issues.

Sent from my LG-LS980 using Tapatalk

I mean our phone has a prl ...preffered roaming list ....when ever we roam on sprint ..it hops to a verizon tower at lowest of there speeds .. some prls have been moded to fully force verizons 3g but our phone will display sprint and proper signal.. but i can assure you its not...if you go that route be aware theres a 300mb limit of roam data allowed anytime after sprint can give you the boot..i myself use about 13gigs of roam data on my nexus but i also havethis line and anotber on stock prl....im too lazy to find threads so google it custom sprint prl xda

Cyanogenmod 9 Stable for Hercules

I'm just posting a direct link to the CM download link for the SGH-T989. I'm not the developer (Obviously) this is pure non-kanged CM9 AOSP goodness. Finally out of RC phase, stable and ready to go.
http://download.cyanogenmod.com/?device=hercules&type=stable
Alright fellas, I'm not the developer. All of your questions really need to go to the Cyanogenmod team. I can only post information at my disposal. That being said this is a link to the things being merged for the Hercules.

How are the 4G speeds, the bluetooth volume and USB transfer speed?
Last I tried some weeks ago in July, all those were very low.

I flashed it...and re-flashed back to my previous rom. The USB transfer speed was horrible. And one of my biggest gripe is the stock ics camera does not have touch to focus...but I suppose this is a feature the CM team is still working on.

anywhere we can find out what works and what doesnt? But since its out of RC, everything should be working but like the usb transfer speed stuff would be consider small bugs right?

The transfers speeds have always been very low with CM9. I don't think it's a bug as much as they've just not increased the read/write speed for whatever reason. I believe you can adjust that with Rom Tool Box of you want. I need to try that to.
I've never really used touch to focus. Do other CM ROM's have this feature? Maybe they'll include it in CM10.

I ran through every build of jelly bean. Though its gorgeous and project butter greatly outweighs lenaro compilation in terms of performance output. In terms of stability and real world use CM9 wins for me. And with enough mods and under the hood tweaking my phone out performs the S3 in several ways. So if my year old device can beat its brand new sibling I'm a happy camper. CM10 will be fantastic once stable. Until then I need to have a phone not a toy.

Ok I clicked those two links with "info" and yea that was chinese lmao
Anyone running CM9 Stable care to comment on if they got 4G working? Last I tried Chop's CM9 and AOKP I couldnt get 4G, which was pretty much the reason why I'm running a non AOSP rom at the moment. Darkside is pretty badass and props to the dev but I love me straight up AOSP.
Also very minor issue but if you can check if NBA Jams is working?

Yes. HSDPA+ and HSPAP are functioning normally. At least for me they are. Never had any issues with any rom as far as that goes. Granted Stock ICS and the Darkside series gave slightly faster speeds. The difference is negligible in real world use. As far as benchmarks are concerned yes AOSP based roms are slightly slower. Keywords though, "real world usage". Fairly certain it has something to do with the bcm4330 drivers. Perhaps Samsung uses different drivers in-house as opposed to what they open source. Or perhaps they only open source parts of the driver that they have to and the rest is proprietary.
Cool, I'll give it a flash in a few moments and try it out.
On Chop's CM9 and on AOKP I couldnt get on 4g, I'd be stuck on 3G and even in areas where I would normally get 5+ Mbits I'd be getting like 1-2 so it wasnt that it was just saying 3G.

Unfortunately I only own the tf300t model and it would be beyond my skill level to setup an RIL without owning a TF300TG. it should work for your model but there would be no 3g support
CleanROM with kernel for (G) model works fine. Maybe I could just look for the proper libs/system parts, and by adding them to this Rom and flashing (G) kernel after it may work. Just asking for opinion from the dev, how do you think, will it work that way?
Thank you.

I like PA simply for the level of customization available. I'm not one to theme etc, but the visual options become very attractive once you've experienced them (i was skeptical, and wrong). that being said, haven't taken this version for a whirl yet, just hopped on cm10.1. once all settles, i will likely come home to PA

This is not the question for me as I love the features like per-app DPI, per-App status bar, this PA colours for Navbar and so on - only thing I don't like is that I don't get many updates (especially in kernel as ROM doesn't seem to have many bugs)
Do we have TabletUI available on this ROM?

well the lack of updates is due to the recent project that the lead developers have taken on, (AOSPA) which is closed source. once paranoid 3.0 is open source, development will be up and running in full force. and to answer the other question, yes tablet UI is available with this ROM.

Dirty flash over CM10.1 is possible yes, if you have any problems just wipe, make sure to make a backup just in case! also, as I am not privy to the source as of now, I do not know how far along they are, so no eta from me sorry!
Also, new mirror is up, I got too much traffic on my dropbox account so I switched to google drive for now(hopefully goo.im approves my application soon!)
Is the tablet mode on this, exactly like 4.1 Jellybean or does it have any 4.2 UI elements left in?

NOT simply a re-named CM build
Based on AOSP master with regular AOSP master merges
Open Source as all AOSP ROMs deserve to be
Easily switch between a custom and "vanilla" experience in the settings app "on/off switch"
LOTS of customization options including quick settings
Built with a custom GCC 4.7.3 toolchain (opposed to stock 4.6.3), strict aliasing, -O3 completely (including thumb_cflags), and other Linaro optimizations such as OOM/LMK changes. JUST TRY TO FIND A FASTER SOURCE BUILT JELLYBEAN ROM!

This is an ION build... You'd need PMEM to have camera. I'm building one now but I don't recommend using it, unless you're fine with the last PMEM camera build I put out.
Anyone try this yet? Simon, would you you consider this to be a daily ROM for the One V? Or would you recommend us to use this on a daily basis? Because I'm looking for a daily ROM for my one v.

Kernel has been updated so the module doesn't match your kernel therefore yes you would need to flash the new kernel.
Is MMS working on this? Bcuz if it does then I'll use over the latest version of Evervolv I'm using

It's "kind of" working just like it did in Evervolv, I can try and send, but it wont work at all in an app like GOSMS Pro even if I have the APN manually configured in the normal app itself, but in the regular SMS app it will "send" but only if I send the MMS, disable 3G, then re-enable it then it will send, and "usually" I have to disable/enable 3G again to receive the message. But that's the only way it works, it's weird even back when I couldn't get MMS working correctly, GOSMS Pro would at least send the MMS if I configured the APN settings in the app itself, but not even that works now.
Also I noticed I couldnt access Voice Dialer to enter my APN configuration, so atm I cant mess with APN's.

Just flashed back to CM10 and MMS works flawlessly for me, so it's definitely something to do with the ROM.
EDIT: did a complete format of the phone and MMS seems to work now, but I still am having issues with Voice Dialer not working
Thats ion related. I'll fix APN later. Beyond had sketchy methods on some things.

So far MMS seems to be working for me again, but i can't get into APN's because of I guess the ION issue with Voice Dialer? I had never ran into that before "at least on Evervolv lol"

probably not, I believe the partitions are different on the cdma tabs but I haven't really looked at the other variants.

So what did you guys add to make it Unofficial? I mean Im not dissing your work but there are already plenty of Non TouchWiz alternatives to flash and most have added layers to the plain CM10/AOKP/PA experience.Again Im not trying to sound ungrateful but Humberos has a good CM10 ROM on offer and I just was wondering what make this one different?

humberos does not support this variant of note 10.1. there are 5 variants of note 10.1 in total: 8000; 8010; 8013; 8020 and SCH-I925. later 2 variants are LTE devices and are still not supported either by CM team or humberos. since you are having 8013, this rom means nothing to you
I see I didn't catch the name in the title but I see it now thanks.

note 10.1 uses the basic gapps http://goo.im/gapps/gapps-jb-20130301-signed.zip
I've been running it for a week without any issues, should be releasing another update possibly today.
I just got it installed.
The pickest part was the getting the heimdall drivers to work for the bootloader unlock-
because I have many other android devices the USB driver install gets funky.
The CWM install step is not needed - unless you prefer CWM.
I installed the zip right from the bootloader unlock TWRP.
Just make sure to pre download the gapps and ROM zip files to the
sdcard before starting anything.
Installed up and running. Nice that I don't have the annoying Verizon update notice anymore and glad to be running CM. Only thing I've noticed so far is what seems to be a lower overall signal quality. Not sure if that has to do with a PRL or something more inherent in the radio code itself. Eagerly awaiting the next update to test out.

No it works not!! Because the Mounting Parts are other by the N8020!!!
You can flash a N8000 ROM on a N8010 and N8013 but not on a N8020 (LTE) ...
Totally digging this rom.

Its not handling handoff particularly well, at least when I first flashed it. Goes from being on WiFi to nothing, just basic cell signal. Have to airplane mode once or twice, maybe reboot.

So my situation is that I can get signal as long as its not connected to WiFi.
EDIT: After further tinkering it seems like if you wait about 20-30 seconds in airplane modr the LTE will connect once you turn off airplane mode.
Its a little annoying but beggars can't be choosers.
